[X] Screw supplies for now. You can rough it for at least one night.
-[X] Explore the immediate area.

-----------------------

"I think our best move for now would be to explore the immediate area." you say, "Just to get our bearings a bit more now that we have a place to stay. Getting some supplies can honestly wait until tomorrow."

"...E-Even a light source?" Youmu questions.

"We could make due with moonlight if we remain up here near the front..." you say, which seems to somewhat put her at ease, "Anyway, shall we get moving?"

"Right now?" Youmu frowns as she sits down on an old booth, "I-I'd like to at least warm up a bit more... Plus that jacket is uncomfortable for you, right?"

You frown for a moment, "Hmm... Fair enough. We can afford to rest for a bit then."

With a small nod, you remove the jacket, sighing involuntarily in relief as your cords shift to a more natural position after being compressed so close to your skin for so long, before tossing it onto a nearby table. Afterwards, you find a suitable seat for yourself and plunk yourself down on top of it as you allow your third eye to roam the room.

To pass the time, you take out the odd trinket you found after whatever that ordeal was and turn it over in your hands. Curiously enough, with your third eye exposed, you quickly detect faint traces of thought emanating from it, though they are quite fragmented, much like the trace thoughts that bleed through when you look at someone who's asleep and dreaming. Unfortunately, if that's the case, then that's about all you're going to get. Dreams are primarily the realm of the subconscious after all, so unless you were Koishi or a baku, there is no real way for you to directly access whatever's going on in there...

...Well there is one way... but that's honestly something you're never going to do... Especially after witnessing firsthand what that method can do to a satori's mind... Besides, there's no guarantee it would even work in the same way it did for her...

Shaking some unpleasant memories out of your head, you stare down at the trinket. At least now you know that whatever it is, it has some sort of mind attached to it, and that -- judging by how familiar the fragments of its mental voice sounds -- it's likely closely connected to the entity it fell out of.

With a curious hum, you pocket the trinket once more. Perhaps you could examine it more later, when you have the time...

After resting for a while, you once again put the jacket on and prepare to head out once more. Making sure the coast is clear, you step outside with Youmu following behind you, looking a bit relieved to be out of the dark building.

A glance at the sky seems to suggest that it's currently mid afternoon as you walk down the street. At the first opportunity, you turn off, taking note of the sign apparently marking the name of the street your current "base" is located on as you head out into uncharted territory. As you make the turn, you also end up catching a glimpse of something small and white out of the corner of your eye, but it retreats around a corner before you can get a better look...
As you travel, you begin to mentally map out the area to the best of your ability. It seems this is some kind of commercial district, judging by the abundance of restaurants, pubs, and stores you pass by and the lack of anything that seems to resemble a residence. After passing several streets, you decide to turn off again right before the district transitions into a somewhat shadier looking part of the city. You continue to walk in parallel to this section for a while before turning off yet again and heading back towards the original street.

Once you arrive, you note that you're just down the street from the mall. Crossing the road, you continue into yet another district. This one is full of tall structures of unknown purpose, though a few of them have some kind of nonsensical word followed by "Corporate Offices" on a sign somewhere on their front... Eventually, you reach a point where you can see some kind of metal rail system running perpendicular to the road in the distance, and you decide to turn off once more.

As you progress down this new road, about halfway down you spot a street sign indicating something called a "Train Station" somewhere off to the left. You wonder if it has anything to do with those rails you glimpsed earlier, but you honestly wouldn't know for sure unless you saw it yourself. However, such an adventure could honestly be saved for another day.

Eventually, you see a street name identical to the first one you turned off of. Assuming this isn't a different street with the same label, you make one final turn to head back towards where you started. A quick glance at Youmu shows that she seems to be holding up fine, though she is obviously showing some signs of minor discomfort from having to keep her phantom half concealed. Oh well, at least she wouldn't have to endure it for much longer.

As you return to the original street, you notice a blonde teenager on the other side of the road. Honestly, you wouldn't have paid her any mind if not for her rather strange hairstyle that makes her stand out: A pair of twintails stylized into some sort of helical pattern. You also note that she seems to be occasionally glancing at her hand for whatever reason... As you get close to passing her, she suddenly quickens her pace and turns down a nearby alley. You also spot that small flash of white again, this time inside an open window above where the girl was walking, which once more retreats from view when you attempt to focus on it.

