    "Let There be Light," it was said and then there was light.
    -Opening of the Book of Light.

    None may know how the Light came to be. In future ages some claimed it to be the child of chaos, whose birth cries tore apart its mother's womb and radiated and ravaged until it was free. Some claimed it to be the lost tool of some ancient god traveling through the sea of chaos, a lantern to light its way but left it behind for some inscrutable reason. Some claimed it to have birthed itself, for time and reason was not defined in the time before the Light and thus effect did not need cause. Many are the claims as to what came before but all agree that the universe was born then, forged through uncaring chaos by light.

    Light pierced the darkness of unreality, a golden sun that radiated infinitely outward, bringing definition to where there was nothingness, order where there was chaos, and being where there was nonexistence. The universe in its most infant state. And for an age the First Sun and its light was the only thing in the universe, radiating the nurturing of the empty infant cosmos with the Light of Creation. The lonely king of an empty kingdom, too young and undefined to know what loneliness even was.

    Yet that was soon to change for other things began to emerge from the light, for the Light of Creation was long pregnant with the shapes of all things that could be and will be, thoughts and dreams written into its essence in a time long past and a time long to come and driven ever onward by divine decree.

    It is the First Age, the universe is but an infinite abyss filled with a sea of Light. At age's turn will appear the Firstborn of the Sun, the Three who are One. They will weave the Light of Creation into base matter, erect boundaries to separate what is and what is not, and set about ordering the events of time. This will be known as the Great Contraction.

    Yet the Light held many patterns within their limitless depths, what will occur before their coming? It is the Age of Beginnings and the infinite light of the Sun uplifts all.

    Rules
    • Players each have 5 votes to support an act, but can only author 1 act. Every act must have an author.
    • The scope of the actions depend on the number of votes that they receive
      • Base Act (1 Votes): Influence a handful of mortals, give blessings relevant only on an individual human scale, create a breeding pair of a mundane species.
        • Ex: Incite a mob to violence; Make someone immune to mundane harm; create a breeding pair of toucans.
      • Lesser Act (3 Votes): Influence something the size of an island, create a divine artifact, create a stable population of mundane species or a breeding pair of minor magical species
        • Ex: Create an island; Make a Sword that grants perfect swordsmanship to its bearer, create a thousands wolves; create two unicorns
      • Greater Act (5 Votes): Influence something the size of a nation, grant a miracle, create a large population of magical species.
        • Ex: Raise up a continent on a planet, bless an entire generation with immortality, make a flight of wyverns. Uplift a race into sapience
      • Grand Act (7 Votes): Influence something relevant on a planetary scale. Act level needed to create a Sapient and Sentient Species
        • Ex: Raise a continent from the sea, make a new moon, and create a race of intelligent bipedal tigers.
      • Cosmic Act (10 Votes): Things that would influence entire solar systems in their scope.
        • Ex: Create a star, forge an entire ecosystem,
      • Universal Act (Special): Things that change and alter the entire setting as a whole. Does not have a cap.
        • Ex: Bring a new universal force into being, kill a primordial, Make a twin to the First Sun.
    • Universal Acts are special in that to pass they require both 10 votes and a booster to let them reach it. No amount of votes can lead to a Universal Act. There are 2 ways to boost an act.
      • Moment of Glory: Every Player gets 3 Moments of Glory. That is they can boost their authored act to be 1 level higher. They can be stacked so all 3 spent on a single action would mean that only 5 votes are needed to get a Universal Act passed.
      • Subordination: Give the act up to contribute in some way to the coming turning of the age. It will be boosted by 1 level, but will be twisted to add onto it in some way.

    • [X] Create the Final Quasar, the twin black hole of the First Sun. It will never run out of matter as long as the First Sun exists. It has it's own kinds of life like gravity as well as an avatar. It blasts a massive jet of matter creating entire galaxies. It can also manipulate the universe around it, referred to as it's domain. These changes can be anything but must be in proximity to the Final Quasar which considering it' size and astronomical distances, a lot. This uses all my moments of Glory and is subordinate. Make this Universal. If possible, I want to play as this.

Only the size of a mountain, her scales are gold and white glittering with an internal light. She is a curious one who from her creation has started to seek out all secrets she could find.     The Earth Star grows a little as the ages pass. It grows wider, thicker, and richer. However, its growth is so slow, that it is imperceptible to any but the most observant eyes. New lands, mountains, and valleys may spring from where was once none.

    Do note that reality as it is is literally just a singular point of light spewing out super energized light infinitely outward as there is literally no boundaries to reality.

