Growing Pains [DBZ/DC]

Green Arrow's one of the few heroes who might actually sympathize with an opponent sticking to an egalitarian point of view. Though he's deeply hypocritical at times, he's supposedly anti-fascist and should know better than to assault someone because she defies his self-appointed unelected authority. Unlike your average Crime Goon (tm), Califa is entirely above board here and may very well hand what's left of them over to the cops.

I wonder if he'll muse over this and feel sheepish while he's convalescing. He might have a long time to think about it, depending on how good Califa has gotten at being gentle.

Either TotallyNot!Luthor is going to be utterly embarrassed by the fact that the fight-happy, ADHD Monkey Girl saw through his attempts to hide his identity or TotallyNot!Luthor actually is totally not Luthor and Califla's assumptions are going to be the source of shenanigans. I can't decide which I want more.

"Then nope. Can't let you investigate private property without a warrant." I smirked.

Speedy groaned and Green Arrow looked flabbergasted that I was stopping them.

"Wha? – Come on, kid. We're heroes!"
Thank you! This story just lampshaded what is one of my headcanon reasons why the smarter villains keep getting out of prison. Because in any society that guarantees civil rights, evidence gathered by vigilantes is almost always going to get tossed out by the courts.

If I join your Patreon can I vote what gets focused on because I want more of this
Sorry, but nope.
My patreon is basically a tip jar where the members get to see a chapter a day or two early.
I thought about doing something like that but A) couldn't figure out how to set up voting in the ten minutes I tried before getting frustrated and B) this is my relaxing hobby. I don't want to wind up making this another job, as cool as that would be.

...well now I'm not sure which one I want it to be either.

It's one of the edgiest things ever. Like, a one shot or two would have been fine. But they made an entire series about how a CrAzY Batman who has infinite prep time is a menace above everything else.

The idiot who thought making a crossover with a dark universe full of bad fanfiction ideas should be a long story arc should get fired.

Like if it was like twelve comics max and the thing is never used again? Fine. But DC Comics honesty has a problem of crossover ideas lasting way way way too long.

Califa is just doing her job (along with enjoying herself with new fights and challenges) and is getting paid.

Also I have a feeling that Luthor and Cadmus would want to get a DNA sample from her and try create a Saiyan-human hybrid clone like they did with Galatea who's the Kryptonian-human clone from Supergirl.

It would probably be easy to convince Califa that her blood sample will be taken and analyzed "to make sure she's not affected by Earth's microorganisms and bacteria during her long stay".

Or if she is aware and allowed it, she would want a fight from her own clone as a sparring partner.
