So, realized I fucked up and forgot to make a note on the updated. So I went back in and edited it (again).

Alert: Story Integral Vote
(Story Integral Votes do more than decide what path your character will take. They shape the world around you into something else, and dictate the shape of the nightmare to come.)

[] [CHILDHOOD'S END] A
[] [CHILDHOOD'S END] B
[] [CHILDHOOD'S END] C
[] [CHILDHOOD'S END] D
undefined
This Vote is more than just the aesthetics of your ship waifu. It's also going to dictate what aesthetics it's builders built along.

So keep that in mind.

Dunno how I didn't notice this quest before

Like... its internals and stuff?

Walp, time to re-evaluate the vote. Can you give us a bit more about what that entails though?
it means if we choose A, builder ships and constructions in general will look flowy and pseudo-organic, whereas if we pick C builder stuff will trend toward utilitarian bricks. Same for the other two options.

(I'm really hoping C doesn't win.)

Lost, I'm not at all sorry to tell you this, flying bricks are sexy bitches.

...what's wrong with black paint?

I prefer white and sleek and/or utilitarian for my ancient progenitors most of the time. Makes them seem that much more grand, godly, and such. Black and angles usually just makes it seem like either bad guys or dedicated stealth ships which is something I'd prefer for specific classes rather than an entire fleet coloring scheme.

It's like the difference between the Forerunners and the modern Humans in Halo. If you applied black to the Forerunner color scheme in place of white, to me it just makes them too modern rather than ancient.

I personally prefer A and D, with A being my absolute favorite.

If Lost and Fusou didn't convince me to make this a vote, that would have been the go-to for Childhood.

B looks menacing and that is exactly the vibe I get from the description. So, you know, yeah.

I like D as well but it looks far too luxurious for me to consider it as anything military.
C is solid but lacks gravitas, the only thing it got going is thus only size.
I don't like A. I want a spaceship not a spacetube.
