DAMN IT! WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO BICE?! I'VE DONE EVERYTHING! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY HOURS I WASTED?!
*Sigh* I was about to do a super serious Let's Play series about WWII as Japan and all that. But you know what?
Screw it!
Let's have a cracky Let's Play of Their Finest Hour instead! Unlike you BICE, Vanilla and DLC never betrayed me. So I say, good day to you!
Let's get started! Who am I going to play as?
Japan of course! Why would I choose anything else?
Eh, I'm already a half Weab, why not go full Weab?
Always go full Weab.
Because I'm too much of a noob to play as anyone else. And I need an excuse to post Kancolle pictures.
Well, before we begin, do you guys want an extensive or a bare Tutorial? Because this game is pretty material heavy. And you guys might not understand a lot of parts...
Or, you also have the option not to! Tutorial are for noobs! You can dive straight in and figure out by yourself what the hell am I saying!
Or, given that Australia's probably going to be in the line of fire, not like I've never waged Great Holy Wars against Christianity in Crusader Kings II before.
What's that thing? because I (at one point) tried to get Black Ice installed but it never actually started up. Is this the same sort of thing as the LAA you have to do for Sins mods?

It's actually this file. For some people, it's actually needed to be able to play unmodded without constant crashing to desktop. Basically, you replace your hoi3_tfh.exe with the file in that zip file. And then use it.
There's a new emperor in town! And this one is not going to be a goddamn figure head. So listen here you fucking warmongers! This is my country and I am the goddamn leader. You will listen to me and follow my damn orders! Anyone who's doesn't improve himself will be kicked out faster than you can say 'Banzai'! Got it!?
*consecutive head nods with murmurings*
Well then, let's get started.
First things first. Give me a map.
Yes, Mami. The political one.
Uhu. So it seems we have Korea and Taiwan in our grasp. Good. Very good.
Next, diplomacy.
Hirota! Give me info on our diplomatic relations with others.
Manchukuo is our puppet? Excellent. And it looks like we are aligning ourselves to Germany for their Axis team. The new world order is imminent.
Okamura! The spies!
For now, stop sending spies outside. Focus on strengthening our nation first. Kill these goddamn rats in our home.
Hmmm...Tell me, do you have info on the Americans?
You do? Then tell me.
Sweet mother of Amaterasu. M-moving on...
From now on here is how we do things. We will use all of our leadership at one place at one time. So, until we have at least 10 free spies, we're going to focus on espionage. Then, diplomacy with at least 100 diplomacy points and 110% officers. after everything else is settled, we will focus everything on researching.
(I was going to show you guys what I'm researching but there was too many. I'll just screenshot the ones that are done.)
Onward to production!
What the hell guys? Why do we need so much upgrade? What do our soldiers have? Popguns?
*sigh* Put that at the top of the priority list.
*Sits back on throne*
Let me have a moment of peace. I really have my work cut out for me..

Let me have a moment of peace. I really have my work cut out for me..
If I remember, the 1st conflict that Japan has was against China.
The conflict would be helpful to gain experience for the troops and some good generals. Not to mention it will reduce the amount of consumer goods we need to produce.
We're going to need all the advantage we have against the coffee drinkers and their industrial capacity might.
I need to start it ASAP. China has resources that Japan itself doesn't have. Not to mention China has another path to attack Burma from the North.
However, Japan's relation with the USA and Britain will suffer. I have to be careful not to make Nihon join WWII too soon.
For now, let's look at the border,
WHAT THE HELL? JUST THIS MUCH? WHERE ARE ALL MY TROOPS?!
Oh, there they are.
... who the fuck put them there? There's only one road that we can go through. So why the hell did you put them there at the borders? We can't even go through those places because of the damn infrastructure!
GODDAMIT KANIN! You had one job! Put them at the goddamn Chinese border.
Don't worry, Manchukuo can defend itself. *lies*
Now, the navy.
We're going to restructure EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. So, you guys can rebase to Nagoya.
Here's my plan.
Carrier division:
3 Carriers (CV)
6 Light Cruisers (CL)
Battleship division:
3 Battleships (BB)
6 Destroyers (DD)
Submarine Division:
4 Submarines
Everything else,
3 Capitals, which are, BattleCruisers(BC) and Heavy cruisers(CA) and Escort Carriers(CVE)
6 Escorts(Any other remaining DDs or CLs)
For the airforce,
Simply,
Division Air Rules:
-Only 1 type
-Only 4 of them
The same reason as the navy, but in Osaka instead of Nagoya.
Now that's all done. Let's build some troops.
I know that China has mostly hills and mountains and I need Mountain infantry but I'm going to build them later. Because as soon as the Sino-Japan War is over, I only need like 1 or 2 Division of them for the attack on Burma. And that's it. Anywhere else, I'm going to need marines and normal infantry.
I'm also going to skimp out on Tank. Because I'm going to need to more oil and fuel to my air force and navy. And tanks don't work well in mountains, forests and amphibious assaults.
Now, the navy,
For now, I can build only Soryuu-class Carriers. So here's the plan, every time a set of research for aircraft carriers are done I'm going to build 2 at the same time.
Rejoice Soryuu and Hiryuu! You're being born!
