It all began in China, Qingqing City.
There was news that a baby that gave off light was born.
Ever since then, superpowers were discovered around the world, and time passed without the cause being identified. Before we knew it, the supernatural became natural, and dreams became reality. The world has become a superhuman society, and about 80% of the world's population now has some kind of special trait. In this world swirling with chaos, the profession that everyone once dreamed about and admired came into the limelight.
That profession is....

...your goal.

Why else would you be here, in the hallowed halls of U.A. Academy, than to train to become one of the next generation of Heroes?
But for now, you are simply a student, an "egg" of potential, waiting to hatch into a true hero! You are Class 1-A of the Hero Course!

The path to your dream will surely be long and fraught with hardship! Many challenges await you, both small and large, but you will surely overcome them all!

Because, that is what it means to...

Go Beyond!
PLUS ULTRA!
+------------------------------------------------------+

Go Beyond! is a freeform RP, set in the world of My Hero Academia. Here, you will battle villains, rivals, and learn what it really means to be a Pro Hero. It is a world of superheroes, villains, and the legacies they leave behind. I'm looking for around eight players max, and there's a twist to character creation this time. Further details are provided below. Sheets are not first come, first served - so take your time and think out a unique quirk and character concept. We won't be starting for some time, so there's no rush!

Knowledge of My Hero Academia is not a requirement here - we're all original characters and plotlines, with a few familiar faces popping up! If you have any questions, I or another player will be happy to answer them.

The rules are as follows:

1. Standard site regulations are in effect.
2. No God-modding/taking control of another person's character.
3. As a freeform RP, it is important to communicate with another player when you're attempting to fight them. If you wish to fight another player, discuss it with them in PMs and be sure to invite the GM as well. In extreme cases, dice may be used.
4. If you intend to leave the RP, be sure to notify the GM so that we can work out a way to have your character leave the stage.
5. Keep things civil.
6. Character sheet rules are detailed below.
7. Some basic writing skills are expected of you. Try to keep things coherent.
9. There is a soft limit of eight players at the moment; this may be adjusted depending on how difficult or easy it is to run this RP.
10. There are nebulous individuals helping me run this RP from the shadows. They will be looking over your sheets in addition to myself, and they will be participating in the RP to an extent. They do not count against the Player Limit, however.

Requirements for your sheet are listed below - but before that, I'd like to explain the goal of the Undercover system. Undercover isn't meant to be something only for disguised villains or whatever - if you have something about your Quirk or past that you'd rather keep quiet, you can still mark that as 'Undercover' to hide it from your 'public' sheet.

Now for the main gimmick of this RP: Your Quirk is randomized. You don't get to chose the powers you're born with, after all! The process is as such:
  1. Click The Button. This will take you to a random page on the Superpower Wiki.
  2. If the page you landed on was a category or list, or an "almighty" power, reroll by hitting The Button again. If not go to step 3.
  3. This is the page that will serve as the basis of your Quirk. You're allowed a fair bit of creative freedom in what precise form your Quirk takes, but this is the grain of sand in the center of the pearl, so to speak.
Some additional notes:
  • In the event that you absolutely cannot think of anything to go with the result you rolled, you may request a reroll. You may only do this once, however.
  • Some page results may provide you the opportunity for a free reroll, as they may be inherently problematic and will thus be judged to a higher standard.
  • I require record of all rolls you make, including automatic rerolls. It doesn't need to be on your character sheet, but it does need to be in the PM you submit your character with.
  • You do not need to publicly announce your rolls results.
Sheets will be submitted via PM, but you can also post a 'public' sheet by removing all Undercover information. Information on your public sheet Is stuff anyone could find out if they did some digging - undercover information is stuff you're doing your best to hide.

(Note: The 'Undercover' tag can be used to indicate characters with a hidden agenda. Undercover entries are omitted from your public sheet until you are outed.)

Name: (Please indicate which name order you're using in some way.)
Power Base: (Link to the page used as the basis for your quirk. The Undercover tag is applicable to hide this section.)
Appearance:
Costume: (You can have a single upgrade initially. All costumes are made to the user's specification, but typically incorporate light armor resistant to slashing and piercing. Heavier armor counts as an upgrade. Undercover characters can have two costumes, but still receive only one upgrade.)
Quirk: (Name and description. If your Quirk has some unsavory aspect or hidden weakness, you can use the Undercover tag here.)
Skills: (Notable skills useful to a hero. Stuff like 'Martial Artist' and 'Master Detective' rather than 'talented singer' and 'master hairdresser'. Unless, of course, your Quirk benefits from those skills. The Undercover tag can be used here as well.)
Bio: (Your character's backstory. Undercover tag applicable.)

Note: Costume Upgrades can be stuff like heavy armor, a specialized tool for your quirk, various gadgets, and so on. Something like power armor, however, is the domain of Pro Heroes who can use their money and contacts to fund development. Your Costume augments your Quirk and Skills - it does not replace them.

Cast List
@The3rdCorinthian - Beautiful Cinnamon Roll Too Good For This World, Too Pure
Name: Takeshi Matsuda
Power Base: Gas Infusion

Appearance:

Costume: The palms of the suit have a hidden igniter, and are themselves fireproof, allowing for Takeshi to quickly ignite anything he can get his hands on if he needs to
(Appearance: Methane Blue Jumpsuit with orange lines and Visor. Palms are also coloured a red-orange.)

Quirk: "Hot Air": After inhaling, Takeshi can breathe out a flammable gas through the pores of his skin, which can infuse itself into whatever he touches. He can use this to in turn make the object flammable to varying degrees and ways depending on How he breathes and how deeply: A sharp outwards Exhale makes an object more explosive while holding onto it and breathing regularly allows him to keep the flames consistent (think of a Bunsen Burner). Using this quirk at too high a level (I.e. A deep breath in and out) too quickly in succession leads to him feeling extremely light headed. Controlling his breathing is key to making sure he doesn't waste stamina by deliberately hyperventilating

Skills:

Akido proficiency: Takeshi is highly proficient at Akido, a soft martial art. Takeshi excels in redirecting attacks away from him with minimal force, which helps him to fight without wasting his breath. It also helps him to subjugate opponents without bringing excessive harm to them.

Throwing Arm: Takeshi has spent a lot of time playing baseball. As a result, Takeshi has an excellent aim when throwing an object with his hands, and can launch on target fastballs fairly accutately at medium range. He also has a fairly good eye for judging throwing arcs in general.

Ingenuity: Takeshi spends a lot of time 'spacing out' trying to think of better ways to use his quirk or times when he might not be able to use it, among other things. This means that when actually in combat, he can quickly use what tools he does have at his disposal effectively in order to come up with a plan.

