They were apparently allies and just tried to stab them in the back. Attacking will not work as it will start a feud and the ninjas are just a borrowed power, our group would do badly once we finished our mission.

Trying to give them back and open up discussion will make our group of nomads look weak.

Just go over the next hill with better pastures and integrate the young men. This gives our group of nomads a chance to learn some ninja techniques of its own and help it defend itself better.

1) They refuse to talk, but perhaps you can be more convincing? It's possible at least.
2) These aren't what you'll do, they're what you're arguing for. The DC on, "Ignore it" is the highest, so just noting that if you fail to convince him, you're going on the mission anyways.

I guess that by confront you don't mean to attack but to ask them what the hell is going on, right?

The tribe we are protecting is already scraping by, so I don't want to eat up resources on them like that. Considering how they refused to back down, I guess they are either a)desperate (so something really bad happened to them) or b) they were coerced into doing it. It could also be retribution for something our tribe did (read, the secret mission that the suposed-ninja-family did, but then they wouldn't be so quiet about it. So I'm betting coerced. If that's the case, I doubt we can convince the prisioners to talk (specially since we don't speak their language), but sending people increases the chances of finding out what is going on. Besides, there's this quote of the update:

The way it's phrased it sounds like Masato is guiding the conversation. Sure, he doesn't want to go in a rampage, but he still points out the problem of not acting, though subtletly. I bet that if we argued for ignoring the problem we would have his "support"... and would be more difficult because of it. he might have a secret agenda.

It might be just me grasping at straws, but we alreadyhave faced someone with bird summons in this Act, haven't we?

Thinking about it more, we're going to be on this mission with Masato. Masato could be working for anyone, so I really don't trust him. Going on the mission/leaving the group might be exactly what Masato wants. (We could be walking into an ambush, for example.) It's not like we need five ninja to pull it off, but it'd be really dangerous to split our group. I almost made a vote to split the group, but I've reconsidered.

They are nomads, trying take stuff from other nomads.

Instead of asking for help, they just tried to backstab their friends. It is what they do :V

Just go off on our merry way and try to marry the young men with this tribe. Steal their tech Bring the knowledge of Chakra enhancement to our own their tribe. These lands are big and our people wander anyway. We just need to go too far for them to affect us and we would be fine.

It's not actually a tie. Interrogate wins 8-7, but Karmaoa's vote is separate for some reason (typo somewhere?). Merge that back in, and the victor is clear.
