Forgotten Hunter Vs. The World [Pacific Rim/Evangelion/Big O tribute]

[x] The Hunter is the picture of a staunch defender, broad-shouldered and tall. You can make out a spiraling cavity in its chest, and a visored head framed by a massive cowl. A faint hum permeates the air, regular and oddly comforting.

[X] The Hunter is a raw powerhouse in shape, all harsh angles and thick limbs. Each of its arms is nearly the size of its torso, if not larger, and you think you can see an actual face-- a human face-- staring back at you. Looking at it, you can feel a prickle in the back of your head, as if something was passing through your mind.

[X] The Hunter is a slender being, with three V-shaped bands on its stomach, and a pair of massive fins on its shoulders. Though its armour is discolored and crusted with dirt, you can make out a mask-like face that bares a vague resemblance to a bird's skull. The air around it is warm and wet, as if brought on by the breath of some massive giant.

Ni: 1
Gi: 4
Bi: 4

Keep in mind the style you want!

Wouldn't choosing Gypsy Danger mean we need a co-pilot, or is that requirement gone?

Perhaps, perhaps not. All the options are viable, and the story will change to suit them...

Oh, it's Unit 02? ...I guueees I can see the bird skull comparison?

Also update isn't threadmarked.
Not every update's threadmarked. Only important ones.

And, yes, it's Unit-02. But it doesn't have a helmet-- only a mask. The helmet came off. Every option for the Hunter has some sort of battle damage at the moment.

I'm curious now.

Not enough Big O in the world. Must compensate.

Uggg. Well, I guess we'll be going with Gipsy. Vote locked.

(*Is still glad about the choices he made is regards to the story*)

The Hunter appears.

This is it. The tool with which you'll-- hopefully-- push back the monster, and save your city.

The Hunter.

...Wow.

The very faint bellow of the monster, echoing through the cave, serves to snap you out of your daze. Right, it's time to do this. You aim for one of the walkways, trying to get to somewhere that might be a cockpit. On the way there, you spot a hatch, on the side of the Hunter's cheek. The walkways and ladders lead there, and while progress is difficult in the low-light area, you eventually make it up there.

The inside of the Hunter's head, while considerably smaller than the cave, is no less impressive. You can barely make it all out, but one important thing stands out to you; a pair of hanging frames, one complete-- with places that match your arms, legs, and back-- and one torn apart. A white suit lies on the floor, empty.

As you step in, the lights flicker on.

"Rea͢d- to ̧acti͟-ate ͟t̡h*̶ ͜Jae̛-͏-͝ŗ," A voice rasps.

[ ] What was that?
[ ] Er... Hello?
[ ] Well, clearly you should just get ready, mysterious voices or no.
