Marines and Pirates battle with one another across the breadth and width of the world's many oceans and seas. Where they clash, lands and waters run red with righteous and corrupted blood. Pirates seek out the legendary One Piece, the legendary treasure of Gol D. Roger. Marines strive to bring these outlaws to justice! Common folk the world over try to eke out a living without being crushed between these two great forces. Those fed up with the brutality and oppression of the World Government's 800 year rule try to bring about a Revolution.
Above it all, the Celestial Dragons enjoy seats of unequaled power and privilege in their Holy Land.
Yet, a storm unlike any other approaches. Many things in this world are mutable. The heart is a fickle thing. Memories can be forgotten. People die. Stories end. But, there is truth. A great man once said: 'Destiny, Fate, Dreams. These unstoppable ideals are held deeply in the hearts of men. As long as there are people who seek freedom in this life, these things shall not vanish from the earth.'
Men and women with burning dreams take their first steps onto the stage. Destiny's unstoppable drumbeat builds towards a crescendo.
Into this tumultuous age and era, you are born.

(A/N: Welcome one and all to my newest One Piece quest. I believe I've learned quite a bit from my previous One Piece quest, and I hope you all join me on this adventure! Unfortunately, AMDND is officially dead now, though certain elements from that quest may find their way here! Because of difficulties with scheduling with @Vesvius I'll be running this quest solo! Hopefully, it will turn out to be a successful venture. Once my Wheel of Time/ASOIAF quest concludes, the updates for this should speed up. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the ride!)

Your training complete, you have signed on incognito to accumulate experience on the recommendation of your guard captain, and gain a better view of your responsibilities from the ground level.

Remind me again when the last update for that one was?
I love the idea of JoJo in One Piece, but having the same name seems too close to a crossover. That said, I'm still tempted.
I'm leaning towards barehanded over weapon user this time around. A Marine could be interesting, but we'd have to stomach the shit the World Government gets up to unless we want to join the Revolutionary Army.
