Ok guys, the last chapter really bothered me so I went back and put a bit more work into the confrontation with Maldis. The result was only altered slightly so if you dont want to reread the whole thing then there will be a summary of changes below.

For those who don't want to go back and reread just know that I lessened the amount of damage Maldis did and the SI is now both sending Doom Guy after the carrier and planning a new capital ship.
