  • [X] "Okay, but then you feed me grapes." Equivalent exchange, as they say. And what better exchange than having your Master feed you sweet goodness?
[X] "Neither you, nor Kotomine have filed the appropriate paperwork for me to give more then a token effort for this war. This is discounting the losses my treasury would sustain from fighting in a war. Thus if you or Kotomine desire my further aid beyond momentary attacks or advice, one or both of you will need to agree to compensate me for any losses accrued, seeing as the required paperwork takes three days and three nights to complete."

[X] "Let's let Kotomine deal with the suitors." Clearly, they are competing for your attention. But to fight the King of Heroes, you must first prove worthy. Allow Kotomine Shirou to deal with the paperwork. If one of them beats him, they'll be your target later, if you care enough about fighting them.
[X] Send an army into war and direct/support them. And by army i mean Rin+some golems we have in our closet, and by support I mean magic/commands.

No guarantee I'll write the update tonight. I might decide to go to sleep when it's half-done.

"Very well, Master," you answer sharply. You make a full-body turn and sparks of gold entwine your body as you step back into the alleyway. "But then, you shall feed me with grapes as thou I wert your lord."

"What?" she asks, bewildered and equally surprised you'd make a request like this in a life-threatening situation. Rin seems to shrink under your shadow. The mana around your body, bright yellow in color, replaces your disguise with lustrous clothing worthy of a king. You give her a bemused look and she breaks. "Fine! Just go and do it!"

"Excellent." You reach your hand back and pull out your favorite war-axe from the Gate of Babylon, then step back into the fray.

Kotomine gives you an angry look, then throws a quartet of Black Keys to fend off Assassin. He jumps onto the wall of the building, holding onto it, before leaping at Caster.

The magus is left with little time to think, so he sticks his hand out and manifests and ether forcefield that intercepts Kotomine's blade. "You have a lot of spunk for a Master," he notes with a sliver of comprehension, indicating he figured out Ruler's secret.

You pay the mongrel no heed. "Shut your snake mouth!" you hiss loudly, placing the war-axe at your side and planting one hand on your waist. The depths of your treasury open up, shocking everyone in the vicinity. The entire alleyway is illuminated with golden light as tens of circular holes in space are torn open with weapons and magical staves peeking out.

Assassin doesn't need any more persuasion. He's obsessive, desires to kill. But he's far from a fool that would endanger his own life to fulfill that desire. Taking advantage of the shadows everywhere near him, he warps to the shadow of a nearby trash container, away from you. He then leaps up at the wall and kicks off to the opposite wall, repeating this maneuver twice and reaching the ledge of the rooftop. This all was accomplished in under three seconds.

It appears this mongrel's specialty is running away, but you won't let him today.

A blade fires at the concrete of the ledge, destroying his leverage. In an instant, he drops down to the ground. Before he can hit, he warps into Caster's shadow, cast on the ground by the golden luminescence of your treasury.

Caster scowls. They had the upper hand, but now it is a two versus two. In addition, you're on one of the teams, meaning this is as good as finished. He prepares a spell, incanting some sort of powerful shield or attack, but you cut him off before he can finish, by firing a dozen of weapons and lunging tens of ether, fire, and lightning explosions at him. All of the deadliest elements combined. One of the swords scrapes his shoulder and some of the fire burns at his foot, but he guards himself from most of it by repelling it with magecraft.

"I have told you to keep quiet, mongrel," you state boldly, frowning upon him distastefully. "You are a horrid listener to omit a king's words, and a witless fool to repeat your mistake. I elect to cut off your tongue as punishment, but I will postpone it until you hear my word, so listen well."

At that, Caster's body seems to tighten. Assassin, behind him, lurches down like a rat. Kotomine half-looks at you with a determined glare, still keeping tabs on the two assailants. Rin is standing ten meters behind you, but is prepared to hear whatever you have to say.

"You are nothing more than sickening rodents; a plague-carrying vermin that must be exterminated. To withhold my property is one thing," you say, referencing the Grail. Kotomine's eyes seem to widen a milimeter at that. "But to attack my allies in the brink of day and force me to come here to deal with it is another thing. You are not even worthy of being tortured, so, simply die."

In an instant, fire. Portals open up behind and in front of the Black team's Servants, firing freely and without warning. They keep firing, as you approach Kotomine closer.

"This will keep them in a halt for fifteen seconds," you state, already forseeing twelve moves in advance. Caster raised a protective magic circle, intercepting your weapons out of the air with telekinetic force before they hit and nullifying magical attacks. "You may escape or stay here, Kotomine."

The priest nods. "Do you have this handled, Caster?"

"The Assassin will run away no matter what," you say, already having foreseen that outcome. It is inevitable, unfortunately. The day's light offers too many vantage points. Too many shadows, and offers you too little freedom from the eyes of commoners to truly do any meaningful work. It is bizarre how daylight would help an Assassin. "The Caster? I'm not certain, but I can kill him."

It depends on your verdict, after all.

Kotomine nods again in understanding. "Then I'll leave this in your hands." The blades of the Black Keys he happened to be holding onto dematerialize. He puts the hilts back in his suit, then turns to leave.

Ten seconds pass. Assassin spent all that time looking around and trying to calculate a path of escape. He warps out, into the shadow of a bird flying above in the sky of all things, cast on the ground. He then warps behind a lamppost across the street and into another alleyway, before disappearing. You let him go.

Caster of Black turns to look at you. The desperation in his eyes almost sates you, and you can't help but smile deeply. "I can help you, if you let me go! I can help you get the Grail. We can work together!" he shouts, overtaken by fear and with his energy being depleted.

You're aware that his Master will save him with a Command Seal if that's what it takes, but he doesn't know that. This indicates his Master is a callous individual, so indifferent and uncaring that even Caster believes they'd be willing to let him die.

"Oh? The snake wishes to work together. Why should I show mercy? The Grail is already mine."

"I will become your servant!" he cries out. Swearing fealty to a man trying to kill you is a sign of true desperation.

The Gate of Babylon halts its attacks. It is an extension of your will. Merely wanting it to stop firing attacks consecutively is enough, but you like to raise your arm with two fingers out-stretched. It makes you feel like you're giving commands to a ghostly army of servants.

"Hm." You muse over the proposition.

Unleash the greatest of evils. Paperwork.

It would be beneath a King to accept such shallow fealty in Gilgamesh's eyes I think, after all his remark to Waver Velvet at the end of Zero shows that he considers true devotion something to be honored in and of itself.

Remember Caster!Gil is supposed to be more reasonable than Archer!Gil.

Somewhat at least. At least let the man get the chance to apply for the position of being Gil's slave for life.
Hopefully his resume is up to snuff, it is a very competitive job to apply for.

Mongrel! Does he think he is above filing paperwork.

You were a keeper of Law before Hammurabi invented the idea, You are Gilgamesh, Mighty King of Uruk, Murderer of Humbaba, all men kneel before your Law. And Law needs paperwork.

Rin, get this mongrel a slab of wet clay and a reed stylus, there are forms to fill.