Breathing control: Takeshi has spent hours trying to improve on his breathing rhythym, spending large portions of time exercising and running in order to be able to keep his beathing as light as possible when in physically demanding situations. As a result, he can keep his breathing at a fairly normal level even when undergoing combat or other periods of high activity.

Bio: Takeshi's desire to be a hero didn't really come from him, but from his father.

It would be safe to say that Takeshi's father was a hero fanatic. While the man had never felt that he could be anything like the great protectors of the peace, almost everything in his life (Aside from his family) revolved around them. His hobby was reading and watching hero clips and looking over the fights, and he'd taken up a job in the police force just to get a little closer to heroes on the streets. While certainly odd, there was a genuine, childlike exuberance about the way his face shone whenever reading the latest hero stories. While Takeshi's interest was less extreme than his fathers, with him also enjoying sports and reading, he couldn't help but want to do something that made people smile in the same way. That was what he admired about heroes: simply by hearing about their deeds even without experiencing them, people's faces would light up with awe and Joy. So, Takeshi decided to become a hero, someone who brought happiness to other people.

However, it's not like you can just decide to be a hero and leave it at that. Takeshi spent his hours after school quietly pushing his quirk to see how far it would go. He took up Akido - A martial art he specifically chose because of it's focus on the wellbeing of the opponent as much as the safety of the user. He began taking long periods of time long distance running, in order to regulate his breathing when using his quirk, and began training what he could do with it. He considered 'What If' scenarios, and tried to figure out ways that he could get out of them. The downside was that it ended up meaning that Takeshi didn't have much of a social life. He just didn't have the time for going out with other people, something that he ended up regretting.

Still, when Takeshi's dad found out that his son had gotten accepted to U-Freaking-A, the look on his face was one of pure joy, and the bone-crushing hug he swept him into, were more than worth every second he'd spent trying out for it. Even if he was only starting out, Takeshi was already the hero he dreamed of being for one person at least.

Takeshi Is considerably more mellow than his father. Actually, he's more mellow than a lot of people. While generally fairly talkative, He does occasionally just lapse into periods where he spaces out, and while he will still be listening to the conversation, will only join back in again if directly asked something. He barely talks at all in combat, partly to focus on his breathing for his quirk, partly in order to try and plan ahead, and partly because he is very well aware that talking is not, in fact a free action. All in all, he's someone who is quietly upbeat, not at the foreground of any social situation, but who nevertheless tries to keep peoples spirits up, in keeping with the kind of hero he wants to be.

@Generic_Generica - Something something Portal reference
Name: Haru Shirai

Power Base: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Wormhole_Creation

Appearance:

Costume:

White longcoat, lightly armored. Black leggings, shirt, boots. Fingerless gloves too.

Basically something similar to this:
Upgrade: Digital mapping device built into his right sleeve that allows him to calculate any position on Earth relative to his own position.

Quirk: Rift

Haru's fingernails are able to rip a hole in the fabric of space and time in order to create a pair of wormholes. This quirk must be activated in order for Haru to create wormholes. Random swipes at the air while his quirk is deactivated or erased won't do anything.

Haru can close wormholes at will.

Due to the nature of Haru's quirk one of the wormholes will always be within arm's reach. The range of the other wormhole is unlimited. However, in order to create a pair of wormholes that exit at a point beyond line of sight, Haru needs to know the longitude, latitude and elevation of the point in question. These coordinates are relative to Haru.

Finally, as a side-effect of Haru's quirk, his fingernails appear metallic and they're incredibly hard and sharp. He's able to scratch steel with them.
Wormhole Mechanics: [REDACTED]
Drawbacks: [REDACTED]

Skills:
- Engineer: Haru's able to make modifications to his hero costume or build other things if he has the requisite supplies.
- First-aid: Haru's also capable of administering basic medical assistance if he has the requisite supplies.

Bio:

Background: [REDACTED]

Personality:

Haru's a laidback, calm kid. He almost seems too passive at times, creepily so, like some kind of introverted machine that doesn't really care about anything up to and including his own condition.

When it comes to his passions, Haru becomes intense. Creepily so, in an obsessive sort of way. These passions include tinkering, quirk experimentation and hero-work among other things.

This obsessive streak is eerily similar to his mother's obsessive streak.

Motivations:
Haru's obsession with hero work was born from a whim. When he was asked what he wanted to be when he grew up as a boy, his answer was immediate.

"I might become a hero." He'd reply.

"But why?" His friends would ask.

"It looks fun." He'd reply.

It was childish desire which gave birth to that idea. At first he thought that playing the hero was just a passing interest of his. It looked fun and he could use it to kill some time.

As he started researching heroes he became more obsessed with the idea of a hero. He started asking questions, wondering at motivations and why anyone would think that helping others is the coolest thing a person could do.

When he entered middle school he realized that the idea of becoming a hero had brought fulfillment to his life he could not have otherwise had. The initial childish whim had blossomed into something real. Instead of nonchalantly saying, "Sure I might become a hero," he'd started saying "I will become a hero," with real conviction in his voice.

He started to understand just how being able to help others is one of the coolest things anyone can do. That, coupled with his obsessive personality when it comes to the things he's genuinely interested in, propelled him further on the path to becoming a hero.

And that's how someone uninterested in the idea of a hero became someone who's put real thought into becoming a hero..

@Space Multiply - Ivan Ooze
Name: Yu Daradara

Power Base: Oil Attacks

Favourite Hero: [Undercover], Edge Shot

Appearance:

A bookish looking guy, way buff for his age. His posture leaves something to be desired, making the 1.8 meter tall teenager seem much smaller than he actually is.

His hands are charred black, which led him to wear gloves until fairly recently. He has auburn colored hair, but his big sister dyed it reddish-pink as an April Fools joke. He didn't mind to much, and so didn't go through the bother of getting it cleared out.

He intentionally styles his hair to look messy as a way of standing out, but isn't daring enough to diverge from the fairly conservative clothing choices he has. His work clothes are far less kept. When in work mode, he actually dresses a lot more openly, baring his midriff for the world to see! Those garments are faded, torn, and pretty much falling apart at the seams.

He wears a white scarf during hero work.

Costume: : A cool looking set of yellow and red armor, built with spray launchers on his hands to more accurately aim his oil. They also come with an ignition function to give him just the bit of kick he needs to catch fire.

Quirk:

Corruption Engine - Oil burst from your body, spilling out your mouth, eyes, and ears in a disgusting spray. You repress the urge to leak at all times, although it is difficult. You can't do much with the oil that comes from your body. However, through means that may or may not have been legal in nature, you have discovered that by drowning in a giant pool of crude oil, you can become a massive, disgusting monster of the black stuff. Unfortunately, it also makes you go insane, so it's not really your go-to option. Overdosing on oil in a more..controlled manner does in fact give you a power boost, and upgrades your physical parameters. It only works temporarily, but that can mean all the difference.

