What I'm hearing is "you need to give lessons on stunting, stat!"
Fortunately,
this is a topic that's been covered in Exalted quests before!
Surely if we steal that lecture nothing will go horribly wrong.
Right, I do need to make a decision on (Amu's) stunting. Here it is:
Stunting is not a thing. It doesn't really make sense in a written story, with me being both the writer and the judge. Instead, she gets a high rate of mote regeneration while in combat; fluff-wise, that's her exaltation shard dumping its own reserves into her peripheral pool.
Once out of combat, the regen drops to its usual rate, basically for efficiency reasons. Also to let the shard recover its own reserves. You have a battery capable of holding a few hundred motes, which is significant but by no means infinite, and I
will call you on that if required.
Willpower is basically plot-driven, and recovers quickly while she's relaxing or when she's acting in concert with her virtues. But it's also a proxy for her mental exhaustion, and permanent willpower will fluctuate depending on how tired she is. If it drops by half, that's roughly the point where she'll faint from exhaustion.
Your stunts, on the other hand, modify the overall plot. Not (usually) directly, though I'll happily retcon events you haven't actually seen to make the story fit better, but Amu's decisions - and my own suggestions for the shard's advise - are rarely optimal. Giving me more detail can push things in either direction, but should usually improve the outcome; at the very least, it'll make whatever outcome you were aiming for more likely. (Often whether or not that turns out to be a good idea.)
