Gamer's Destiny - Closed

And according to Word of God (in PM conversation), anything covered by the definition of your element is affected by your affinity, boosting any and all skills and abilities related to it.
It's Western Fire. I don't really know what that means, but it is.

I mostly just plan on using it to set my arrows on fire.
Well, now I'm glad I chose Instant Deconstruction over this.
You'd be surprised. Apparently the maximum Luck humans can normally have is 3. That's the amount it takes to, say, win the lottery.

Imagine what one could do with 100.

But it is both good and bad luck. It just means you'll get extreme results, meaning crit fails and crit successes.

It also leaves you more exposed to the whims of fate, which while it might provide plot armour, might also stab you in the back without warning.

I don't think so. From what I heard from the GM, it's a lot better then it sounds.

Which is not to say luck won't screw me over, but I'm hoping it just serves to build on results instead of detract from them.

I mean, of the three I have, I think it has the most potential. My first is basically useful to speed up growth which, while useful, doesn't do much on its own. The fire one is a really nice modifier, and I have plans for it, but this third one is an entire new stat. I'm planning my build around it to some extent, and it will be glorious.

I have the lucky combo of Reality's Awareness and Wu Xing Wood, the latter of which has eyes as one of the associated organs.

This will let me, among other things, couple it with Instant Deconstruction to grind crafting like a bastard by salvaging materials from abandoned stuff then recycling my attempts while Observing to figure out what I did wrong in each case and improve. Maybe I'll be able to get up to Structural Analysis levels with enough focused effort.

If I understand instant deconstruction right, it also works on things like food, so grinding cooking becomes possible without being wasteful.jj

Trait:Fae Fetch Creation (Racial): As the Gentry of old, as the Fae Folk under the mounds and over the Hedge, so your blood remembered an old trick they used to do, when they abducted children and grown men alike: the creation of a Fetch, an artificial lifeform that made their bidding as long as they wanted to. First, you need something materials to create it, befitting of his role. And third, the touch of Cold Iron unravel this fragile creation as well as the rest of your Glamours and Fae-magicks. Beware.

Fair. You have a really good crafting build. I'm going more for an action movie samurai thing. High Luck and parkour to move around quickly, plus lots of fire and cool weapons. Not sure what else the fire stuff will do for me, but we'll see.

Go read up on philosophy and whatnot. Greek stuff in particular.

This should be a good starting point: Fire (classical element) - Wikipedia

I'm the only one with Library of Games. This makes me feel special.

I just hope it's useful.

I am the only person who took Oracle's Inquiry. I can say both are useful.
The hope is to use it to increase my swordsmanship and archery skills at a very fast rate. Then I can invest in Dex and Luk, and hopefully I won't need much Str to deal ludicrous damage. That's what I do in Fallout.

It'll help if I can figure out the more esoteric aspects of fire. Because arrows that turn things into ash sound super useful.