Weaknesses:

Stay Calm - If Yu becomes panicked, his oil has a chance of bursting out his orifices. Doesn't really leave a good impression.

False Lighter - He has no natural ability to set himself or his oil on fire. It's a tragedy.

Flammable - While an oil monster on fire is absolutely terrifying, flames cause him pain, and make it harder for his physical form to stick together.

Skills:

Ripped: Like a certain greenie, his body has been forged in the fires of thousand hour workouts. His strength is nothing to sneeze at.

[Undercover]

Balance: Or as some people like to call it, controlled tripping. He's learned how to traverse his own oil slides without landing on his face after a whole lot of practice, and can apply this skill to keep steady during other dangerous situations. Tight roping isn't such an insurmountable feat for him, and he walks with grace no matter what is going on.

[Undercover Skill]

Emotional Control: Yu has a very firm grip on his emotions, and is very hard to goad, insult, or threaten him.

[Undercover Skill]

[Undercover Skill]

Attractive: Believe him, it's a skill. This has opened doors for him that otherwise would have been kept closed, and as long as he puts in the effort to maintain his appearance, he could be a very popular hero in the future.

Bio: Yu, or 'Mai' as most of his friends teasingly call him, is the second child and only son of Eto and Aquila Daradara, a commission artist and auto mechanic respectively.

Since he was a little kid he had always been his older sister Rin's biggest fan. He met a lot of his best friends from playdates she organized for him, and saw a lot of the city because of her nomadic nature. Their parents were well meaning, but being sheltered was no way to live, or so Rin taught him.

They were getting ice cream cookies from 7-Eleven when some randy with a stronger than average power decided it was a good idea to rob the place. He was drunk out of his mind, but that just made him more likely to not consider consequence and seriously hurt someone. Rin told him to hide behind the counter, walked up to the man made of steel, and turned him into a sapient scrap heap.

No matter how strong she got, he'll be there nipping at her heels, ready to pick her up.

He did well enough in school. Not because of any particular genius, just good old perseverance did the trick. Success was 99% perspiration, and 1% inspiration, as the saying went.

He was swept up the grandeur of heroes like any other kid. Everyone wanted to be a superhero, and it wasn't that hard to understand why.
Rin did to, When he was eight years old, she left home and enrolled in U.A.

Now she was [Undercover].

Mom and Dad were so proud. Everyone and their dog came over to his house to celebrate. He was happy for her. She was going to be a great hero!

The next few months saw him in a slump. His insecurities flared with every passing progress report of Rin_s progress. She was so cool. So strong. One of the greats in their family line who'd have a giant tombstone set up when she died and have their descendants bragging that yes, they were related to pro hero [Undercover]. When Mom told him that after he confessed his fears to her, he laughed.

Five years later, he went to the beach with his little sister Maki and a few of their friends, just to soak up some sun and have some fun. Half a decade ago, he was terrified of not living up to the standards Rin had set. While he still hadn't decided whether he would try to be a hero or not, he had done his own things. He...learned how to deal with himself better.

He could be cool and strong to.
_______________________________________________________________________________________]

Out at sea, modern day pirates had boarded an oil tanker, engaging in melee with the ship's guards and incoming heroes. It still wasn't known who had pierced through the ship.

It didn't matter that much anyway. The water turned black. Off in the horizon, he knew that something serious had happened. That people needed help.

He couldn't do a thing about it.

At night, he came back to that beach, alone. No one had been brought in yet to clear the oil out. Maybe there was no one available to do so? If something hadn't already come, than what could he, in his dingy little kayak, do? He had to try at least. He had to do something to put his mind at rest.

The area around him was opaque, having half believe he could fall in and completely disappear. He tried to separate oil from water, and only succeeded in staining his swimming trunks with pitch.

He lashed out. The oil coiled, constricted, and spouted. His dingy little boat rocked with every outburst, and he didn't realize what he was doing until it tipped over.

This was his thing. His domain. His Quirk. He was going to live up to it, or die trying.

Dying would be preferable to giving up.
_______________________________________________________________

Even in his insane super form, once [Undercover] found out about the mass destruction her little brother was causing, she took the first plane back, dropped down into the city right in front of him, and kicked his aqueous ass.

He almost beat her.

Obviously there were repercussions to his coastal rampage. Some time in...prison (which was completely horrible) and thousands of hours of volunteer worked apparently made him clean enough to apply to U.A.

@Andelevion - Guess her favorite color
Name: Nasake, Nawa (情け縄) (sympathy and rope)
Alias: "Pinky Promise"
Power Base: Heart Link

Appearance: This 15-year-old girl has magenta eyes, a rosy complexion (literally), and fluffy dark red hair half done up in a short side ponytail with the rest hanging loose to her waist. She has a forehead heart that glows in the dark.

Costume:
Fortified bodysuit with flashy neon stripes, She had her finger-less gloves fortified to provide to best support for her pinkies, and had the designers implement a sub-control system so that she could forcibly bend and break them to aim at specific angles in case she would be immobilized. The suit has compartments and cushioning in the calves to better absorb impact and the shoes are specialized for her kind of heavy activity as well.

Quirk:
Destined Connection: Nawa can target people within her line of sight by pointing her pinkies at them, creating a thread that seems to tie around their pinkies! They are intangible to anyone besides Nawa but visible to all!

Using one pinky, she gets low level connections, which allow her to keep tabs on the person's location and get pings whenever they have a spike in emotion. Using both pinkies, she can obtain higher level connections, which allows her to monitor of the other person's location, emotions, and state of being.

In addition if she physically touches somebody with her pinkies, she can make a super thin practically invisible connection with them that only allows her to get the barest direction they're in. Like, that person's somewhere in that direction in relation to her? Something like that. Its super weak capabilities keep the connection thin, keeping visibility down! An unintended side-effect! But stealthy!

In theory, there are no limits to the number of connections Nawa can make, but in practice, the more connections she makes and the stronger they get, the more Nawa's emotional capacity drains. When it becomes too much, Emotional Overload can occur, where she overdoses on the strongest feedback emotion and her behavior switch gets flipped for an hour straight.

Skills:

Multitasking: Keeping track of all those links can be a doozy, but she's experienced enough to manage to keep a good overview of her connections, without being overly distracted with things outside her head. Things are obviously easier if she concentrates, but she can put up a good show physically.

Parkour :V : In general, she relies on her physical abilities to get her wherever she wants to go, since she doesn't have the benefit of superhuman physiology or a beneficial Quirk. She's technically trained to the point that she can afford to do all the cool flips while using her surroundings to her benefit.

