Civilization Name
Kingdom of Asgardia

Brief Description of Civilization
The Kingdom of Asgardia is a unique civilization, one that is not ruled under one single banner, but rather by a collection of System Lords and Ladies that govern their own systems, and are generally independent from each other. The Asgardians are a young, upstart civilization, only achieving faster-than-light travel capability some one-hundred years ago in their history. In that time however, they have advanced greatly in the field of science, discovering new technologies with a frightening pace. Their military, the Asgardian Royal Naval Service, is a well-disciplined and well-funded organization, and is the match of nearly any military power in their sector. While they pride themselves as a peaceful and exploration-driven society, only a fool would underestimate the Kingdom's prowess on the battlefield. Already tested once by the Avrynn Hegemony, an expansionist empire seeking to subjugate their lands as their own, the Asgardians managed to drive them back to their own lands, fighting against overwhelming odds to great success.

Species
Asgardian (Pandorum Zeursea)

Species Description
A humanoid species native to the Delta Quadrant, and is notable for being nigh-identical to Humans (Homo Sapiens), a species native to the Alpha Quadrant planet Earth. Due to eons of genetic modification (hereafter referred to as 'genemoding'), members of the Asgardian race are noted to be much more stronger and much more resilient than the average human. Their bodies have also been genemoded to survive the rigors of deep-space travel more effectively, not the least of which includes a 'respiratory bypass' as well as structural enhancements that allows them to survive the vacuum of space without the risk of death -- at least, for a certain amount of time. Asgardians are typically between 1.6 to 1.9 metres in height, with some rare individuals some two metres tall or greater. Their skin tones vary based upon the environment that they inhabit (or where their parents originate from), with Asgardians that live in more temperate climates tending toward fairer skin tones, whereas those that live closer to a planet's equator, or are exposed to more sunlight, tend to have darker skin tones. While exceptions exist, these are very rare -- owing to the Asgardian's mastery of their own body and their environment through their prowess at genetic and technological engineering.

Emotionally, Asgardians are spread all across its spectrum, though one thing that seems to be common to all Asgardians is their relentless search for knowledge and their thirst for exploration. Ever since they had mastered the power of the wheel, they have spent an immense amount of their considerable resources for exploration, be it through scientific knowledge, exploration of the body and the self, or through more traditional definitions of exploration: going bravely into the unknown, going where none have gone before.

An interesting quirk of their exhaustive genemoding is that they have an extensive range of hair colour. In addition to the browns, blacks, reds and blondes that occur naturally in the Asgardian populace, the last one-hundred years have seen the natural occurrence of blues, greens, and pinks as well. Eye colour has also been affected by this genemodding, with their normal black, brown, green and blue eyes being augmented by purple, gold, and red eyes. While these eye colours are currently viewed as 'exotic' or 'regal', as the Royal Family of Asgardia were typically white-haired, red-eyed people, the Asgardian Ministry of Heath projects that in the next hundred years, these new alleles will become commonplace in the genetic pool.

Information
The first Assault Carrier in service with the Kingdom of Asgardia. Although the later Lion-class would hold the distinction of the first Assault Carrier constructed by the Kingdom (the Phoenix was a converted Orion-class Battleship), the Phoenix laid many of the foundations for future Asgardian Assault Carrier design.

The Phoenix was converted in 2092 by the Scorpian Wardenclyffe Shipyards as a technological demonstrator of the validity of strike craft and carriers in space. While both the House of Scorpia and the Wardenclyffe corporation intended the Phoenix to be nothing more than just a demonstrator for future, less exorbitant designs, the Royal Naval Service was instantly enamored with the design. The Phoenix was thus pressed once more into service with the Service.

During her time as an active member of the Service, many of the design flaws that were present during her initial redesign were corrected, and the field experience earned during her twenty year service with the fleet aided immensely with the design process of future assault carriers. For example, the internal hangar bay on the Phoenix would be redesigned as two 'flight pods' separate from the main hull of the assault carrier. Designed to increase the available space for the machinery and storage space for strike craft onboard an assault carrier, it also reduced the risk of a catastrophic loss of a ship by divorcing the munitions and fuel supply of the strike craft from the main body. Additionally, emphasis was placed on tactical command ability, allowing the assault carrier to act as a flagship for a fleet, and to effectively coordinate fleet actions from a central location.

