I doubt that Ruler needs the aid here, considering the following:

It was even said that he was granted the ''rule of the World'' by Apollo. More importantly, however, is the affection granted to him by the Christ who aided him in the battle against Maxentius."

If we were to join in on the fight, Ruler might lose the Divine Protection, and Assassin might feel threatened enough to use his A++ Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm on either us or, worse, Rin. We should get out of here and prep our workspace, we don't have any real reasons to join the fight.

Look up our char sheet. We got both Archer Gil and Caster Gil's skills and pros without the cons(personality) of Archer. That's pretty OP.

Ruler is as OP and I can see Gil getting annoyed by Ruler supposedly having the 'right' to rule the world granted by Apollo.

Destroying Ruler's Reality Marble is normally easy for Gil with Ea or just the higher firepower to destroy the complex. That's if we ever confront him tho. Let's hope not.

And we all know that Assassin is Jack the Ripper.

Foolish or not, Rin is the one who called us. It'd be a good idea to shoe what happens when you mess with the King's subjects.

We could do with not having to worry about Assassin shanking Rin while we're in the field. We don't know yet if Tokisada is around or not, even if Darnic and Yggdramillenia presumably are. So it might end up as everyone vs Amakusa's Servants or it could be Red vs Black then the Red Servants still around. (Because if its us vs the Black team they're gonna be stuffed). Thankfully Rin is a very powerful magus and not a twat like her dad was.

Hmm, a dagger and shrouded in shadows. Pretty common among Assassins, but I wonder what the chance is that Assassin's NP is Carnwennan?
 
The vote is pretty tight on this one.
But I mean come on guys are we going to drop this opportunity to kill a future troublesome servant that's going to target the masters.
We can get rid off a Servant early in the War, we should take this chance while it last.