Amateur Therapist
: Oh, well Nawa will try. She'll try. Whether or not this works is pretty much dependent on how simple your problems are. She does have a bit of an advantage in her emotion monitoring, but she also operates on asking a lot of intrusive questions that are totally insensitive. At least she holds some idea of patient confidentiality, or goodbye your personal info!

Bio:

Her parents were well known heroes among local standards in the quiet city they had lived in, the local heroes Loose Loop and Amor. When Nawa was ten, she was kidnapped by a group of upcoming villains. The villains grabbed her when the elementary school day ended, bystanders could not immediately react due to the Quirks of the kidnappers.

In her isolation, she latched on to anyone she could, and over the course of a few months tried to reach out to the villains keeping her hostage. Over the course of time, she had strung up high-level connections on and off between them and developed a high degree of sympathy for her captors, further exacerbated by her Quirk and bleedthrough empathy.

After a year, she had reached the point where she actively inspired sympathy in a much of the villain group in turn, halfway convincing them to let her go. It was at that point, that her parents and the other heroes they enlisted finally managed to find and reach her. The heroes took the villains into custody, and her attempts to try to testify in support of the villains were written off as trauma. She did work over the years after to lessen their sentence, by providing testimony that they treated her fairly besides the confinement and lowered their sentence to ten years.

Nawa has kept a great sympathy towards villains in general as a result of this incident, and it was an important turning point in her own motivations.

Her parents kind of worry for her, since her therapy sessions never stuck, but hope that actually getting into U.A. will settle her down to be a proper hero.

Personality:

She seems like a bit of a careless girl, but she has surprisingly thoughtful moments. She's a curious girl, who often loudly runs her mouth about her own thoughts. Nawa is a bit touchy-feely, and personal space isn't a huge deal for her, since she regularly kind of monitors other peoples' emotions and invades their privacy that way.

On the other hand, she holds the opinion that people's emotions should be their own, and shouldn't be interfered with forcibly, which is kind of hypocritical given she's perfectly okay with messing with people outside of her Quirk, or inciting emotion in a "natural" way. She unconsciously holds the idea that negative emotions are more real.

Nawa is ambitious as a means to an end, and her efforts to become a hero are based on wanting a platform for her goals. She holds a belief that anybody and everybody can be redeemed if they try, but they'll probably need a helping hand. Her belief system is intensely twisted, and her priorities are definitely skewed for a would-be hero. While her heroic instinct is still intact and she holds strong beliefs that people in need should be rescued, she also thinks that villains need heroes too, and that there's enough heroes that operate otherwise so that she can do her best for them instead.

In the end, Nawa believes that if she can become a top hero, she'll definitely be able to reach more villains with her message of redemption!

@Wizard_Marshall - Hey kid, wanna buy some drugs?

@God and the Snake - Sir Smokesalot
Name: Isukiri Amakusa

Power Base: Confusion Inducement

Appearance/Costume:

Quirk: Background Haze - Isukiri has a series of six glands running down his back that can output a voluminous white fog. If this fog enters the bloodstream, it causes those with a human physiology to begin experiencing increasingly invasive auditory hallucinations. However, this quirk has several limitations: Firstly, it cannot penetrate the epidermis; that is to say, it cannot enter the body by contact with the skin. It must either enter the blood stream through inhalation or via contact with an open wound. Secondly, the glands along Kiri's back do not provide much in the way of thrust - the fog only flows along already existant air currents once its exited the body. And finally, beings with a sufficiently inhuman physiology are immune to Background Haze's effect.

Skills:
Puissant Bureaucrat - As the vice-president of the Disciplinary Committee, and as the... less distracted of its two founders, Isukiri handles the lion's share of the organizations paperwork: Filing incident reports, recording expenditures, and taking minutes during meetings. This has left him with not only a talent for bookkeeping, but also an innate understanding of the bureaucratic process.

Reserved - Isukiri can repress and conceal his emotions with an alarming effectivity, which makes him into something of an adept liar and allows him to maintain a levelhead in rough situations.

Bio: Growing up, Isukiri had a superficially ideal life. His mother was a minor league heroine and his father was accountant for a firm that handled the finances of a third of the hero agencies in Tokyo. He maintained good, if not great, grades. In truth, he had only one real issue:

He was bullied relentlessly.

Kiri was meek and unassertive growing up, a trait he inherited from his father. Additionally, he found his true Quirk embarassing and unimpressive, going so far as to claim that one of its secondary effects was his 'true' Quirk. Unfortunately, the relative banality of Background Haze made him an acceptable target for schoolyard bullying that only intensified as he grew old.

Things took a major change when Yu Oho entered his life, though not for the better at first. Intervening after he caught Kiri being beaten by several other boys, Yu did as Yu always had: Beat the shit out of them. The justification of saving Kiri was nice but unneeded. What followed, however, was less... cathartic.

Over the next week, Yu dragged Kiri with him to every fight he picked. Sometimes against Kiri's bullies, but other times against just about anyone who struck his fancy. It was... stressful. Seeing strangers beaten like dogs weared on his soul, even more then his own torment had. Eventually, he did what he'd never had before: He snapped. He told Yu to go fuck himself, as well as his wannabe super villain bullshit, then stormed out. It'd felt... good at the time.

Though it started feeling significantly worse after he heard from one his former bullies that Yu was going to 'get what was coming to him' a few days later. Apparently, the damn idiot had taken his outburst as some kind of challenge, picking a fight with everyone who'd ever bullied Kiri. And while Yu was good that was a lot of people with a lot of Quirks.

He may not have even liked Yu at the time, but he couldn't let him get maimed... or worse.

He tracked Yu to where this rumble was happening and for the first time used his Quirk in agression. He was able to beat the delinquents bloody and flee with Yu well before any heroes arrived.

After that, things changed between the two. Yu honestly attempted to become a better person, even going so far as to form what he called the 'Disciplinary Committee' to prevent anyone from getting hurt like Kiri had again. And, for all that it was misguided, Kiri did appreciate Yu's hamfisted attempts to defend him. So together, they become the Committee's heads, and have lead it for the last several years.

@Takoe - GLORIOUS NIPPON STEEL
Name: Shoku Yoganin (Western Notation)
Hero Name: Vulcan
Power Base: Molten Metal Manipulation
Appearance:

Instead of a katana he has a metal rod with a tsuba there. The pouch on his belt filled to the brim with bearing balls, and the sheathes underneath it with tinker's tools.

Costume: Heavily heat resistant clothing to make his quirk more viable on a large scale.