By the time the Lion-class entered service, the Phoenix had served admirably for thirty long years, a successful design that had stood the test of time. She was placed in the reserve fleet on April 9, 2135 and served as a training ship, attached to the Royal Naval Academy on Scorpia.

Lion-class Planetary Assault Carrier

400 x 5 Flechette-type MMWS Anti-Ship Missile

Information
The most numerous Assault Carrier class in service, the Lion-class is the ultimate representation of Asgardian design theory -- fast, well-protected and armed, and able to take on any task asked to complete. The Lion-class first entered service on May 6, 2129, and soon proved herself to be a worthy match of any capital warship. The Lion-class' basic design would be endlessly used in future assault carrier designs, with a large, angular 'alligator head' at the front, a massive engineering plant at the rear, and (at the least) two flight pods that contain hangar facilities for the assault carrier's support craft.

The Lion-class was host to many firsts in Asgardian ship design. They were the first class to use shielding technology, and they were also the very first class to trial the powerful SPECTRUM Beam Lance, an improvement of the earlier SPECTRUM Beam Array. They were also the first class to be designed with the Mass Fabricator Blueprint system, and is the first warship class designed to be completely modular. Entire sections could be replaced and refitted with different systems needed for a mission, and (with later refits) could be entirely self-sufficient with their own Industrial-type Mass Fabricator plant. Some 59 warships would be produced for the Kingdom, and they proved to be versatile designs capable of standing the test of time.

City-class Heavy Cruiser
Type : Heavy Cruiser
Ships in Class : 803 + 1090 produced post-war
First Introduced : 2120 (May 6 2120)
Length : 0.6 km (635 m, 2083 ft)
Crew Complement : 505

Strike Craft Complement (2167 Refit) :
40 F/A-20 Thunderbolt Strike Fighter
10 S-15 Anvil Heavy Fighter/Transport Craft

Armament (2167 Refit) :
20 x 3 380 mm Type-5SD mod 3 SPECTRUM Cannon, Standard
5 x 2 500 mm Type-5AW mod 0 SPECTRUM Cannon, Anti-Warship
Numerous 100 mm Type-8DP mod 4, mod 2 SPECTRUM Cannon, Dual-Purpose
12 Type-10DP mod 2 SPECTRUM Beam Lance, Dual Purpose
125 x 5 Flechette-type MMWS Anti-Ship Missile

Information
The most numerous type of warship employed by the Asgardian Royal Naval Service, the City-class is an advanced class of Asgardian Heavy Cruiser, carrying on the Asgardian tradition of emphasizing mobility and heavy firepower over defensive capabilities. Able to deliver a withering amount of firepower with her forward battery of ten 500 mm SPECTRUM cannons and Flechette missiles then jumping away, the City-class was an integral part of the early-war Asgardian defensive action. Multiple Citys working together in a 'wolf-pack', an old-school throwback to the submarine hunter-killer groups of old, would hold off the Avrynn Death Squads long enough to allow for a hasty retreat. The City was an adaptable, rugged design, well-suited to the role that it found itself used for. The design would survive the war itself, and with endless refits and modernization programs, would survive well into the future.

Orion-class Battleship
Type : Battleship
Ships in Class : 40 (initially 150, with the majority scrapped before 2167)
First Introduced : 2076 (December 4 2076)
Length : 1.6 km (1625 m, 5331 ft)
Crew Complement : 2650

Armament (2167 Refit) :
40 x 3 380 mm Type-5SD mod 3 SPECTRUM Cannon, Standard
Numerous 100 mm Type-8DP mod 4, mod 2 SPECTRUM Cannon, Dual Purpose
10 Type-10AS mod 0 SPECTRUM Beam Array, Anti-Strike Fighter
200 x 5 Flechette-type MMWS Anti-Ship Missile

Information
One of the first Asgardian ships-of-the-line ever built, the Orion-class would go on to serve the Asgardian Royal Naval Service admirably, acting as a symbol of Asgardian dominance in her domain. These durable and hard-hitting warships were designed from the ground-up to be able to withstand nearly anything that could be thrown at a battleship, and keep going. While they would be replaced in the traditional capitol ship role by the Lion-class Planetary Assault Carrier, they would be brought back into service with the Royal Naval Service during the initial years of the war, serving their intended design role well and buying time for the Asgardian fleets to retreat and regroup. Even after the Battle of Solanae, these massive warships found a unique role as the spearhead of a fleet action, providing themselves as a shield to the rest of the fleet's sword. Two Orions would be lost in this manner, but it is a testament to their designer's engineers that those Orions would later be recovered mostly intact, and placed back into service as a sort of psudo-Phoenix-class Planetary Assault Carrier.

