[Exalted] What character from another work would fit into Exalted with few changes?

Wouldn't he technically be a God, due to the whole Mantra thing?
At the very least I sincerely doubt that his soul structure resembles anything human.
Technically he is a cyborg powered by a divine energy source, at least that's how I prefer to take it as. Didn't think about the soul structure though, yes. Depends on whether Asura's Wrath demigods are just extremely advanced humans who chose to augment themselves with Mantra powered prosthesics, or a completely separate species altogether at this point.

Asura from Asura's Wrath is clearly a Dawn, undergoing the most epic Limit Break ever. If anything, it would make him more versatile instead of stronger.

Uh, no.

Firstly, his power is not rooted in martial prowess. Everything exceptional about him (for a demigod) is rooted in his personality and his rage. His power is derived from the Mantra of Wrath, and that's what he embodies.

Secondly, his story is defined by personal failure and the entire story is him trying to overcome it. His wife was killed and his daughter was taken and he couldn't stop it. His tale is a scream of rage against the world, not one of personal arete.

Thirdly, he literally gets so angry he turns into a blackened-skin demon.

Asura is an Infernal, who mixes Malfeas and Infernal Monster Style (and far too many IMS expansion charms, like the ones @Revlid made ages ago).

(Now, on the other hand, Yasha is much more in the Solar-Sidereal themespace, because although his Mantra is Melancholy, he's really more defined by being a badass martial artist who's stylish as fuck and poses after zipping around as a blue blur. He's the rival, who's defined as being more skilled than Asura but less strong)

The only reason why I'm kinda iffy on saying that Asura is an Infernal is that, well, never once he'd managed to harm an innocent, even accidentally. Although I might be accidentally mistaking the old Abyssal "can't do nice things without creating a small nuclear fallout" with Infernals. Not sure, I'm mainly familiar with the second edition.

There is nothing about an Infernal Exaltation which means that you must hurt 'innocent' people. And Solars do not have a monopoly on righteousness. Both of these are conclusions which come out of pretty critical core axioms of Exalted.