Quirk: Slag. Slag allows Shoku to superheat any metal objects within a 30 meter radius and, if heated until they are liquids, freely control them as though he were using telekinesis. The heating into liquid state can, at this point in time, be done in two seconds as can cooling it back into a solid; The scale's upper bound of how much he can control at any given time is still unknown. While the metal is being heated shoku gains knowledge of its exact composition and atomic/molecular structure, giving him the tools he needs in his quest for the creation of the ultimate blade.

However, Slag is not without weakness. Shoku is not immune to the intense heat radiated by all this molten metal and must take care not to overheat himself and pass out. It also cannot affect metals that are part of someone's biology, although it works just fine on external cybernetics or bracers and the like.

Skills:
Proficient Blacksmith and Metallurgist. If the Hero course doesn't work out for him he could very easily switch to the Department of Support and supply the world with master crafted weapons and armours like a master from the days of yore.

Skilled duelist: Shoku has yet to meet the person he finds worthy of judging his arms, and thus became a skilled sword fighter himself by neccessity. His style revolves around precision, level-headedness and footwork, as he is well aware he would likely lose any contest of strength and endurance with a true melee specialist.

Bio:
Ever since he was but a young child Shoku Yoganin has had an incredible, innate drive to succeed. He threw himself with full abandon into each hobby he came across, but somehow they all felt hollow to him. Sure he was having fun, but winning and succeeding (as well as a four year old can, that is) at tag, chess, athletics or the myriad of other things he tried never truly satisfied him. This changed when one day his parents took him to a museum about the old Japanese culture.
As any sensible four year old would be, Shoku was bored out his mind. Until they got to the weapons exhibition. There he saw the most beautiful thing he'd ever laid his eyes on: The Honjo Masamune, the blade that symbolized the power of the shogunate and was made by one of Japan's two best swordsmiths. Shoku was captivated by its almost ethereal glimmering and the hamon patterns with a nigh endless depth. The more and longer he looked at the blade the more it began to glow with a supernatural light in his eyes. When his parents abruptly dragged him away by the shoulders he panicked and as a result his quirk that had he'd been using on the sword without realizing it went into overdrive, melting the masterpiece before his eyes and launching it through the roof of the museum into the air, never to be found in its entirety again.

Shoku was heartbroken, not because he was being chewed out by not only his parents but the entire nation, but because he had irreversibly destroyed the epitome of beauty. In that moment he swore he would use his quirk for the sake of creation only and to make masterpieces of such quality as to make up for his sin, and if he were able to even surpass it. And to do this, he'd have to hone his quirk to its full potential and need to know how well his creations performed in the heat of battle where they belonged.
The answer was clear: For the sake of the legacy of the unsurpassed Japanese steel, Shoku Yoganin would become a hero.

Personality:
Shoku is a polite, if rather serious and often times cold and brusque person. Nevertheless he is pleasant enough to be around and is always willing to discuss any topic that may be brought up, even personal troubles. His dispostion is more that of an old scholar rather than a teen's: Calm, intelligent and stoic at all times, never panicking again. The confidence in his abilities and philosophical justness is as absolute as his drive for improvement. When he's at school, he learns what he must. When it's his free time, he develops his body, smithing skills and occassionally dives into a subject and immerses himself in literature as a hobby. An intellectual through and through, Shoku never passes up an opportunity to learn new things.

@Itaywex - Destroy Them With Lasers
Name: Emiko Izawa
Power Base: Magick Attacks
Appearance:

(Original drawing by Shoken Narai)

Costume:
Emiko's costume is similar to this:

(Original drawing by Shoken Narai)
But without a tie.

Both of her hands are covered by the kind of glove shown in the picture and her shoes are of a similar making. The gloves and shoes allows her to fire her energy bursts from her hands and feet without ruining her own cloths (similar in a way to Ashido Mina's boots).

Quirk: Energy blasts.
Emiko is capable of generating energy in the form of either concussive bursts or slicing rays of energy. The energy leaves her body with high velocity, and thus she is unable to form a static shield with it. Her power is strictly offensive in nature, though she can use it to propel herself towards one direction or another (overall it's similar to a cross between Aoyama's and Bakugo's quirks).

The strength of her blasts can range from a punch, to a concussive blast powerful enough to flip a car to a energy beam that can demolish a house.

Despite the spectacle her quirk is, she doesn't tend to use it a lot.

Skills:
OSINT collector: Emiko is good at crossing information and figuring things out of data that is available to the public. Stuff like guessing the area a group of villains are operating from based on where they committed crimes/attacks or collecting video footage from several sources in order to have data to examine regarding their abilities.

Basically, she is very good at finding out information and reaching conclusions, so long as there is publicly available data to research.

Bio:
Emiko is a city girl that grew up idolizing heroes. When she was a child she had an accident which resulted in her injuring a classmate, something which only increased her passion at becoming a hero. She doesn't have much useful experience for this kind of work, but she is doesn't back down once she has made a decision.

Some digging will reveal that she has transferred schools after the incident and did not have a large circle of friends since then.

She seems a bit cold, but she is quite passionate once you get to know here. She is also a bit of a nerd (don't tell anyone!).

@Azrael - Gun Gale Online
Name: Yamaikami Noriko
Power Base: Death-Force Bullet Projection
Appearance:
Costume: A loose fitting ensemble that covers up nearly the entirety of her body, including a long shirt and jacket, a raised hood, a scarf around her face, and two loose hanging belts around her waist. This rather scruffy outfit does not look particularly 'heroic'.

Quirk: Rot - Noriko's rather uncanny Quirk is an Emitter-type ability that causes the flesh of animals she targets by making a gun with her fingers to slowly rot. The longer she trains her finger on her target, the worse the damage, and more than mild exposure tends to necessitate a hospital visit to remove necrotic flesh.

Skills:
Brawling: Learned the hard way, Noriko possesses a surprising ability to combat even those more physically imposing than her, using pragmatic tricks like aiming for joints, throwing sand in their eyes, or grabbing hold of a number of improvised weapons to make her hits hurt harder. She needs any edge she can get after all, being a teenage girl with a Quirk that doesn't serve to remedy the issue.

Skulking: Somehow, Noriko possesses the ability to shirk the notice of others. Perhaps it is her body language, or how she dresses, or her tendency to exist at the edges of people's field of view. Regardless, she is accomplished in the art of avoiding being consciously recognized, and uses this talent liberally in order to eavesdrop on others.

Bio:
There is nothing noteworthy about Noriko's family. Her parents are not government agents, famous heroes, undercover villains, or foreign dignitaries. Her brother is not a wanted murderer, and her younger sister has never won a Nobel prize.

They are just a normal family, like any you could find in the Tokyo metropolitan area. They may be a slightly larger family than some, or have slightly less money than most...

