WHY AM I OUTSIDE? Calm, calm... I slow my breathing down. I didn't think that I could get drunk enough to pass out outside.

hmm... interesting question for the purpose of this story right now the ring is going to be a distinctly different source of power to Mana therefore will not be able to be used to fuel a servant or use class cards. Sort of a science vs magic type scenario.

Well in the fic, a Blue Ring (under the blessing of it's patron entity) was able to keep Saber powered up after her connection to Rin was cut.
The A.I. in the Green Lantern Ring was able to hack or better said 'fix' Avalon and changed the 'settings' on the thing to give it's full benefits to Shirou.
When asked how, the ring simplified replied by stating that while Fae where old beings, the Guardians (who made the ring) are OLDER than the Fae.

Yeah this kind of stuff, are things you really need to think about in terms of just how the two verses interact with each other.
Personally, I'm at the opinion that nasuverse would trump a power Ring in understanding due to the conceptual nature of nasuverse stuff. For example, Gae Bolg in how its curse outright reverses Cause and Effect would be outright confusing to the ring as it would be something both it and the Guardians would rarely ever have to deal with.
Just like how Type-aliens from the Nasuverse are really alien to the humans, stuff from the Reverse side of the Moon such as the Fae would also be utterly alien to Aliens such as the Guardians and the power rings in terms of understanding.

I don't know the Guardians have a lot of experience dealing with magic bullshit, demons, and reality warpers. In DC the Guardians almost managed to wipe out magic from existence, and instead had to seal what remained of magic onto certain planets (one being Earth) and created the Starheart to hold the remaining magical energy from an empire spanning 3 galaxies.
The Guardians are ridiculous. Using technology they developed, one of them was able to do the DC equivalent of watching the birth of the Root.

In answer to the first question while my personal philosophy does not view killing as never acceptable I'm not arrogant enough to assume I could go from normal to straight up murdering people immediately without feeling anything, I mean maybe if I compartmentalized it as 'these aren't real people' he could kill people but if someone started weeping and begging for their life he would have a hard time. The SI is also going to avoid taking actions that would endanger others if possible because he feels that if he's to loud the Church or the magus association might take exception to his existence. (edit subconsciously feels that)
in answer to the second question he hasn't, yet.
Mostly cause even in real life I tend to jump between tasks and topics of conversation quickly, generally having to 'reset' my train of thought to get back on topic. Because he's in an unknown situation it's in the back of his mind and he'll get to it eventually cause he's dis-organised and low-key panicking.

Right so that's done and I have plenty of regular clothes to wear. I'm currently wearing a casual suit black tie, white shirt, grey jacket and pants. Cause even if everything else has changed I'm going to try to be a classy motherfucker, although armour is a long term goal. It's just I'm not sure how contemporary armour would hold up against servants, I mean I'm pretty sure lancer cut through steel beams like it was paper.
I mean how strong are power rings compared to servants anyway? I mean servants seem to be at least strong enough to cut through steel beams with no issue and I know for sure that I couldn't do what lancer did to that truck in the Heaven's feel movie.
If I end up fighting something in that weight class I'm going to have to marshal my resolve.

the MC was outside his own home pre-isakaing i'm not sure if I was clear about that.
MC didn't look inside the house he just confirmed that Shirou existed and was listed as living at an address.

I take a seat on in a cafe on the side of the street, well it's not really a proper cafe it's more of a quasi-restaurant thing but it works well enough with tables outside in the sun. I lean back in the uncomfortable metal chair and bring the cup of hot tea to my mouth. I only ever drink coffee when I was desperate and generally find tea much more enjoyable, either way, I haven't seen Shirou come past here on the way to school yet which is strange.
Then I see her, the first thing I notice is pale white hair.
That causes me to think 'Hmm that's odd I'm pretty sure white hair isn't common in Japan, especially with... Red, eyes?'
My mouth falls agape, an Einzbern homunculus... child… in Fuyuki.
I almost drop my tea.
She's in a schoolgirl uniform.
I'm actually stunned.
she shouldn't be here, I mean I've confirmed that this isn't the world I'm used to it just never hit me until I actually saw one of them.
Ring where does she live?

Ok, I'm not sure what is happening anymore I'm almost certain she never attended school in canon. No, wait it could be a complete coincidence that a person resembling an Einzbern homunculus is living with Shirou.

So Shirou's living with Illya, Sella and Leysritt, interesting I'm not sure of any scenario where that happened. That means the next option is to find out if Kiritsugu is dead yet I mean presumably he was successful in breaking Illya out of the EInzbern castle given she's here, does that mean he broke the curse he had on him after fate/zero?
Could he do that? I assumed that if he could he'd have done it in stay night?
I let out a sigh If only I had widespread knowledge of fate. I mean I did have a bit of a binge on Type-moon products but I was never I hardcore fan if I really rack my brain I could probably figure out what's happening.
