Grand Theft Yeddim[exalted]

In this case I don't think it will, as:
a) In this case the winning option doesn't seem to be unfortunate.
b) Even if it was unfortunate, given that this is somewhat of a joke quest, it would likely still fulfil its purpose of being entertaining and cathartic.
Fair enough.
Just checked anyways and as far as I can tell there's also only a single option with more than one vote behind it.

Fine changing to this.

Rearranging the order a bit for my vote. It looks like there's a strong desire to play a more social-style character, so that means Fiend or Malefactor. I went with the Ebon Dragon, partly because I haven't seen very many Fiends not portrayed as jackasses, but also because outside of her wish-granting suite Cecelyne's Charms are kind of weak. Especially her social influence stuff, which leaves you hideously open when dealing with anyone of higher Essence.

There needs to be a combat backup, and Adorjan is probably more fitting with what people want than Malfeas is. Especially since Adorjan does allow the use of ranged weapons, they just have to be in melee range. So you can dip in and apply some of the nasty Ebon Dragon ranged enhancers on top of Adorjan Charms. I do not want her giving an Urge because Adorjani Urges are inherently destructive and kind of crazy. They lend themselves to playing characters who are unbalanced. I would prefer to use destruction in the purpose of building something new, rather than just tearing everything down because "lol attachments are bad death is freedom."

The Cecelyne Urge tends to be in the vein of "gather resources and build infrastructure," which is a lot easier to fold into a constructive Motivation. So that's why I selected that. And again, her Charms, especially combat Charms, are very very weak. And the Ebon Dragon doesn't really have a full combat Charm suite either. So doubling up on them is going to create a character whose ability to contribute to combat is rather limited to enhanced arrow attacks because if Dawn McHero gets in melee range he's going to splatter said character all over the place.

Hmm. Good reasoning all. Changing my vote to Cavalier's.

We... need better name choices. The problem is that names are inevitably wrapped up in all the other aspects of a character's background. Where are they from? Who is their family? What is culturally appropriate for their homeland? For assumed names, what is their personality like and why did they choose that name?

So we should probably also think about some kind of backstory before just arbitrarily taking some joke-name.

How about Undefeated Moonsilver Blood Killer or Day Starfall Killer for names?

I would prefer to postpone deciding on the name until we actually answer some of those questions on background. That said, neither of those are particularly appropriate for a Fiend favoring Adorjan who probably prefers to kill swiftly and silently in the dead of night.

Given we're playing Grand Theft Yeddim, why do you think we're not going to be a jackass?

That's going to wipe over your original vote (I use a votecounter to make sure I don't get dupes, I just don't filter for subvotes).

So I think votes are currently (including Crawling Chaos's):
Caste: Malfeas 2, Cecelyne 3, SWLIHN 0, Adorjan 5, TED 11
Favored: Malfeas 0, Cecelyne 8, SWLIHN 1, Adorjan 8, TED 2, Kimbery 2
Urge: Malfeas 1, Cecelyne 9, Adorjan 5, TED 2, Kimbery 4