Or a lot less money than most.

The reason doesn't really matter, but Noriko's father was required to take out a rather large loan, and he got the money from just the wrong people. Noriko has lived on the edge of poverty for her entire life.

Even in this day and age, where superpowers have become commonplace, people haven't changed.

Her financial situation was deemed a reason to ostracize and reject her, so Noriko lived her life as an outcast. Skipping school and loitering in back alleys, getting involved with unsavory individuals. Petty crimes.

The disease of an unsatisfied youth, slowly rotting at the edges of society.

Noriko couldn't stand to spend time in her family's rundown apartment, and so she'd frequently be out and about at night, wandering aimlessly. On one of these many trips, something unusual happened. As a result, Noriko has been inspired to join U.A in hopes of becoming a Hero.

@Khawy - Everything tastes like dirt

@erlking - Cold as Ice~
Name: Yu Ono
Alias: Frosty
Power Base: Cold Empowerment
Appearance: Dyed white hair, pale skin and pale eyes. Yu is tall for a Japanese man, and in extraordinarily good shape as is to be expected of a hero. He favors heavier clothing, jackets, scarves, and long pants to help deal with the chill from his power's use.

Costume: A lightweight and highly reinforced battle outfit. It sacrifices some protection at the joints to retain flexibility for close quarters combat and reinforced high stress areas while Yu's strength is enhanced, such as the arms and shins. It has a removable face mask and goggle set.

Quirk: Frost Bite:
Yu exudes an aura of cold, growing stronger and faster the lower the temperature gets, and focusing the aura into objects he touches to flash freeze them.

Skills:
Decent Lawboy:
The head of the disciplinary committee and an all around mans man. Yu is a charismatic man's man, who rules the committee fairly and with honor.

Loadsamoné:
His family got that money money money, and Yu do too. C.R.E.A.M get the money! Dolla dolla bills y'all!

Come At Me Bro: FIGHT ME IRL!

Bio:
The rich boi who runs the disciplinary committee with his bestie Isukiri.

@Lilithium - My Little Vampire Can't Be This Cute
Name: Miyaguchi Chihiro
Planned Hero-name: Vampage
Power Base: Malevorous

Appearance: Chihiro is a girl of small stature who can always be seen with some kind of sweet between her rather large chompers. Her short and fluffy blonde hair helps round out her height to about five feet. Chihiro's quirk has the physical affect of giving her an impish appearance, being born with a spade tipped tail and small bat wings, and later growing small horns that poke out of her forehead. Her wings are unable to provide flight and can be considered useless. It's possible that Chihiro could have been scary or intimidating in another life. Here, she's too chipper and petite to make people fear for their lives. People that don't know her might still be frightened by her predatory fangs though.

Costume: Not the most protective or most revealing of outfits. It almost looks like a dark magical girl costume. The fabric is made to allow maximum efficiency of movement and close contact energy transference/channeling while still being protective.

Quirk: Chihiro would prefer her quirk to have a cute name, but don't listen to her. It's called just called Empathetic Vampirism. It gives Chihiro the ability to 'suck' away the negativity of others and convert that into energy. She can use this energy to form large claws, create a blade around her tail, and just all around improve the abilities of her body. The more she does at once, the greater the drain on her energy is. Chihiro's saliva instantly paralyzes and numbs people when she bites them. It lasts for less then a minute when she stops.

Also, it makes her feel great! Chihiro never stays mad for long and can even help other people be happier! Eating the bad feelings of other people requires some sort of close contact. Skin to skin contact like holding hands, being really close to someone, or biting and drinking blood. The later works best but everyone scolds Chihiro. Super not fair!

[Chihiro's Quirk has both civilian and combat applications. It's civilian usage allows her to drain 'darkness' from peoples hearts via close contact. The most effective method instills a non-addictive calm or tranquil state in which a person can 'meaningfully reflect' without being held back by any negativity. However, it leaves that person open to attacks and generally useless due to the paralyzing venom in Chihiro's bodily fluids.

The combat potential provided to Chihiro is born from her Quirk's appetite. It is similar in to a hardening or strengthening quirk; however she can also make energy constructs that typically envelop or exit from parts of her body. They must be touching her skin and can only extend two meters away max. There is also a certain amount of decay from prolonged exposure to this energy, although this doesn't effect living beings.]

Skills: Chihiro is an amazing snuggler! Which means that she can skillfully restrain people using nothing more than herself.

[Chihiro has gone to various martial arts training since childhood. Her parents wished to instill some amount of discipline in her after her quirk manifested, but it soon had diminishing returns. Although Chihiro did learn a measure of self control but otherwise does not even remember specific terms. She currently uses some Frankenstein style aimed at restraining/knocking out people by any means possible.]

Bio: Chihiro's parents are the best! Mom is a chef that can eat anything and Dad is a really good therapist because he has an empathy quirk! Chihiro grew up in a suburban area with fairly down to earth parents, but it's easy to see where she gets both her quirk and traits from. Her cheerful enthusiasm helps draw people to her, but her quirk does alienate her. Part of the problem is just how willing she is to use it. Chihiro just doesn't think of her power as having any bad sides. It doesn't permanently change people, can only help, and all she has to do is control herself! Chihiro got her quirk during a sleep over where one of her friends was having a nightmare. No blood was shed, but Chihiro refused to disengage from her friend when they woke up that morning. It was kind of a hassle.

Now that she can be a hero, Chihiro wants to do her best to provide courage and happiness to everyone she can. And bad people will in turn provide Chihiro with lots of tasty tasty bad feelings and thoughts to consume! Yes, win-win.

[Mrs. Miyaguchi is a tall semi-famous restaurant owner whose quirk lets her eat and digest anything at little to no risk. The woman's blog is popular with those who require an alternative diet. Chihiro has inherented her mother's unbreakable and constantly regrowing teeth. Mr. Miyaguchi is a skilled empath that specializes in high risk patients. To him, different emotions invoke a sort of interactive synesthesia that helps him get to core issues. He has feathered wings, but like his daughter, he only glides at most. He's also where the fluffy hair comes from. Much to his wife's glee.

Mr. Miyaguchi always impressed upon his daughter the idea that all people could be heroes. The Big Pro-Heroes were just the ones paid most attention to by the masses. Doctors, Police, Teachers. Anyone could be some kind of hero. Everyone should carry that ideal in their hearts and let it guide them in helping others, to a reasonable extent.

Chihiro has grown up well despite a rather rocky adjustment period after her quirk manifested due to the love of her parents, and of course her dearest friends.