Repulse-class Battlecruiser
Type : Battlecruiser
Ships in Class : 120
First Introduced : 2080 (September 1 2080)
Length : 1 km (1000 m, 3280 ft)
Crew Complement : 1700

Armament (2167 Refit) :
30 x 3 380 mm Type-5SD mod 3 SPECTRUM Cannon, Standard
Numerous 100 mm Type-8DP mod 4, mod 2 SPECTRUM Cannon, Dual Purpose
10 Type-10AS mod 0 SPECTRUM Beam Array, Anti-Strike Fighter
135 x 5 Flechette-type MMWS Anti-Ship Missile

Information
Conceived as a stepping-stone between the maneuverability of the heavy cruiser and the firepower of a traditional battleship, the Repulse-class was born out of a need of a heavy-hitting warship that was capable of supporting the earlier Chaser-class heavy cruisers with battleship fire, while remaining maneuverable enough to keep pace with her taskgroup. While initially successful, the Repulse would be later outclassed by the Lion-class Assault Carrier, a fate that befell her larger counterpart, the Orion-class.

However, with the outbreak of the Great Interstellar War, the Repulse would gain a second lease on life, aiding the newer City-class heavy cruisers in operations throughout Asgardian space. While she may be a product of a bygone age, there is no mistaking the effectiveness of the Repulse-class when combined with the City-class. Many have been brought back into service, rearmed and refitted with modern weapons. They have proven themselves to be very effective warships, capable of unleashing an unbelievable amount of firepower before disappearing with her escorts.

Valkyrie-class Assault Carrier
Type : Planetary Assault Carrier
Ships in Class : 10 + 4 currently in construction, circa 2168
First Introduced : 2167 (December 25, 2167)
Length : 1.5 km (1540 m, 5052 ft)
Crew Complement : 1280

Strike Craft Complement :
913 F/A-20 Thunderbolt Strike Fighter
150 S-15 Anvil Heavy Fighter/Transport Craft
12 Hammerhead-class Destroyer

Armament (circa 2168) :
100 x 3 380 mm Type-5SD mod 3 SPECTRUM Cannon, Standard
15 x 2 500 mm Type-5AW mod 0 SPECTRUM Cannon, Anti-Warship
Numerous 100 mm Type-8DP mod 4, mod 2 SPECTRUM Cannon, Dual-Purpose
48 Type-10DP mod 2 SPECTRUM Beam Lance, Dual Purpose
850 x 5 Flechette-type MMWS Anti-Ship Missile

Information
In the years leading up to the Great Interstellar War, the ship designers at the Scorpian Wardenclyffe Fleet Yards had realized that, in addition to their Lion-class PAC, they needed a shield capable of leading the charge and absorbing hits, while the Lions acted as the spearpoint, a knife poised to strike. If one compared the Lion-class to a sword, then the Valkyrie-class was a sledgehammer; an unsubtle weapon that uses irresistible force to overwhelm her enemies. Development of the Valkyrie-class began in 2161, six years before the outbreak of the GIW. A working prototype would be constructed over Scorpia, and when the war broke out, the Fleet Yard hastened to bring the warship online. When Scorpia fell in the fall of 2167, the yet-incomplete Valkyrie would make a daring jump to Solanae, where she would remain until the famous Siege of Solanae.

Finally completed during the Siege and under the command of Rear Admiral Ryan von Steiner, the Valkyrie quickly made a name for herself as a formidable vessel, successfully blunting the tide of the Avrynn siege and helping the Phoenix, commanded by Captain Samantha Chase, to repel the Avrynn assault. The warship, as well as her sister ship Excelsior, would take part in the bloodiest battles fought between the Kingdom and the Hegemony, emerging victorious each time. Post-war, the design was refitted, adding heavier weapons, powerful shielding technology developed by the Wardenclyffe ThinkWorks facility, and prototype shield 'Perforators', capable of allowing the ship's weapons to bypass enemy shields and directly attack the vessel underneath.

Technologies
Asgardian SPECTRUM Technology
Like most spacefaring civilizations, the Asgardians utilize directed-energy weaponry onboard their ships. Powered by a warship's powerplant and supported by their own, independent capacitor banks, almost all of the main and secondary armament onboard an Asgardian warship is SPECTRUM based.