While a peculiar sight, it's not really any of your business. That being said, you...

[] Keep going and call it a day. You've accomplished your current goal, plus it would be nice to get out of this coat...
[] Decide to follow the girl. Perhaps something is happening in that alleyway?

We've been spotted, boys.

Kyuubey is as sus as ever, I see. Also, Mami showed up - I can't see any reason not to say hi and/or get in another fight.

Chasing white rabbit is possible but catching white rabbit would require combat speeds out of Youmu I think.

[X] Keep going and call it a day. You've accomplished your current goal, plus it would be nice to get out of this coat...

Objective complete, let's be comfortable for a while at least and plan the next move.
Also it amuses me to have these two ships pass in the... afternoon.

Honestly I'd rather leave Mami for tomorrow, but I can't think of a justifiable reason beyond mild paranoia. She's dangerous in a fight, but she's not much of a shoot first think never type. We should be fine. Satori might piss her off with a smart comment or two, but I doubt she'll attack over simple words.

[X] Decide to follow the girl. Perhaps something is happening in that alleyway?
=====================

"That girl across the street just now... something about her seemed peculiar, did it not?" you ask, coming to a halt.

"Uh... Well she had interesting hair I guess?" Youmu replies with a somewhat perplexed look

"Yes, though did you notice how she seemed to keep glancing at her hand and how she suddenly quickened her pace and went down that alley?" you question, "I realize it's probably none of our business, but perhaps something interesting is happening in there? Besides, I doubt a young girl would just enter a random alley alone for no reason."

"I guess that makes sense..." she nods, before sighing, "We're going to follow her, aren't we?"

"Indeed. Stay close." you nod, waiting for a lull in the flow of metal carriages in the road before quickly cutting across, with Youmu following close behind. You motion for her to keep quiet as you get closer to the alley and peer around the corner.

Curiously, you see no sign of the girl, though you do see a large metal bin full of refuse, much like the one in the alley you landed in when you were sent here. You don't doubt the possibility the girl could be behind it and out of view. As you slowly creep down the path, you expose your third eye ever so slightly to check for any stray thoughts, ready to cover it again at a moment's notice if you find anyone.

Unfortunately, you don't seem to sense anything as you draw closer to the metal bin. Cautiously peering around the edge, you find that the two of you are indeed the only ones here.

"So uh..." Youmu speaks up after a moment, "You sure this is the right alley?"

"I'm positive." you nod, looking around for any potential exits to the alley, frowning as you find none, "I didn't see her leave the way she came in, so either she vanished or there's another exit to this alley that we haven't noticed..."

"Maybe she went up?" the half phantom suggests, glancing up.

"Given the size of these buildings it would be impossible for her to have scaled one fast enough... It's possible she might've flown, but considering how we've yet to see any humans capable of magic, that's unlikely."

"Do you think it has anything to do with whatever that cold place was?" Youmu asks, "I mean, we did end up back in that dark room eventually, so maybe something similar happened here?"

"Hmm... I mean it's possible, though if that were true, then that would just bring up more questions than answers."

"Perhaps I could provide some of the answers you seek?" a childlike voice suddenly rings out in your head. It seems like Youmu heard it too, if her startled yelp is any indication.

Quickly covering up your third eye, you glance about searching for a potential source of the voice, before noticing a white, catlike creature sitting in the middle of the alley behind you. Its unblinking red eyes studying you as its long tail swishes in apparent interest.

You also note that this creature looks exactly like the one in the picture Yukari showed you.

"W-Whoa! It's that thing!" Youmu exclaims.

"Oh, so you've heard about me?" the creature tilts its head, its voice again ringing in your mind. You suspect it's some form of telepathy if you were to guess, "How interesting..."

[x] "We've heard a lot. Is any of it true?" See what the creature tells you, try not to reveal that you didn't exactly 'hear' about it, per se.

Some kind of interrogation, but I think some amount of subtlety is useful.

Not the best plan ever, I'm sure, but it's what I got :V

Putting aside making deals with the devil, I wonder if Youkai want to make wishes if it makes their desires come true, I mean Youkai are stronger than humans in mind and body.
See or restoring her sister Koishi again...