Umeko, a girl who could grow plums out of her appropriately colored hair, nothing changed after Chihiro spent most of a morning and afternoon attached to her by the hip after they watched a scary movie about a plant monster. A boy named Takumi who could perfectly draw anything he's seen at least three times, but only traditional Japanese style. Those were the ones closest to her.

Chihiro found herself doing some deep thinking about Heroes and Villains after a certain Undercover event when she was eleven. Inspiration to become a hero didn't instantly reach her brain and kick it into over drive. While the girl was amazingly cheerful, and energetic, she was by no means totally careless. Although, the resolve to become a hero had already been in her heart. Chihiro found that her peer's talk of Hero-ing budded inside of her, not as a childish dream, but as something that Chihiro could actually do and be good at. To help a lot of people.

One might shrug at the life goals of an eleven year old. But Chihiro's heart felt like it would explode at any moment, full of determination as the summer festival's fireworks bloomed overhead. Everything a step at a time though. There was a festival to celebrate.

Umeko didn't seem too pleased at her best friend's plan of Heroics, pointing out that it was a route that neither she nor Takumi could follow, but she accepted gifts of festival food all the same. As for Takumi, he'd figured it was a forgone conclusion for a while now and just tried to cheer Umeko up with stuffed animals.]

@RexHeller - Bad Dragon Mascot
Name: Hadrian Adolfson

Power Base: Dragon Physiology (Yes, seriously)

Appearance: Hadrian looks like a humanoid dragon. Standing 7 feet tall and lithely muscular, Hadrian is covered in green scales from head to toe. Speaking of toes, his fingers and toes are each tipped with a black half-inch long talons. While most of his body is shaped like a human, his head is more lizard-like, with a blunt muzzle filled with fangs and a forked tongue, dark yellow eyes with slitted pupils, longer, spiky scales on top of the head that look similar to a short haircut and a pair of swept back, pure black horns. Sprouting from his back are a pair of wings, ten feet in span from wing tip to wing tip when fully extended. Although his scales prevent him from getting tattoos, Hadrian regularly re-applies black body paint on his upper body inspired by viking and celtic designs.

Costume: A pair of tear and fire proof black jeans. That's it.

Quirk: Dragon. Hadrian's draconic physiology grants him a number of powers. His scales are bullet proof, at least against small arms fire, as well as fire proof. He can survive extremely high temperatures as a matter of course, since his body regularly produces flames hot enough to melt metal and the same chemical combustion that produces his flames can keep him warm in colder climates as well. His strength is well beyond what's capable for a human, letting him punch through steel and lift cars with relative ease. His bones are both extremely tough and lightweight, as are his claws and horns, granting him impressive toughness while also allowing him to use his wings to fly.

And, as a dragon, he naturally breaths fire as well, although not just from his mouth. All around Hadrian's body are small sphincters through which he can expel small but forceful jets of flame, similar to the maneuvering thrusters on a space craft. Hadrian can use these jets in a variety of ways, including otherwise physics defying aerial maneuvers, add power to his punches and kicks, and fly at Mach 1 for short periods of time. His body is adapted to perform these high-G maneuvers without losing consciousness or breaking anything important.

His non-human biology, high body temperature and general toughness also grant him immunity to many human diseases, although he potentially might contract diseases that usually only affect lizards instead.

Skills:
Combat Training: Thanks to his mother's connections, Hardian never needed to look far for combat training. He's trained in a mix of disciplines, mostly with goal of taking down opponents without killing them or hurting them too much. Hadrian's strength can be just as much a danger as it is a blessing after all and he had to learn how to control himself so that he wouldn't accidentally kill anyone weaker than him. He has a little bit of training in more aggressive moves in case he ever comes across someone stronger than him but this side of his training is hardly extensive.

Quiet Confident Charisma: There's something about Hadrian. Perhaps it's his soft spoken ways. Perhaps it's his friendly, cheerful and charming attitude. Perhaps it's the aura of confidence he projects without meaning too. Maybe it's the way he's always looking out for others before himself. Maybe it's because he's s six foot tall dragon man. Regardless, he rarely has any trouble people wise, easily making friends and taking command of a situation both. His natural charm might not work so well on people with stronger personalities though. (basically, he's good with non-villain NPCs.)

A Little Bit of Everything: Thanks in part to his journey across Asia, Hadrian knows at least a few words in many, many different languages. While he's fluent in Norwegian, Sami, English and Japanese, although his Japanese is a tad questionable, he knows how to say a few stock phrases like "Hello", "I'm here to help", and "You're under arrest" in over a dozen different ways.

Never lost: Hadrian seems to have a natural knack for directions. He always knows where he is, where he wants to go is, and the best way to get there. Basically, under normal circumstances, he'll never get lost or turned around.

Bio: Born and raised in Norway, Hadrian Adolfson always knew he was going to be a hero. His mother was one of Scandinavia's most well known heroes, named Jörmangandr and famed for her ability to turn into a giant lizard. His father, meanwhile, had minor pyromancy as his quirk and was a very kind, charitable man. This combination led to Hadrian's impressive quirk, as well as his impressive moral compass. From a young age, Hadrian was pushed by both parents to go into heroing since he had the quirk for it. Hadrian went along with his parent's wishes, mostly because he didn't have a reason not to and, well, heroes were cool, right? But what really inspired him was when he was five and his mother brought him to meet All Might, who was visiting the country. Hadrian had been intimidated by the large, intense man, hiding behind his mother for most of the meeting, but All Might's charisma won him over. After the meeting, Hadrian vowed to be a hero just like All Might, someone that not only saved people but inspired them as well.

For the next few years, Hadrian redoubled his efforts in becoming a hero. Where as before he simply did as his parents told him, now Hadrian threw himself into training, sometimes to the point where his mother had to drag him home to get some rest. It was around this time that Hadrian started having trouble with his social life. His new schedule left him with little free time and his relationships with his friends became strained as a result. After one particularly bad argument, he came home to his father, trying and failing not to cry. Seeing his son's distress, Hadrian's father started teaching him about people. It was nothing so formal as training, just a father sharing what he had learned and experienced over the years with his son. But Hadrian took those talks to heart and started to pay more attention to the people around him and he managed to fix up his relationship with some of his friends.

When it came time to apply for a Hero School, Hadrian sent his application into U.A., wanting to follow in All Might's footsteps. Thanks to his training, his excellent quirk and his mother's influence, he was accepted.

Rather than fly on a plane or something to reach Japan, Hadrian flew himself across Europe and Asia as sort of a summer road trip. Along the journey, saw a lot of sights, grew as a person and even got a little bit of experience as a hero. However, what he got most out of the experience was all that people he met and the friends he made. He has good friends all across two continents now.

