    But they very much distrust any sort of magic, which is what they're liable to think we're using both to fight and craft. Along with their tendency for looking down on human craftsmen and their grudges it's more likely to end in a rivalry than a friendly relationship.

    Ah, but in grudges and welcoming politeness both sides fit perfectly well together, so maybe "friendly ribbing" is more appropriate.

    True, that would have been cool as well. We'd probably piss off a lot of people quite quickly, though I guess that still fits Tilea quite well.
