As, generally, crippled Druchii, there aren't many career paths open to the barracks mothers. Consort or wife of a noble is just about the highest they can get, and that sort of move can only be achieved by being able to convince a noble that their ability to raise children is of such high quality that it ensured success even for someone else's child and that she'd only do better with her own

Another thing to keep in mind is that, as far as your character knows, she actually enjoyed raising the lot of you, and might be subway unhappy if any of you died. It's a point of pride for her barracks that you've all managed to survive until now.
Feel a bit like I rambled here, but this is all on my phone. Give me an hour to get home and ask for clarification if you need it.
Remember when your commander said to you guys that if any of you died he'd demote all of you? Well that's cause he was afraid of her. She's relatively zealous and only no longer a soldier because she's collapsed a lung.Wait....we all managed to survive? In a watchtower of all places?
Holy shit, she is good at her job.
Making a case for her to be a Consort to a noble may not be that much of a stretch.
but Mass is on in about eight hours
It's Sunday in Jerusalem.
You didn't need to respond to that
We'll it's too late now.
Still not dead, and the first part of that extra obligation I mentioned just got completed. I don't really know if there's any way I can reward you guy's patience, but just know I'm not abandoning this.
Maybe I could pay someone to do a custom drawing of the MC? Something to consider.
Bruh. What patience? Its barely been more than a day.
I've waited far longer for updates.
Don't feel guilty, just update when inspiration and interest strikes, we'll be around.
Juicilly done. Lemme eat dinner and then I'll get on it.
Thanks for sticking around for as long as you did. Honestly, grammar and spell checking is, like, 70% of Beta-ing.Gotcha.
Not willing to Beta because I'm rather bad at critiquing other peoples work, I'd just be a grammar and spell check aid.
