I Think There's Something Wrong With The DADA Professor (HP/???)

Or even better, continually trying to be evil, but with everyone constantly misinterpreting our actions. We go down to steal the philosopher's stone, kill a teacher that happened to be down there, and we get credit for saving the trio and defeating Voldemort.

And Neville's the only one that sees it. "She tried to kill the DADA professor!" "Stuff and nonsense, boy. Without her help, we'd never have found out that 'Moody' was an imposter!"

Does this mean that the author has to do a retcon so that Bellatrix and/or her husband isn't in Azkaban, or that Regulus is still alive? It wouldn't be a too big plot change.

Nah, Bellatrix's child would have been between 1 and 2 by the time she went into Azkaban. Cygnus Black (aka Bellatrix's father) was alive until 1992, so he'd still be around at this point, so he could have raised Bellatrix's daughter.

You do realize the quality for that would be Gregarious, right?
Dunno, wasn't sure whether QM was doing one-vote house selection or that this would just be one of several factors considered. 'Cause studious on its own could fit with any house. The vote merely says it's our self-perceived strong trait.

(Then again, the first story post was breezed through at a brisk pace. The QM may have intended for that to be the house selection after all. >_>)

Maa. Slytherins by default are brave - you have to be to survive in the house of snakes and especially so if you want to actually fulfill those ambitions - and Hufflepuffs are studious - they are the house of the dedicated and hard working, after all.
