Those two really aren't slashers, but instead a demonic entity and eldritch space horror (respectfully)

In a sense, Pennywise is probably on the weaker side of the horror villains given that his whole thing is fear. He gets power from fear and uses that to be able to kill his victims. Yet the moment he fights someone or a group of people with a spine he's screwed. So even against other slashers Pennywise would get curbstomped.

You also have Determinators which are a path other horror victims often go down if they live. Such as well, who just showed up. Michael Afton in the end game is very much like his father in the Determinator area.

Right, might as well consider the Determinator archetype to be genetic in the Afton family (and the fact that at least three of them get involved with Remnant was also a boost to said Determinator trait).

I know this might not be possible in this quest, but one very good Determinator/Hero unit would be Ash from Evil Dead, though our biggest issue there would be trying to figure out how to poach him from S-Mart. Given that we'll be up against the undead which are right up his alley.
 
Just to be clear, are all the killers from Dead by Daylight here? Because if so, that means we have problems like the Demogorgon and the Xenomorph running around.

I don't think I need to tell you how catastrophic those can be.

Not to mention Vecna and Dracula.

The Xenomorph should still be in Space right? Though if it does get plopped here by something else we're fucked unless we give Freddy Fazbear a rail gun or some shit.

Demogorgan is only a problem if we're Hopkins, and as sturdy as it is fire can do lots of damage to it and weaken it enough for conventional weapons to kill it (also, Steve beat the shit out of one in Season 1, so long as they don't surprise you, you'd still have an okay chance against one). Vecna is same as above, he's still over in Hopkins, not a problem for us unless we move there, except he's higher on the threat bar given he can access people's minds and knock them out long enough to hit ''em with that mental trauma and can kill people on Earth all the way from the Upside Down (though maybe Charlie and Evan could help us out given that they're ghosts and could maybe do some possession of their own to jump Vecna while he tries to do his thing).

Dracula.....as in Dracula from fucking CASTLEVANIA!!! We're gonna need the Belmont clan for this shit, or maybe John Ward.

Though not mentioned, Sadakko won't both us unless one of our characters somehow manages to view her tape, though if given enough reason, Charlie and Evan could maybe intervene as well to beat her back.
 
You know what's be funny? If the ???????? that assassinated JFK was the CIA. Everyone is worried shitless about some supernatural entity when it's really a bunch of amoral assholes that figured out how to MKUltra some Slashers.

    • Special Units like Clay either technically don't work for you or are mercenaries who you hired and can only do certain actions sometimes like Clay from their own Action Pool. They can become regular Hero Units if they are hired permanently or if you earn their loyalty.

    Known Stats
    Security: 14+5
    Illegal: 20
    Known Traits
    A Good Cop: Clay is a cop and a damn good one. Some would say too good. +5 to rolls investigating crimes or corruption. -15 when committing said acts unless its truly necessary!
    Experienced Cop: +5 to Clays Security and ???. Will increase the longer he is on the Force or whenever he solves big crimes.

    • The real question is, who would want to kill the president with a Slasher?

    Plenty of different organizations would do it using regular methods, but it is the specific use of a supernatural killer that makes this special. Did they need it for a specific ritual? To get the government to take action? A way to make other Slashers do the same thing? Get funding to study and possibly create Slashers?

    I need to get my conspiracy board out.

    The killing of the most important politician in the US, and most well known in the world, is way outside the modus operandi of any entity or demon that I know of. It is just too brash.

    This situation just causes too many issues with any sort of long term scheme or plan. It is extremely bad to have your 100 year plan messed up because the general public is now primed to look for supernatural killers and there is a dedicated government agency that can be reported to. There is also a bunch of overlap between Slashers and other horror activity, which will inevitable get different cults, criminals, and other supernatural stuff investigated.

    That is, of course, if this isn't a false flag operation meant to have the government fight an entity's battles for it.

    The Hurricanians' view on us is pretty good for where we are, now we just need to make sure it stays this way.

    Nothing too interesting for the rest of the USA, nice that our name is spreading though.

    As for the Feds.......so long as they don't think something's up we may be fine and instead turn to Willy.

    Charlie at least seems somewhat chill, probably depressed but better than homicidal rage at least. Can we even decode whatever these two are saying?

    Ouch.....as rough of a time as they're having we can't do much directly, best thing we can do is make sure Willy can't enact the Five Missing children incident, especially considering having to share a space with Cassidy wouldn't help Evan cope much I feel.