SPECTRUM was developed in the early 1950s, initially as a derivative of early MASER (Microwave Amplification via Stimulated Emission of Radiation) technology. While initially having no practical uses, SPECTRUM would have great success in many fields, being used in surgery, engineering, the military, entertainment, and even in modern computers. Ground-based SPECTRUM emitters are roughly analogous to Human LASER technology, albeit much more advanced and powerful. Starship-mounted SPECTRUM emitters are an entirely different story. Through yet classified means, SPECTRUM weaponry typically produces packets of 'hard light', which when impacting an object explode, creating temperatures measurable at millions of degrees centigrade. These weapons are highly precise and powerful, capable of turning most unshielded targets into molten slag within seconds of an alpha strike, and can cause severe damage to a planetary target within hours.

Asgardian Frameshift Drive Technology
Sometimes described as a 'jump' drive, Asgardian Frameshift technology revolutionized the Kingdom's expeditions into deep space, allowing journeys that would take centuries using conventional fusion impulse drives mere seconds. The Frameshift drive itself consists of two components -- the Frameshift drive, as well as the Frameshift propulsion system.

The technology works by 'folding' space, creating a tunnel that drastically reduces travel time. The Frameshift propulsion system then accelerates the vessel to c-fractional speeds before crossing the boundary, allowing the vessel to pass through before the tunnel created by the Frameshift drive collapses.

It is important to note that Frameshift Drive-equipped vessels have a maximum range, due to the drive calculations becoming exponentially more complex and requiring more computational power the greater the distance. Only the largest warships -- assault carriers and battleships -- have the greatest range, owing to their massive computer cores.

Asgardian Shield Perforator and Shielding Systems
Asgardian shielding technology is sometimes stated to be the best in the quadrant. With multiple redundancies, high impact-tolerances, and advanced dissipation technologies, Asgardian shields are the magnum opus of the civilization. Current Asgardian shields use a tandem system -- a kinetic barrier that, through classified means, greatly increases the surface area of the object, and a more 'traditional' energy dissipation and absorption field, disabling directed energy weapons by employing an ionized field of energy that destabilizes a conventional energy weapon's containment field.

On the other hand, we have Asgardian Shield Perforator technology. Originally reverse-engineered from Avrynn technology, the Asgardians have managed to adapt the system for their own use, greatly improving upon the basic design principles, and equipping them on all of their warships. As a result, their warships have a devastating ability to literally punch through shields.

Small Vehicles used by the Asgardian Royal Naval Service
Despite their name, the Asgardian Royal Naval Service is considered the Kingdom's sole source of combined military might. Their divisions include the Royal Marines, responsible for ground operations, and the Royal Naval Air Force, whom operate the strike fighters, Hammerhead-class destroyers onboard Assault Carriers, and Anvil transports.

Motorized Support Vehicle Mk. VIII, M20 Lynx
Type : Armoured Car
First Introduced : 2160 (April 9 2160)
Crew : 4 (Commander, Gunner, Loader, Driver)

Information
A small, eight-wheeled armoured car (typically) equipped with a high-velocity Wardenclyffe G8-series 105 mm L/60 railgun firing ionized shells. The Lynx is best described as a design born out of tactical necessity, a fast yet heavily-armed vehicle capable of orchestrating hit-and-run tactics when assaulting ground targets. As the traditional doctrine of the Asgardian Royal Naval Service called for 'quick, surgical strikes against the enemy in order to weaken their strength', the Lynx was designed to operate under these requirements, trading the traditional Asgardian heavy armour for speed and mobility. The Lynx was also designed to be modular, and its chassis supports many additional modifications to the design -- typically to adapt the Armoured Car to a different task. Some permutations include a rapid fire autocannon, others a powerful flame projector. One of the most latest modifications is the addition of a modified SPECTRUM Beam Lance, giving the agile little machine a truly gigantic punch.

White Corps mostly prefers guided projectiles. They might be more expensive but also very efficient at what they do.
Their technology in general makes energy weapons a waste compared to projectiles.

And as I wrote before White Corps focuses on mobile infantry instead of vehicles. Vehicles still exist for transport and very specialized roles but for a force which guards places or performs special operations investing in tanks and such is like a waste.
On the other hand there's a rare and comparatively huge vehicle used for heavy assaults and anti-starship defense. It's basically akin to a Bolo.

