I will say that nearly all Slashers except for Jigsaw(Who is a normal if eccentric serial killer) and Chucky are connected to ?????????????????????????????????? which makes them Slashers.
Slashers can be killed permanently though its very hard and happened only once before

This does bring a important question for Mike, and that is ... which while he just came back what are the reactions going to be from the dead

Shit, Jason got lured out of Camp and got Kennedy.

As for who they're connected to, my theory is maybe the Entity from Dead by Daylight, given it has also has some Slashers that do it's bidding (though mostly they have them hang people from meat hooks).

The only thing around from Dead By Daylight are the killers and survivors The Entity just copy pasted them and is now playing around with them

You know the scary part of jason being in this setting is that he is built like a tank, like even if he can be killed, the man has shown ways to get out of hell, and has people interested in him that they are willing to get him out of hell, jason is one fucking scary slasher compared to other slashers, i mean jason has fought so many slashers during his lifetime in the comics and movies that he is a bloody vet when it comes to facing other slashers, he has fought leatherface, freddy and somehow himself from the future decked in metal enchancement and won, i do not envy the black ops the usa sends to deal with jason cause they are not coming back alive

If it's any comfort to the thread Jason, arguably the strongest of the slashers, does semi-reliably get captured/held up by the government...at least eventually. Not a permanent solution by any metric but even a few turns at a time is pretty pleasant. Give em timez they might figure it out.

Less concerned about the walking tanks like Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers, and more so on the dream demons like Freddy Krueger.
Freddy is crazy scary to imagine dealing with...kinda sorta. He's basically unstoppable right up to the very edge, and then promptly falls off a cliff and gets torn apart.

Meanwhile I'm now contemplating if he gets any impression from the ghost kids. I hope not, those kids deserve better than that, but this world doesn't seem inclined to hope.

The Curator Presents: A World of Horrors
The Curator Presents: A World of Horrors

The first thing you notice is that you find yourself sitting inside a room with barely any illumination, the moonlight coming from the windows the only thing letting you see.

It seems you are in some sort of room, where several bookshelves are placed, some paintings of famous works you barely recognizes and others that you have never heard of, and several statues and other type of decorations filling the space of the room.

What catches most your attention is the man sitting in front of you. He is a middle-aged man, with perfectly combed hair, wearing a white shirt and a vest. He doesn't seem to notice your presence just yet. He is focused on writing in a book, you see as he quickly writes sentences after sentence on a page, before turning to the next one.

You have so many questions, thought something about the man fills you with weariness, interrupting him may not be the wisest move.
As you debate if you should speak out or not, the man finishes writing, puts the pen down and looks, staring right at your eyes.
You don't know why, but the moment your eyes meet a chill goes through your entire body.

…why do you feel like you have met this man before?

"Ahh…Hello." The man starts, a cultured and calm voice escapes from his lips. And while he speak in an amicable tone, you can't help but continue to feel worried. "You are a bit earlier than expected...I…usually have more time to prepare before one of you arrives."

"How…unfortunate." He finishes as he frowns for a moment, his finger tapping the desk, making a loud noise with each hit.

You try to come up with an answer, trying to explain you have no idea how you got here, but before you can utter a word, the man resumes speaking.

"No matter! It was time anyways for another session!" His frown disappears and the man adopts a more jovial attitude, as if nothing was wrong.

…So why couldn't you shake the feeling of impending doom.

He stands up, as he reaches for a candle, and as he lights it up he continues talking.

"Welcome to my repository." He says in a practiced smooth tone. "I am The Curator. Keeper of countless tales. Many of them mankind has had the pleasure of knowing, others…remain hidden, waiting until the right time to come to light." He explains as he puts the candle on the desk between you and him, giving you a bit more of light to see more clearly your surroundings.

"Today…I am going to share a very special tale with you." He says as he walks away from you, towards a bookshelf near a chimney. His hand wanders from line to line of books, looking for one in particular. "Aahhh…yes." He exclaims as he grabs the book and with certain giddiness, retrieves it and walks back to his desk.

You stare at the book and can't help but feel worried by the tale he wanted to share with you.

"Don't worry…it is not as bad as it looks." He tries to reassure you as he joins his hands together and points them at you.

"Now I must warn you. This story…isn't quite fleshed just yet. The choices you decide to make will pave the way to its completion. And while the story may be too vast, and you sometimes feel like the decisions you take don't really matter. Allow me to make one thing clear…" He starts to get closers to you, until his face and yours are inches away.

