As said in Harry Potter, hearing voices no one else can hear even in the strangest of places is not good. Hearing them seems like we might be driven crazy like the Butcher. Shards will most likely just pressure Greg to do whatever they want.

[X]Meet the Ward

Getting human interaction after will be good for Greg.

[X] Meet the Wards

So begins our long journey of fighting the PR team to let us carry something.

"Here is my laser rifle."
"How low does the power on that go?"
"It goes all the way down to 'you might live'."
"Denied."

You are right, and if it was me in his position I wouldn't like to hear them. However, this is a quest and I want spicy stuff. Greg being interested in them will make his cape journey more interesting.
Edit: Also meeting the ward is done to death, if possible I want to avoid that scene.

With the way these votes are going, I do not see good things happening. Being in MS protocols will be the least of our worries.

Day 6
[X] They are Interesting

You listen hard in your cell hearing the glimpses of the alien voices from distant machines, you find it intriguing. Despite your visceral reaction to them, they have an allure that draws you closer. You again try to say one of the alien words it doesn't work but you want to know more about them. You fall asleep in your cot dreaming of alien worlds and distant stars.

When you are awoken you are taken down to the interview room and then asked a thousand completely random questions. At first, you just answer what is your favorite ice cream and color. But by the time the question comes up for the sixth time you are bored and not really interested in the questions anymore. "Can we do anything else?" The woman on the other side of the table looked up from her tablet.

"What would you suggest? This is an important test." You look around shifting from side to side.

"But it's boring." You resist the urge to pout and the woman sighs.

"We should have enough data points for now but if you join the wards it's going to be important for you to be able to do tests and training like this for long periods of time." You shudder at the thought. "We have some more power testing we can do though."

[X]Test the Whispers

Finally you are before a workbench with many little devices of varying complexity. The man in the lab coat looks at you and smiles.

"Now please attempt to get as many of the machines as possible to react in any obvious way." You frown and look between the machines and the researchers.

Half the machines on the table are too primitive lacking enough parts for your abilities to make them think, or just lacking the complexity to have a mind of there own. So you ignore them. Then you consider the rest a single command? There were at least 50 and only a few were the same as any other. Ring would get all the phones and clocks going. Not the microwave, toaster, or their ilk.

Hmm you listen to the whispers and take a deep breath moving over then you say a single word. "Panic." Your voice echoes slightly metallic as you speak in the way of machines the table comes to like the phones make ringing, the toaster pops up and down, the microwave turns on, the projector flashes red and yellow light on the wall.

Then you take another breath in the chaos. "Calm." Most of the machines stop instantly though the projector keeps sending out red light with gumbles about you being so odd. The researchers take their notes.

By the time you return to your cell you are given paperwork and told because of your situation you do not need to get a parent or guardian to sign off on your wards membership.

They go over the benifits and how many resources and tools you would have access to.

I would like to negotiate to not having to do patrols until atleast reliable convincing replacement legs.
And maybe something about being able to listin into other tinkertech with supervision. (Since we had a really bad reaction to it, i would like some professionals on standby. But since its such w obvious weakness it must be trained.)

-[] Try to Haggle (What?): Patrol exemption. Just to give some to figure out our Leg Situation. The ideas are there, but we'll need time to get something nice. Also make sure you can get some scheduled time with tinker-tech and proper supervision to try to grow more resilient to it in a safe environment.

Wanting to make sure we can actually improve that. I believe they would let us anyways but i dont know if they would actually do it out of safety concerns or something.

Could we request housing? While OOC we know we live with nazis a IC explanation would be that we don't want to live people we barely know and risk getting outed.

Got the Ward write-in organized. Personal, I think the supervision thing is unnecessary, but it feels like a reasonable concession to play with 'alien,' voices. I have also, went with Digital Comrades and The Dragon. One, to speak with people Greg might know, and the other because it's about our Mother( and also because we said we were looking for info earlier). Also, because it said there's no risk which is usually considering the tone of the flavor text.

I really don't think we are ready to go after the Dragon yet and we really need to fix our legs and physical situation so that we can get our 1 action point back.

[X]Plan Finishing our Legs

Only other thing I might want would be to attempt ot get housing, because in character greg actually seems really uncomfortable with them.(however it could be good future plot point/device if done right in the future)