Not necessary, but you can if you want to!

Are you still planning on having a rough guideline for our civilization's tech, like you talked about a little bit in your original thoughts on your plot bunny thread, with points distributed between different attributes, or have you dropped that idea?

Oh
Fuck

Kari'Va ships are primarily high-energy outputers. They rely on shields and speed more than armor plaiting, and are armed with destructive charged-particle beams and other energy weapons. The exception to this armor rule is their super-capital ships, but those are super-rare and super-expensive to make.

>implying that a well placed orbital bombardment can't destroy a bolo

wait, fuck, they can't be destroyed by OBs.

FUCK

Asgardian warships were like that, until the Avrynn screwed them over with Shield Perforation technology. Then the Asgardians got better and achieved a fine balanced between armour and shielding (their shielding technology is still unrivaled), and stole the Perforator technology and made it better.

....I've noticed that the Archon and Asgardians are somewhat similar physically...huh.

White Security Starforce uses sophisticated combination of various shields and armors to maximize their protection at an affordable cost.
Although while they have a somewhat decent protection above all they prefer to ve just not hit if possible. If I have to pick one category they excel at the most it's their sensors which allows them to only pick fights qhen they want. White Security Starforce mostly fills out escort duties, they are rarely if ever aggressors.

Taung Tech
Taung Technology

Deflector Shields: Designed as a way to better defend ships with the widespread advent of energy weapons in their home galaxy, deflector shields are the primary line of defense between an enemy weapon and the Hull of the Ship. Deflector shields are rated in classes capable of withstanding anywhere between the high gigaton to low petaton range and are often combined with a ship's ray shielding in order to stop projectiles as well as energy.

Hyperdrive: It is this technology which allows FTL Travel for the Taung. With a clear hyperspace route and optimal conditions, it is entirely possible to cross a galaxy in a few days to a week. However the course needs to be meticulously calculated by a navicomputer and plotted with a navbeam. Without hyperspace routes, multiple smaller jumps must be taken in order to recalculate routes so as to not pop back out in realspace stuck inside a star or planet, such a Hyperspace Malfunction could be catastrophic. It is for this reason that Hyperspace Jumps cannot be plotted inside the gravity well of a planet. In the worst conditions it could take anywhere from a few weeks to more than a month just to cross a Quadrant, with several small jumps in order to recalculate the route.

Blasters: These Plasma Stimulated Particle Beams are the main form of energy weapon in the Taung's Home Galaxy. They fire bolts of plasma stimulated particles at enemies that can burn through even the toughest materials with time and repeated hits. Their energy output is high enough that sustained bombardment from capitol ship grade blasters has been known to completely melt the crust of a planet down to the mantle, effectively glassing a world.

MAZERS: These energy weapons are unique to the Taung. They fire a pulsed beam of Electro-Ionic Energy at an enemy ship in order to knock out vulnerable systems. MAZERS have been known to fry sensors and cut power with repeated or lucky hits and while they don't do any actual damage, they are a potent tactical tool.

Supermaterials: The home galaxy of the Taung is home to several types of materials that when combined into alloys make for incredibly tough and durable materials. The Most Common are Durasteel, Duracrete, and Plasteel, but the Taung have been known to use an alloy comprised of minerals found only in the Ijaat Sector to make the most Durable Materials in their home Galaxy. However the materials for this Taung alloy can only be found in the Ijaat Sector and as such are a limited commodity. It is not unknown for the Taung to recycle wrecked or obsolete items made of this alloy in order to reforge them into new more updated and whole models.

Protomatter Technology: The Taung use Protomatter to power their ships and weapons. Protomatter is an order of magnitude more powerful than Antimatter and is made by refining antimatter into a more exotic particle. This allows the Taung to power their fleets and worlds.

Missile Tech: Taung Missile tech is the most advanced in their home galaxy, their sensors can target a single house on a planet from across a system and their guidance packages can deliver said missile within micrometers of the target. The Taung have also pioneered the use of Limited Intelligence Droid Brains as missile guidance systems. Such missiles can track even the most agile of ships.

Power Armor: The Taung are commonly associated with their Iconic Battle Armor, highly customizable powered armor that is made of incredibly lightweight and durable supermaterials. Taung Powered Armor is known for it's distinctive T-Shaped Visors on the helmets, durability, and for it's inherent modifiability. Taung Powered Armor has been known to take multiple blaster hits without penetration being effected, and is often vacuum sealed and paired with a Jetpack for use in space.

