Oh well, since Ocean isn't going to catch up:

[X] A shadow. Darkness that followed me whenever I went.

While possible, every demiservant we've met thus far have acted like their Heroic Spirit counterparts.
*points out the difference between the Arthur that led Kotone to class, and Nero's shy imouto*

Also, there might be... disadvantages to having too good of a compatibility with a Heroic Spirit.

Sure, you get access to their skills, but at the cost of their existence overlapping with yours.

This might be fine for some people, but how does it feel becoming a whole other person? What happened to your original self?

… An infinity. Tied together with one and being one in the same time.

It was an experience akin to entering the cold water. My whole existence was swallowed by the never-ending flow of information. I saw what happened before, what is happening and what will happen. The absolute, unchanging stream of events that was humanity passed through my eyes.

I was at peace. Despite everything, among this torrent of data, there was something else. Mixed with anger and resentment, envy and despair, arrogance and pity, was eternal love. The single truth that humans could love each other, that humans love each other.

Compassion. Empathy. Love. Affection. Kindness. Sacrifice. For an unknown reason, I was swallowed whole by those feelings. And in the center of this infinity laid the core itself. My mind was screaming not to connect with this thing, but something inside me longed for this center of humanity's knowledge.

"If you touch it, you will become God."

Yet, I hesitated. Like a moth, I was attracted to the light. It was so desirable. I…

"Stop!"

From every direction, came the voice. A sweet, motherly voice. It was tinted with worry and anger, but moreover, it was full of love. My hand that was outstretched to the thing in the center of everything was grabbed by someone and forcibly pushed back.

I looked at the person. Her eyes were red. A pair of crimson orbs. I saw / seeing / will see them somewhere. It was / is / will be my homeroom teacher. Irisviel von Einzbern. She had / has / will have the same face, the same beautiful face of a mother.

"Himura-chan, listen to me! This place is dangerous! You must wake up! Now!"

I don't understand. This place was / is / will be so beautiful. I desired / desiring / will desire to remain here forever. Because I was / am / will be an infinity, together with everyone, connected to everyone, being everyone.

"Wake up!"

… I… I

Point of View. Caster.

Tamamo never was a morning person. Sure, she still was pretty energetic, but compared to her usual self, she was barely functioning. Yet, today was different. Because the living corpse known as Tamamo in the morning was happily walking down the dormitory's hall.

"I wonder if Kotone-chan is awake yet," she muttered. Just thinking about her new friend made her smile. Himura Kotone, the transfer student that appeared out of nowhere, was a mystery for the whole school the moment the announcement was made. And underneath this mystery was a true angel.

Finding the right door, she gently rapped against it. When no sound came from behind the door, she grew a bit worried. The person that was living together with her friend wasn't bad per se. In fact, she was barely living there in-between her duties and occasional missions she undertook.

Finally, she strained her ears and heard some sound… a breathing, strained.

The door burst open, followed by worried Tamamo. There, on the bed, her dear friend was sleeping. Her breath was ragged, face wet with sweat and red from heath. Just a touch was enough to realize that the girl's body was burning.

Not hesitating even for a moment, Tamamo picked her in a bridal carry and rushed to the infirmary.

Point of View. Roman.

Romani Archaman's days were pretty uneventful so dat. Demi-servants' physiology was so that the mundane illnesses never bothered them, while those who liked to fight usually asked for help their more support-aligned classmates. And so, his everyday life was lending some students bed to crash in exchange for shortcakes from the store he liked.

That said, the appearance of the new transfer student changed his routine a bit. Here for less than a day and already in the infirmary. Truly, the more powerful was the demi-servant, the more problems they attracted. And according to the tests, Himura Kotone was probably the second strongest person in this school, teachers included.

Nonetheless, when a certain fox-eared student practically busted his door out, carrying a barely conscious student in her arms, he was still deadly worried. Although, he probably knew the reason for this. He urgently prepared a single bed for the girl and ordered for her to be put there.

"D-Dr. Roman, what's wrong with her," asked the worried student.

"Usually, the process of becoming a demi-servant takes about a year at best. Since the bodies need to be gradually reshaped into proper vessels first."

"I-I don't understand…"

"However, in her case, the process is happening right now. Imagine something that takes a year cramped into a few minutes. And worse, we can't call any students with restorative abilities because the backlash might be too much for her."

He hated this. He hated seeing a student under his care in pain. Looking at haunted eyes of Tamamo, she put his hands on her shoulders.

"Listen," he said. "For now, go to the classes like usual. I'll be monitoring her here. After all, it's an adult's job to fuss over their kids." Roman hoped that the reassuring smile he gave her was enough. The girl just nodded, looking shocked to the core, and left, but not before giving the body sprawled on the bed a long, tired look.

"Oh, give me a break," he said. It was almost like somebody switched the difficulty level from "easy" straight to "nightmarishly hard." The excess prana coming from the girl's body needed to be put somewhere, otherwise it would incinerate her from inside out. Now, let's hope he still remembered how to do this…

Point of View. You.

I opened my eyes and experienced a severe case of déjà vu. The same white ceiling of the infirmary. As for my dream… what was that? I could barely remember anything besides… a voice. That was strange.

I looked down and saw that I was still in my pajamas. Eh? Then, how did I end up here. Searching for an answer, I found the uniform put neatly next to me with an attached note.

"Everything's fine,

Dr. Roman."

"T-That…"

It was strange. My whole day, from the point one, was strange. Looking around, I found no one and quickly changed my clothes. For an unknown reason, my pajamas were soaked with sweat. Horrible. Just horrible.

Now, what should I do?

[] Wait for Dr. Roman.

[] Go to the classroom.

[] Sleep.

[] Write-In.

That's probably a moth, if that's the metaphor you're looking for.

Well, whaddya know.
Those fox ears do come in handy.

Fluffy.

Prana and transfers in the Nasuverse are often...

... composed of CG imagery of animals.

"Everything's fine,

Dr. Roman."

Best way to find what servant we turned into, if we turned into one.

Very much, not to mention mod slap worthy.

Most likely, Romani just used a prana bypass to offload the excess prana somewhere... or into something. Like removing extra water from a bucket.
Quite literally. Just drain some energy rich blood out and refill her from blood packs.
It works for vampires, and I'd bet there's at least one vampire based demiservant to prepare those for.
