- [X] A base of operations, more than the sparse living conditions you have right now. A safe place to store clues and your books and a workshop with whatever tools you can scrounge up.

I agree with Unlucky Bibliophobe here

Hmmm, info gathering or base building, what to choose? I think...

I feel like its good to just get our base built up right away to be able to craft things right away. We can always do some research later.

Being the trinket builder/ Special armor maker for the kids could be interesting, We might be able to make something very good with materials that comes from the TV world.

Coincidentally, there's a shopkeeper in P4 who does exactly that. I guess we could be a DLC character who offers an enhanced version of the service. Maybe fusing Personas into equipment, similar to P3:FES? In our case it would probably result in pseudo EGO gear.

Oh right. Old Man Daidara.
...Think we can do a collab? Make a deal and learn how he uses Shadow Pieces to make gear?

Seems the most prudent to set this up early. We need a workshop to do create our best stuff.

Oh hey kai, are you gonna update "Skin you alive is my wish" ?

eh.
that one mostly for testing purposes and I haven't really figured out anything then and by now I have mostly given up on it, I might revive it if I eventually get bored enough but yeah.
And really, I'm not that good of a writer and most of my things is a passion project I abandoned halfway through and or not even properly started.
I do want to experiment with nothing there again at some time, but for now? nope.
And I'm lazy. :V

In that case, why not simply inform the authorities

Point of order, does the City really have any authorities to investigate murderers with? I'm under the impression it's pure AnCap hell well the top Dog (ABC Corp) only care about the bottom line and a few specific esoteric rules. Like is "public servant you can go to instead of private military companies you hire at ridic rates" something he'd have any experience with at all?

Fixers fix everything, They do basically everything, From murder to investigating a murder if you want to do a job, you ask The appropriate fixers About it.
If you want to find your dead dogs killer, you hire an investigation focus office, if you want to kill that murder, hire a combat office, If you want to silently kill that murderer, hire a Assassination office, If you want to make sure your next dog doesn't die, hire a protection office, If you want to know anything that might kill your dog and anything that wants to kill your dog, hire an Info Office, You want to make sure your dog doesn't break a contract, hire a contract office, If you want to make sure the next dog you have is sixty percent off, Get a insurance And hire five contract office to make sure they didn't rip you off.
You want to do a job? You don't know where to go? Go find a fixer office and they do it for you.
If you want to make sure you don't get ripped off by those officers, you go find associations. They won't rip you off, they will do the jobcleanly, efficiently and better than most fixers office. But you will get charged more than average rates.
And that's it. There's no civil service or anything like that in the city, the head probably have those at one point but since got rid of them.

This is so much the ambiance of the City it hurts.

Although, I'm pretty sure that even that way your dog will only be 60% off because it is 60% dog.

But I want to point out that what you said is true only in the backstreets, the Wings do apply their own laws in their Nests, and they probably use feathers to do it rather than fixers.

Yeah that's kinda was I was thinking of, I'm not certain if Hokma would immediately think "go to the authorities" of which none really exist vs "hire an investigator to do this." Would have possibly made for some interesting culture clash too!

The wings probably have those, Heavily corrupted and extreme favoritism to the higher class with more money then the normal feathers too

[X] Plan: Hokma and Scientific Religion.
-[X] Research Something
-- [X] The Pages: something about that place has the Abnormalities reacting strangely, how has it affected them?
-[X] Something Else?
-- [X] Buy a computer with access to the net.
-- [X] If time allows, look for the ready-made equipment

Don't be like Benjamin, you are the upgrade.

Okay but what if, and hear me out here:
We made our base of operations and then researched the pages in the controlled enviroment that the base brings?

It's a good thought. My line of thinking, if we decided to go to the TV world (Hokma needs to help the kids come up with a better name than that) it would give us the opportunity to do field tests of the pages. But having a baseline for them in the physical world won't hurt.
