Girls und Panzer (Enroll Now!)

Here we go.

Shooting for the Pz. 2, no penalties I know of, spending a fate point for +2, +3 gunnery

Assuming I'm doing this correctly, that's +5.
Rolling opposition. You get a +2 from @AlphaD as well.

I'm here.I don't really know if I can add anything. Aside perhaps a Shooting Teamwork, but I think that is already handled.

Wait. @Sushi can I CA with a Notice roll?

If not, I'll just add fluff into my next SI post.
Teamwork is always helpful from up top.

EDIT: That's +7 vs +7. A tie.
Sushi threw 4 6-faced dice. Reason: Drive +5 Total: 18
6 6 5 5 2 2 5 5

I wonder if Jon should be laughing maniacally when the Panzer II skids directly into the Panther's line of fire, I feel like he would.

Gotta go faaaasssstttt. And if they fail to kill the pz2 I am gonna do a sick driftto make them stop for a clean shot XD

Sorry. I just remembered to check the thread right now. It completely slipped my mind after waking up.

Anyway. I'm gonna add flavour in the IC and Tramwork shooting.

Don't apologise! I've also been absolutely buried by life but I think I've dug my way out now.

My IC post is out so @Theravis make the shot whenever you're ready.
Good post. Just for reference WW2 tank guns have a "semi-automatic" breech block, so once the breech is opened with the operating handle the first time, loading the shell will trip the latches and snap the breechblock closed. When the gun fires the case ejects during recoil and the breech locks in the open position for the next round. Because of this British tanks had an electrical safety cutoff that prevented firing before the loader hit a switch, but most tank guns had no safety in the same way a breechblock lever works on a modern tank.

_____@Yana
Congratulations on a job well done! Your first responsibility is to assign a member of the team to oversee the brand new R&D department. This person will take care of where team research goes and what upgrades arrive first. You've recently found out that there's been a new transfer, and Yukimura was seen heading out as soon as the match ended. You've been told that it's a family matter, and she thought it was appropriate to step down from commanding a tank instead of leaving you all waiting.

As a reward for doing so well on your first match as a team, the department has approved the purchase of an additional vehicle to your tank fleet. You don't have another crew to drive it yet, but one of your existing teams could give it a shot. I'm working on your selection, but suggestions are welcome.

_____@Ranger
If you're still interested, this is your opportunity to command the tank. Naming the oddball M3 is also going to be up to you.

_____@Dirtnap @CompassJimbo
Since you two have seniority compared to your new commander, I'd like to offer you the choice: A mysterious sponsor would like to offer you a chance to run an oddball tank in the next game. Specifically, it's an LVT(A)-4, or "Amtank." This is a variant of the famous amphibious Amtrac, armed with a 75mm howitzer like that found on the M8 HMC. It packs a whallop against enemy positions and has the ability to strike the enemy indirectly from afar, as well as screen with WP Smoke Shells.

The M3 will be receiving front-firing machine guns for the driver. The automotive department is open to your specific requests on how to work on the tank. (Submit them here first!)

_____The Tank History club on the ship would like to borrow the Su-76i; it would make a great tank for the freshmen to study. In exchange, they have a spare assault gun the crew could borrow for the interim: the M10A1 Gun Motor Carriage. The M10A1 is Ford GAA gasoline-powered version of the US Army M10. It's a moderately fast tank destroyer with average protection, and a decent cannon that can use more advanced ammo than the Su-76i. It is hampered by having an enormously slow turret that can only be operated by hand crank, though.

[Assassin] @Tonaris @dryskim @Bahumat
_____At long last, the upgrade has arrived. The old man came through with a 76.2mm turret for the dimunitive BT. It makes for a ridiculous-looking tank, the turret grossly oversized for the small and sleek hull. This model would technically be called the BT-7A, capable of lobbing shells great distances and pummeling enemy positions. You've also been told that the automotive club could overhaul the BT regardless of if you choose to install the new turret or not; they can try to source a V2 diesel engine to replace the worn-out motor, or apply league-compliant applique armor.

_____@Sideral
The automotive team gets to work fixing Caliburn after the match. The overhaul gives it an additional Physical stress box of 1Shift. Additionally, you have a choice between improving the reliability of the Crusader by overhauling the beat-up Liberty engine with league-approved reinforcement parts, or...
methanol injection
War Emergency Power:
You've installed an aviation-type methanol injection system for instant power at the touch of a button. You gain the ability to push the Crusader's engine to its limits, and can take a roll At Cost by taking Physical Stress.
_____@Unlucky Bibliophile
The overhaul has added a Vickers Model K, or "VGO" (Vickers Gas Operated) machine gun. This fearsome twin-mount weapon is accessible by the the turret crew of the Caliburn and can lay down a withering amount of fire. You've also got a choice of upgrades.
2'' bomb thrower
2'' Bomb Thrower:
The automotive club has offered to give you a free install of a 2'' Bomb Thrower, which is an internally mounted, breech-loaded mortar that can fire 50mm HE or WP Smoke shells at a fixed distance in front of the tank.
57mm apds
57mm Armor-Piercing Discarding Sabot:
Your hookup with the Automotive Club can get you a limited supply of APDS ammunition, enough for moderate use for a game or two. APDS is a special type of ammunition that is less accurate than standard ammo, but has extreme penetration — the type of performance that can crack many medium tanks open with a frontal hit at combat ranges.

The M10A1 sounds pretty decent to me; slow turret traverse is kind of an okay problem to have since most TDs didn't even have a turret at all.

Hmm, the supercharger as proposed is tempting. Still, I'm going for the engine overhaul for the IC reasons described a while back.

Well, unless the crew wants to convince Stella otherwise (or outvotes her), that is.

It is a methanol injection system, so rather than a supercharger (which boosts performance all the time), you have a limited amount of extra power you can use at risk of pushing the engine, sorta like a nitrous oxide kit.

Jon doesn't have any suggestions on which new tanks to buy due to both a general lack of experience and interest in all things tankery. He'd totally have corralled the rest of Master team into a group photo in front of the burn out wreck of their Panther so he could send it with the caption "Just won my first match, Sis. Wasn't hard at all, lol" to troll his sister tho.