Droids: The Home Galaxy of the Taung utilizes a type of artificial being known as a droid for most manual labor on a macro scale. While not true artificial intelligence, the most sophisticated droids can be programmed with a reasonable facsimile of it, although the average droid has little more intelligence than a worker ant. This allows for mining and other dangerous tasks to be carried out by these unintelligent robots rather than true sentients.

Mechion Democratic-Republic Sheet
The New Mechion Democratic-Republic

Civilization summary:

The last remnants of a civilization thought long dead, the NMDR rebuilt their civilization from the ground up, and now reside in the Delta Quadrant of the galaxy. They are primarily a militaristic people, but out of necessity rather than beliefs. They have been under constant siege by the Old Mechion Empire, an ancient military that survived the fall of their people only to return to assume control and attempt to control the galaxy. They are often called the "Knights of the starways" due to their tendency to help anyone in need. Even then, they are also highly feared due to their massive fleet and the skill of their soldiers. They at one point also possessed the largest ship in the galaxy, the MSS Seraph, a 300 mile long dreadnought capable of wiping out entire fleets on its own. Despite this, they are very easy to reason with, and they are constantly looking for new allies to assist them in their struggle against the Old Empire.

Species: Mechions

Species description:
Mechions are completely synthetic organisms that greatly resemble humans, save or odd hair colors and eyes that seem to glow in the dark. They average at a height of around 6 feet tall. A Mechion is rarely seen without their power armor on. Wearing armor is a status symbol for them, the more powerful, the higher they are on the chain of command. But even with out their armor, they still extraordinary as they sometimes possess what are described as "elemental" abilities such as throwing bolts of lightning and freezing objects solid with a touch. Mechions do not need to breathe, eat, or drink. But they do so anyway, as going long times with out eating or drinking is met by excruciating pain and slowed reaction times, as will a lack of oxygen. Mechions can live nearly forever, this rarely happens however.

Military Units:
While not as strong as the armor used by commanding officers, the standard marine powered armor is still very strong in terms of armor and brute strength.
I more powerful version of the marine armor, with enhanced strength and armor. Can withstand a direct hit from a current era anti-personal RPG
The second strongest in terms of armor. The plates on the chest are thick enough to shrug off a high-caliber tank round. Barely
The strongest powered armor suit in the known universe. Using the same armor used on the Seraph, the high-admiral grade power armor is strong enough to allow its user to withstand a nuclear strike. But also, just barely.

Species Specific Technology and weapons:

  • Programmable Matter: A strange material that can programmed to do literally anything. It is the foundation of all construction for the NMDR. It also is used for combat repairs on warships and for weapons as well. It is also known as the "wonder material" because of this.

  • Fade drive tech: A form of FTL travel that is also known as "Dimensional Shifting" because it moves the vessel by removing from the dimensional plane and dropping it back in at its intended destination. Overheating a fade drive can cause a ship to not return from the "Nothing" as it is commonly called.

  • Solar Reactors: A type of nuclear reactor that functions by creating a small star in its core. The reactor siphons energy off of the small star and uses it to power the vessel it is inside. However, this type of fusion reactor is very inefficient despite the raw power it puts out. This means that that ship has to use a state-of-the-art fuel scooping system in systems with stable yellow stars.

  • Strike Suits: A special type of strike craft that can transform into a ground combat capable humanoid form. A strike-suit is a capital ship's worst nightmare. It has the firepower of a destroyer in a package the size of a heavy fighter. They are also used frequently in boarding actions to secure enemy vessels.

  • Advanced Power Armor: The mechions also posses the most advanced powered armor in the known universe, making their troops even more formidable. Mechion powered armor works by mimicking the muscles of the user with high-strength CNT fibers and bucky cables. The actual armor is layered on top of the CNT fibers. The use of programmable matter also increases the durability of the armor. By carrying tanks of programmable matter in unused areas, the armor's systems can be repaired in field and during combat.

  • Power Armor Co-pilot system: A special system for power armor users that allow a person (usually a significant other [basically like the drift system from PR]) to de-materialize themselves to run the systems of the power armor and grant a massive boost in performance. It is a form of symbiosis and is considered the highest form of trust among mechions. It is still not understood how this works, it is only know how to construct and program the co-pilot system.