Personality wise, Hadrian has adopted an easy going, quiet attitude to counter his intimidating appearance. He has a strong sense of justice thanks to his hero mother, as well as inheriting his father's natural kindness. Perhaps due to his reptilian nature, he tends to be laid back in regards to most things outside of Heroing, bordering on laziness. He'd rather spend his free time spending a lazy day laying in the sun, either with freinds or with some music, than anything active. Finally, unlike his draconic appearance implies, he doesn't roar or rage when he gets angry. Instead, his anger is much colder and focused. He doesn't get angry often but when he does, he will quickly and efficiently "solve" whomever tried to hurt those that Hadrian cares about.

Also, he enjoys American rock music. It's pretty much his only hobby.

@AProcrastinator - Actual Couch Potato
Name: Suzuki Arata
Power Base: Spring Magic

Appearance: A somewhat short, scrawny teen with red hair and the kind of scraggle on his chin that never seems to either grow into a full beard or appear patchy. His red hair is - as he might sardonically say - fluffy enough to cover his eyes and reach down to his shoulders. He is constantly slouched.
Costume: Barefoot and shirtless, the young man stands in battle - and doesn't do much else. He wears faux-fur pants, in curly red color, and carries a set of wooden panpipes and a shillelagh. He has a headband which blends in seamlessly to his hair, and upon this headband are two curling ram's horns. He never takes this headband off.
...he was too lazy to think of any upgrades.

Quirk: Roots Run Deep. Suzuki Arata is capable of sprouting short-range Roots from his body and attaching himself with great strength to nearly any surface. Once these Roots have dug in, and given enough time to absorb and store water, air, sun, and nutrients in his own body, Arata can spread them a great distance, and sprout various types of plants nigh-instantaneously from them. The type of plant produced does not necessarily need to confine its classification and abilities to what plants already exist, but the more complicated and esoteric the plant's abilities, the longer it takes Arata and his Roots to grow them, and the more water, air, sun, and nutrients they take to grow, and the more knowledge of plant biology Arata needs to construct them in a way that allows them to work.
In other words, Arata has the perfect power for the man who wants to put an awful lot of effort into justifying doing absolutely nothing.

Skills: Arata is actually quite practiced and proficient at a number of skills - usually ones that he figured would take less effort, in the long run, to learn. Like balancing checkbooks, or academia. Here are some of the most pertinent ones, straight from the sloth's mouth:

Genius Botanist: It's less that I understand how plants work, and more that plants understand how I work. But yeah.
Advanced Psychology: People aren't that different from plants, really. They wither, they bloom, they grow. Give 'em the kind of food and water they need, and you can leave each other alone, the rest of the time.
Stick Fighting: You go here. The stick goes there. Your face goes on the floor. This is what it looks like when you get your butt kicked by the scrawniest kid in homeroom.

Good luck getting him to apply any of them, though...

...ugh. Do I gotta?

...okay. Lemme get this over with quick.

I'm Suzuki Arata, and this is all a mistake.

The first thing I remember is my Quirk. I was two, maybe two and a half, and plants were growing wherever I felt like they should grow. So I thought to myself that I was never gonna need to work hard like my parents did, or anyone else did. I could just live in a tree. Grow food. Sleep a lot. Good life.

And you know, if my parents didn't want that kind of life for me, they probably shouldn't have laughed and encouraged their little toddler, now should they? But they did, and by the time I'd gotten old enough for them to realize I was serious, the idea had already - ha ha - taken root. I was and am still determined to work as little as possible as life;ll let me. That's why I graduated junior high super-early, straight As. Coasting would've kept me there twice as long, and my parents would never have accepted me just flunking out. More trouble than that's worth, honestly.

After Junior High, I was able to put off actually going into high school by signing up for the hero courses - they've got that whole minimum age thing going on, after all. Parental units actually made a deal with me - if I don't get into a superhero school of some kind, they'll let me drop out and pursue the life of luxury I knew I was destined for. But if I do, I've gotta - ugh- apply myself.

So, just do badly on the entry exam. Problem solved, right? Well, turns out, I can't stop myself from trying to save people. And my parents apparently realized both that, and the fact that saving people is exactly what a school for heroes looks for in an applicant.

Aren't I just special.

Still, in terms of jobs, this one ain't shaping up too bad, actually. My plants do all the work for me, just like they always have, and I can just sit back and watch that happen. It's a self-running gig; I've just gotta be there to set up the instruments, so to speak. It's just like hanging out in the forest and playing my pipes, except I'll get paid for it, and sometimes someone will smile at me for helping them out.Actually, in terms of job perks... I guess I've got some of the best.

That's what I keep telling myself to survive algebra homework, at least. Uuuuuurgh...

... maybe I should ask the Professor now what the homework for the rest of the semester is gonna be. If I take a couple weeks to do that, I can do whatever I want the rest of the time ...

Personality: If you were to characterize Arata in one word, it would be lazy. He's not apathetic; he cares very much about maintaining his own personal time and (Even if he might not like to admit it) doing the right thing, and he will do everything in his power to protect both. But that doesn't mean he likes putting in effort. He's only sticking around at this school because he thinks the eventual job he gets out of it will be relatively cushy, with his powerset. He puts exactly as much effort as is necessary into making sure his teachers stay off of his back, which usually puts him square in the middle of the class averages on everything.

Of course, lazing about at UA is something ill advised.

So many RPs I've joined..

But it's Summer! I have plenty of time!

...

This RP seems oddly familiar..

Lemme get done with my other obligations and try my luck.

To apply, or not to apply. I'm not the hugest fan of randomised power selection (or having to base a character around a power rather than vice versa), but I do like MHA...

I volunteer for tribute.

Lemme get a character sheet rolled up after I go swimming.

Seriously, this is gonna be good lol

Shit I'm kind of interested. But also really new to the whole rping thing.

@LostDeviljho

Are there going to be canon characters at all? Or how will that go about? At least timeline-wise?

How are you enforcing the randomization rule? Scouts honor?

Also, would it be possible to pm you to just see whether certain ideas will work..? Ahaha.... this will be a first for me so~

I did roll my first thing and I think it can be interesting but I'd still like to discuss some to see if it's at all viable.

You're basically replacing most of the non-vital 1-A members from the series.

How are you enforcing the randomization rule? Scouts honor?
Pretty much.

Absolutely.

Ok, Wheel of Morality turn turn turn, give us a lesson that we should learn...

*Reads power*

...Oh I can work with this. First roll too. Nice.

Looks like I'll be continuing the trend of making outdated concept work again in the BHA universe in these RPs.

Oil Attacks

Not terribly lame. I can work with this.

Now, whether I go for an oil baron Rockefeller theme, an artist theme, or a corruptive compound theme remains in question.
