MoS is dominating the Parameter crits, Angry-Mango!Shirou is going to dominate the Skill checks with the passenger inside his head doing live commentary on everything.
We just reach the kamoshida boss fight and accidentally knock his ass out in one hit before he can transform into his monster form because we got a crit roll.
It's going to be just like that one Batman joke where he just punches the shit out of Guy Gardner and knocks him out while everyone's laughing/stunned at the fact that it took one punch.

Have you played persona 5? Because if you haven't, basically what happened is in order to get into palaces, you have to put together three key words related to that person: Name, location, and what the target thinks the location is to them.
Shirou, being who he is, either overheard or said the three, and thus caused the app to go off and start to send them to kamoshida's Palace, now we have the option to either run away from makoto so she doesn't get sucked into it, stand our ground and prepare for whatever it's about to do to us, or just chuck our phone and hope for the best.

Moving away from Makoto isn't as bad, but alternatively, having her along for earlier means not having to put up with her stalking us pre 3rd palace

Was gonna make a joke about him hitting someone on the head on account of him being a top tier archer, but then realized for the joke to work he'd have to be aiming at someone

To give a more serious rationale here aside from it just being more interesting to have Makoto involved in the Metaverse from the start - keep in mind we're on Day 1 here. If we want to prevent Shiho's jump it could help to have Makoto on our side here - whether it be because we find cognitive Shiho directly or just because if Makoto brings this up to the principal (who will do nothing) it could redirect his aggro onto us and away from Ann and Shiho and buy us some time.
