This isn't the Darth Vader route it is the route where Neptune is corrupted into a Goddess whose goal is destroy everything the player has built up judging but what happens when Rei does when corrupting things, like seriously she could corrupt a peer Goddess a weapon corrupted by her being capable of doing the same to a practically newborn Goddess in comparison is well within the realm of Goddess hax.

Like seriously I wouldn't be terribly surprised if this memory weapon was intended as a trap for any successor Goddess who might spring up it just took so long for one to do so that it became blatantly corrupted.

Furthermore even if it was a Darth Vader route purposely going down it would stupid because Vader being maimed cut down on his potential, and he essentially had to rework his entire combat style!

If you're voting for it because you legitimately believe it's the best option? Fine. If you think it makes for the more interesting story? Go ahead.

But when you're voting specifically to bad end the quest, isn't that spiteful and mean to other people's enjoyment of this quest?

No, 'Taking It' would not have caused a Bad End, or in any way lead to a Bad End.

No, 'Nuke It' would not have made Oberon Prime run at you like the demented hell chicken from heck.

No, 'Leave It' would not automatically have a Warframe show up to loot it later.

And yes, 'Ambush It' was phenomenally dumb.

Here's a fun fact, kids: Oberon Prime and his cronies were, and still are, nowhere near Fort Herakles.

Nuking it might have been safer. It was also the most boring option.

Leaving it alone wouldn't have led to a Warframe automatically looting it, so it would have just come down to a dice roll. Maybe that might have been better, but I suspect Oberon is going to acquire some sort of goddess bullshit equalizer, and the Sunspear would have been one of the options on the table.

(I'm now contemplating the possibility that Oberon Prime would have shown up with the Spear of He'stan and some other Memory Weapon. That would have been fun)
