[9] Your Host should join. Protection, potential synergy between powers, Allies fighting your battles with you, lots of reasons to join. Plus, being part of a group helps protect your assets, like a Host's Family, which are often important to Hosts despite having little strategic value.
[6] Suggest our host learn about sciences to use powers more effectively.
[2] You host shouldn't join. You and your Host are tough enough to survive on your own, and not being part of a group means greater freedom in your actions. There are few assets your Host can not just create, and if anyone dares to threaten the few limited assets your Host can scour them and theirs from existence.
-[1] You don't need some organization of Hosts to teach your Host how to use powers. You can teach the Host how to use her powers!

I am surprised at the sheer amount of people that want Taylor to join the PRT. Normally I always see people against it.

It's the different viewpoint. For Taylor it's probably a raw deal (depending on exact details and variations from canon), but for the shards it is a very interesting environment with conflict and a lot of power interactions. You could actually make an argument that the PRT is as it is for the shard's benefit, not 'human society'.

People, please! We're not Taylor, we're Queenie! How could we possibly allow other Hosts to regularly influence ours? They'll give her crazy, ridiculous ideas, like equivalent response and responsible power use *involuntary shudder*

Why... That could be construed as... helpful!

Because Taylor's frustrating with authority and teenage drama is good source of conflict.

As I see it Wards means less live-and-death situations where only Taylors own decisions and creativity with her powers can save her live.
So I'm against it.

The BB Wards are a bit better than most Ward-teams, because they can't keep them out of the more dangerous fights as they do in cities with a better situation, but it would still lower the risks to Taylors life.

Taylor is OUR Host. She shouldn't be obeying other Hosts, much less baselines.

If she wishes to ally with other Hosts, they should be led by her, not the inverse.

I am against joining as well for these reasons.

We do not play from the perspective of someone responsible.
We play from the perspective of someone possesive of whats its.

Protect Taylor!