"Like in life…every choice you make matters, it will always affect others…one way or another." He says with an intensity that left no room for argument.

"Now tell me…Are you ready to begin?" He asks you to confirm.

You take the opportunity to finally speak, trying to explain that you had no idea how you got here and just wanted to get home.
Unfortunately, the man wasn't feeling cooperative today to help you.

"None of that please. While you may don't want to be here, the one true fact is…you currently are in my repository and believe it or not…you have a part to play in this story. Refusal is… not an option."

Your heart sinks when you hear that, despair crawling along your back.

"You don't want to make some… people…. angry right?" He says, thought when he said the word "people", you felt he wanted to say another thing.

"I must warn you, the story you are going to see isn't for the faint of heart, is one deep in darkness, where the shadows have taken life, and unspeakable nightmares lay waiting in every corner, ready to jump at you at the first sight of weakness to devour your light." He narrates, and somehow, you felt the light dim out and darken his face as he continued talking.

"Unfortunately, it is not my place to interfere you see…just to record your every choice." He says as he twists his mouth into a frown, not really liking saying this. "Not…my… place, apparently."

"Still, that does not mean I can give a few hints now and then! Do you want to hear some wise words before taking on this herculean task?"

You quickly nod, wanting any help possible.

"Very well!" He smiles as he clears his throat. "From the strong words of Martin Luther King Jr. I tell you…Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." He recites in a deep, calm voice.

You stare for a moment, trying to process those words.

"…Is not that quite funny?" He asks as he starts giggling, which turns into full out laughter.

"Very well…shall we begin?"

You know your heart is not ready for what is coming.

Author note:
The curator belongs to the Dark Pictures Anthology series, one of my favorite games so far. I find his character fascinating and I can't help but wonder what would it feel to have this quest or any of the horror games adapted to the type of games Supermassive Games does.

Hope i was able to convey well the Curator as well as the helpesless of us the questers having to take this daunting task fo guiding the Fazbear franchise.

The book image was made with AI and while I know that can be frowned upon, i do wanted to show a really creeoy and scary book.

Hope you guys enjoyed the small omake!

Glad to see this get another update. Certainly a bit more happening involving FNAF. Will be glad to help if needed.

Might have to reread let alone find what notes and such I have in relation to the 2 omake series, mostly D&S Agency.

Gotta say you did an excellent job portraying the Curator, I definitely got some goosebumps reading this piece. Though the link for the "O death" song isn't working right on my end.
You mean the song "Fear of the dark?" I did not use the usual intro song to be honest, I was debating doing it but i feel like using another song, if it feels more fitting i can change it for the original theme.

Who is the strongest Slasher?
Been pursuing around the thread, getting back into the horror scene and vibe, and finally my brain works enough the remember this was asked. As a horror fan, though not the QM (iirc they already responded), I cannot tell you how complicated of a question that is.

The biggest problem is figuring out even how to answer that. What is a slasher? Which ones even would be active at this time? Did their plot happen? How did it happen? Did their capabilities/conditions/X-Factor get changed in any way? And then we've got to get into regular vs battle shenanigans.

Id put my money on Jason personally not merely because he is pretty strong, but more than that because he's got the Hax to just keep coming back to life regardless of who or what tries to hold him.

Personal favorite being that when Jason dies dies you are compelled to eat whats left of his heart. Then he possesses you're body to do his thing again.

Strongest slasher is either Pinhead or Pennywise, no?
I've never heard of either of them being considered slashers before, not the right style, but even still...no, not really. Pennywise is...Freddy but arguably worse? They're...sharks I guess. Apex predators in their element, sushi out of it.

If you're looking for actual power from your inhuman entity that periodically wakes up to kill people then just take The Creeper honestly.

As for Pinhead, definitely not a slasher and not...really a fighter? Pins and the rest of Leviathans priesthood/cult are really troublesome cause they don't do straight up assaults and it's hard to pin down what's their ability, if their patron is kicking in support, what might be down to the ritual/powers of the Lament Configuration itself.

They could be inhumanely powerful demons that only have to answer to their patron (and if it's that Leviathan then supposedly it's boss(es)) or they could be 'lightly ascended' humans that have as much power as a supervisor making sure the 'machines' are running fine.

Eh. I only considered them slashers because they were present and often lumped in with slashers during the 90's, but fair enough.

I was considering the Creeper as well, but I was even less sure of him. Does he have a set location like Pennywise with Derry? I know the first movie took place in the North Florida countryside (if I remember correctly) but other than that, I'm in the dark.