  • PMO Shields: Programmable Matter Oscillation Shields, or PMO shields as they are called, are the pinnacle of Mechion shielding technology. While normal shields are a dense field of programmable matter held few nanometers above the armor by a electromagnetic field, PMO shields rotate strips of hyper dense programmable matter around a ship at extremely high speeds. This makes the shields almost unbreakable when facing an enemy using kinetic weapons. The only issue with PMO shields is that they do not block radiation in any form.

So, who's in what quadrant? I'd like to pick one but I don't know which ones are the most crowded.

Lanthern Commonwealth Sheet
Betterer version of my Civilization.

Civilization Name: Lathern Commonwealth.

Brief Description of civilization:
Lathern is a multicultural civilization with several species and it is more passive than most civilizations. Many of the people here are retired businessman and people who have fulfilled their lives and settled down. However, many people from this place often leave in search of fame and adventure. These people are often offspring's of those man and women (Or in-between or others) who have settled after years of exploring the galaxy. Often called the Land of adventurers.

Species: Chibi.

Species Description:
One particular species unique to this civilization are the Chibis. Small unisex creatures that resemble young female humans with cartoony proportions and are characterized by their small bodies with large heads with big eyes and they're usually 2 feet tall. They're a curious creature and behave usually like children, but despite this, they're very smart to the point of genius and despite their lack of athletic ability, their advance weapons, instead, make up for it. They reproduce through cloning, though the methods used are unknown, in fact, their origin is a mystery to many other species, not even they themselves know where they came from, however legends and rumors are spoken of their origin, but again, no one truly knows where these creatures come from.

Technology:
They specialize in engineering, advanced laser tech, energy manipulation, solar power and ballistics weaponry, however, they stay as far away as possible from nanotechnology due to all the problems that come with it. They strive for a balance in their designs, leading to a lot of practicality in their inventions, however, some tend to ignore this rule and create things such as a portable wave motion gun in the form of a sword that requires 30 seconds to charge up, leaving the user exposed to attacks, a potato bomb, and a flaming teddy bear. These are some of the example of the inventions that the Chibi have made.

Military:
One of the four armies that defend Lathern. The Chibi's Military take in the form of the Chibi Marines. They are powerful and strategic, capable of creating plans on the go. Their main strengths are their Large Numbers, advance tech, and strategic mindsets. Their power armour is often a bulky (or at least bulky for them) blue suit that's made of plastic Grade B Nintendium and is surprisingly flexible.
"Why did we take this job again?"- Every poor schmuck ever.

Makes up the bulk of the army. They come in basic power armor and standard rifles. Comes with several variations.

Scouts: They survey the battlefield and report nearby strongholds. Armed with Laser Uzi and jetpacks.

Sniper: Task for taking out key targets. Armed with stealth cloaks and sniper rifles.

Invaders: Tasked with offensive attacks. Armed with Standard grenade and Standard rifle.

Guerrilla: Hit and run tactics are these guy's bread and butter. Armed with fire grenades, laser machete and standard rifle.

Tantrum Marines: Angry Chibis that throw a tantrum all the time, they wear a yellow variation of the power armor. Armed with Laser Machete and that's all they need.

"Drive me closer, I wanna hit them with my sword"- Seibah.

Armed with the wave motion sword mentioned above and the knight's armor. They rally the troops and lead them to battle. They have had over a hundred battles and have unrivaled combat experience. Few can stand up to these mini knights.

Mech drivers:

"Wait! Where's the cup holder?"

Riding a 2 meter tall death machine, they are a powerful infantry unit and a force on the battlefield. The mechs are robust and easily repairable.

Tank driver:

"YES! MY DREAM CAME TRUE!!!"- That one poor schmuck that died the moment she went into battle.

They act as a kind of cover for infantry troopers and are good at artillery work. More robust than mechs but harder to repair.

"You'll be okay! I'll just be standing waaaaaaay back here while you act as a bullet sponge!" Alice McGhor.

Healer: These guys run into the battlefield along with the others and heal any wound that's not beyond their ability. Armed with laser pistol and any portable healing tools available.

Mortar Girls: These soldiers find strategic places and launch mortars at the target. Armed with mortar, knife and Laser Uzi.

Pranksters: Sneaks behind the enemy line and sabotages all their equipment as well as take out key targets. Equipped with stealth gear, bombs, computer viruses, and a silent operator.

Starting Quadrant: Beta