Wait a minute...
Akagi and Kaga are Soryuu-class carriers?!
EVEN RYUJO?! I thought she's a CVL?
Stop breaking the damn game Ryujo!
...Oh well, better for me. Funnily enough, the one who's suppose to lead the class hasn't even born yet. Is this one of 'the big sister is the little one' scenario?
How about our battleship?
The Kii-class? What's that?
The Kii-class battleship was a planned class of four fast battleships to be built for the IJN during the 1920s. Only two of the ships received names. They were intended to reinforce Japan's "eight-eight fleet" of eight battleships and eight battlecruisers after the United States announced a major naval construction program in 1919. However, after the signing of the Washington Naval treaty in 1922, work on the ships was suspended; one pair was cancelled in November 1923 and the other in April 1924.
Huh, so basically, they're better than the Nagato-class? I'll take two of them!
About the battlecruisers, I'm not going to build any. Sorry Kongo, you're not going to have any more sisters.
On the side of Escort carriers, we have,
SISTERS FOR EVERYONE! You get 2 sisters Zuiho! Celebrations!
...I thought she's a CVL, not a CVE? And where's my CVL build option?
Goddamit Paradox.
Like the battlecruiser, I'm not going to touch build or research anything for Heavy cruisers. Sorry Nachi.
Now, for my CV escorts,
I'm going to need 6 of them. For, you know, escort stuff.
(I actually ordered in 2 serial of 3 parallels. Didn't realize that I did it wrong till the end )
How's my primary schools kidsmiddle schools teens Destroyers?
Why, hello there miss MC.
Here, have 6 more little sisters to your never ending amount of siblings. Have fun!
How's my convoy raiders?
4 more!
Here's the reason why I'm not going to touch BC and CA. It's because I really don't have a use for them.
A CL is faster, so they can keep up with the carriers, and can fight submarine better than a CA. And they can do escort duties. A CA,meanwhile, is kind of....average in their stats. It's a jack of all trades but master of none. It doesn't help that they're capital ships.
A BB is better than a BC in every way. Simple. And I really don't have fuel to spare for convoy raiding by BCs when my SSs can do it better and more efficient.
For the Div composition i'd heavily recommend that you have two main brigade of whatever the division is be it INF,MNT,MOT,MAR. then just put 1 ART and 1 AT brigade.
kicking Hirota's ass off the seat as Foreign Minister. He's only redeeming trait is Susceptibility to the Axis. I don't need that because I'm going to join them sooner or later. Arita, meanwhile, makes it easier for the Control Clique party to gain more popularity. Which I need to lose the Fractured Goverment debuff on National Unity.
Welcome to club Arita! For your present,
You can do alll~ the trading stuff. Be careful not to have too much fun!
Okay, what's next?
Ooohh! New laws!
Yeah, forgot about that...never mind then...
I'm going to let time flow now. there's really nothing else to do.
Welcome to Pop Up Simulator: Paradox Edition.
(Yes, I know how to turn it off)
Okay then, time to work.
*When reorganizing*
Kongo is the pride of the fleet? How is Kongo, a WWI Battlecruiser, became the pride of the fleet?
Why are you looking so goddamn proud about?
'Note to self, look out for Ryujo and Kongo. They have honest-to-god, hacking powers.'
After a period of reorganization that I'll spare you the boredom of,
Fly! Fly, my pretties!
Now that's done, let's see what our industry is doing.
Aaaaand, we're off with a left foot. Then falling into a drain, while raining. How wonderful.
I forgot to check the soldiers on the border of China. I'm sure they are well equippe-
...I spoke too soon. I shit you not. All I have at the border are infantry. Not a single Division had artillery. Not a one!
I'm going to kick Kanin out the 1st second I have a better replacement.
Now, i have to put in more on my already full production queue.
*Puts sand timer on upright position*
GODDAMIT OKAMURA! Why are our agents getting caught faster than I can send them?
...shit, the tea drinkers are influencing the South Africans. Well then, add them to our List of Conquest Liberation
List of Conquest Liberation:
China
Burma
Malaya
Borneo
Sumatra
Java
Philippines
Sulawesi
Moluccas Islands
Australia
India
Midway
Guam
Wake
Midway
Johnston
Solomon Islands
Hawaii
New Zealand
Everything Else in the Pacific.
Sri Lanka
India
USSR
Do you think the list is too big? Yeah, too small, I agree. We shall add more! But later.
For now, we wait.
*One week later*
That's enough spies for now. Arita, your turn.
I still don't understand why I need points for diplomacy. I mean, Espionage makes more spies, research team, well, research and the officers...increase the amount of Officers. But why diplomacy? I mean, does our diplomat die every time they send a letter? What if we need 5 diplomacy points? Do they just suddenly combust when telling the receiver?
*10 days later*
I'm pretty sure we have enough to last for 5 years in the diplomacy section. Time to recruit new officers I suppose.
Yes! We have enough money to enforce this law. DO IT!
We can do 2 new laws? Hell yeah!
(Yeah, nothing exciting happened this month, or this year to be exact. Just lots of preparation and reorganization. I'll try to make an update of 2 months in game in 1 post next time to speed things up)