    Those come after the end of the first age.

    Anything created is just going to float around in a sea of plasma until the Great Contraction occurs which erects the dimensional barriers for the universe.

    In all things, there exists the possibility of life. And so it was with the First Sun. The luminous rays spill from it in every direction, and from some of those rays come the plasmoids. The light twists in on itself and forms stable beings of energy. With a Blob-like, amorphous form, those that spawn close enough together have a tendency to orbit other plasmoids around them. They may eventually grow into something more, but for now, are content to simply bask in the light that comes from the First Sun.

    Like I said, sea of supernatural plasma. It will still leave an impact, but probably not in the way you are expecting.

    This would be trying to create an infinitley large mountain as it is.

    Well crap. It was either making a planet or Life Force 2.0. Could probably made the Earth Star capable of growing or being a beast in of itself. Would adding growth change the grade?

    Still going forward with Earth Star, and little anxiously excited for the consequences. Tentatively thinking of Subordinating Earth Star, but it may not be needed, but I'm willing to push it for this Age.

    At 5 votes and benefitng from the Age Boost, it is already passing at Grand.

    Making it a beast or alive in some manner would let it stay at Grand.

    Growth would elevate it to Cosmic since it would then be relevant on a Cosmic Level.
     
    If you voted for Luft trees, please vote for something else. They aren't going to work in the current era. I'm probably going to try and bring them back once's things are settled.

    Umbras are creatures of paradoxical nature who are both afraid of light and dependent on it for survival. They take the shape of platonic solids and forever follow umbral rains, hiding from the harsh light of the First Sun.

    Bring Forth Death, The Final Spectre
    As Life comes forth, so must it's end; indeed, one day all things must end. When they do, Death shall be there, to bring them safely from the world of light and life to the worlds of the dead, whatever form they may take. But Death is not a cold figure, nor is he a killer; he rescues those whose pain is too great, whose time upon the mortal coil is over. He, or maybe better said it, is kind as it carries them away. Unless they seek to escape him forever, or cheat others of their time, in which case their wrath will be great. Non can escape or even stop Death, and at the end of existence, they shall be the one to put away the chairs and turn off the light.

    @Mannan thoughts? Would this be a universal act or cosmic, in terms of votes?

    [X] Roll of a Dice
    From the plasma came a dice of smaller glory than it had hoped, like a falling star it fell from the centre of the light. Hitching onto new creation it spun with its six faced smile before twirling to a stop. It face seeing the sky upon it symbols that spoke of thing that could happen, would happen and could never happen, it smiling face foretelling a small glimpse at the future. It demanded to be rolled so it could answer the question as best it could.

    @Mannan Don't think mine at this level is passing so changing it.

    To clarify for this turn, every act is considered thematic and gets a boost? And there's no real restriction on subordinating an Act?
     
    Well, people know I like to shape universes. But it is always a lot of work. Hmm, maybe I can do something simple like this:

    [] Direct Great Contraction
    Make universe into infinite hyperbolic space on large scale. Universe doesn't have boundaries in three dimensions, it is oveall stable, but it has single point of reference and true center - Light of Creation.

    [X] Create The Staff of Creation
    A heavenly staff, divine and immaculate in appearance, its power is that of creation. The one who wields the staff can turn their imagination into reality, their desires made manifest into physical form. However, there are several limitations to the Staff's power. It has a finite, if replenishing, pool of energy through which it powers its functions, if a creation takes more power than what the staff has, it won't work. It can take up to a century for the staff to fully recharge from empty. The less detailed the user is with what they want to create, the more energy it takes to create and the less stable the creation is. The Staff also follows the letter of what the user's command, and so specific wording must be used to get exactly what they want. Finally, mortals and "lesser" immortals (beings who are just ageless or biologically immortal) using the Staff will slowly burn out their own creativity. If a being already possesses creative power, they may instead channel it through the Staff to act as a focus.

    [X] Create a small needle that can use any substance as a material. For example, the light of the stars.

    Mostly sky whales sounds more interesting to me as a way for creating rain. Not sure what else to go for.

    This is a non-physical object that seeks to unite with the first sentient soul that it meets on its way. Spark Host gains the ability to sense space and manipulate it in a variety of ways. However, it still has scale limits and after death of its host will metaphorically stick to someone else. The Spark, of course, contains an intuitive understanding of the granted ability, but its owner will still have to learn new tricks on their own and try things via using their experience and reason. It can be utilised to bend space like Vista; create places with weird geometry; play with portals in variety of ways and so on. One just needs to use imagination and make a lot of effort to master this power.​
