Sony had some of the nicest trailers, but their presentation was overtly fucked by the whole "Move to a different room for the rest of the show" nonsense, which left a ton of dead air.
Nintendo's was pretty good, but no Animal Crossing and no Metroid make it a loss.
Microsoft was overall pretty damn solid, with a lot of good games shown off and some hints towards the next-gen.
Ubisoft was a lot of cringe, and some really good reveals.
Bethesda had a bad concert, a sad Fallout 76 reveal, a somewhat limp Doom and Prey reveal, and then brief hype at the end showing off ES6 and Starfield.
EA: SPORTS!

I still think that the real winner was Devolver.

Gave everyone the game they wanted and also made the show hilarious.

Xenoblade DLC would be way more hype if it was more than just confirmation of a leak from a month ago.

I would have mentioned Devolver in my summary, but that would have been unfair to all the other conferences.

I am so fucking confused about E3's schedule. Whenever I look it up, it says that it starts at 2 today, but that's apparently not the case.

Kinda wondering what Nintendo's going to announce tomorrow/Thursday. Today was for Smash mostly, but they're following last year's model and spreading the announcements over three days, iirc.

I was a little disappointed that they didn't show Metroid Prime 4, and I'm a little wary of the new Fire emblem do to the MU returning-I really hope the writing is on par with echoes, but I was hyped for Smash Ultimate, I'm so glad those rumors of It being a port of 4 was fake.

Game industry person from LA here, I'll be attending Wednesday and Thursday. Let me know what you guys want pictures of or opinions on and I'll try my best to get them.

Some good news for Splatoon 2 fans: The devs promised to support the game for no less than a year after launch, which means out to July. They just announced that they'll keep it going through at least December of this year.

Also, we're getting Octo Expansion Octoling Amiibos sometime this year. Speaking of the expansion, we now have a (simultaneous) release date: The evening of June 13 in NA, or equivalent in your region (so most of the world gets it sometime on the 14th).

Yeah, that's right, Octo Expansion is coming tomorrow!

Definitely Cyberpunk 2077. If there are floor demos of Ghost of Tsushima, Devil May Cry 5 and Sekiro, those would be worth a look, too.

e: oh, oh, Ace Combat 7! That's definitely on the floor at E3. Please check it out.
