[X] If he'd like to... show you how it's done.

I mean I like him but we can't really commit to a route til we've got all the love interests so :V

Belial provides a pretty casual, low-stress way for Eldingar to come to terms with this part of himself in a setting that's safe and pretty supportive.

This, specifically, is what convinced me.

[X] If he'd like to... show you how it's done.

Eldingar needs sweetness, sure, but I think this has the potential to be just as, if not more sweet, than a date. And Belial is probably the best possible person to guide us through this sort of thing.

I'm the wrong kind of gay to be interested in this from a prurient angle, but I think this would actually be good for our big blue dolt.

To note is that Belial specifically mentions he does the 'first date' thing for a lot of other people without leading it into anything longer term. Really, both options aren't going to lock into Belial route yet or whatever, so uhh one is handholding lewds and the other is bodyrubbing lewds and that's basically the decision here.

ahboi

I would also like to come out and say that even though I vote for Dating, I pretty much agree 100% with what @TenfoldShields was saying. Eldingar doesn't really strike me as the type who wants to wait for a true love's kiss and be with that person forever because watched way too much Disney as a kid. Especially considering how he dreamt of getting swept away by a sexy incubus when he was younger (oh fancy that, an old wish that can be fulfilled), those aren't generally known for being steady boyfriends.
There's always the question of how much the personality of a Quest's protagonist that can be molded by the voters, but Zerban's generally tend to have strong predetermined personalities and there's a plan for where they're going (and if anyone don't believe he planned this, take a second look at the tags).

It's also definitely true that sex is almost always a/the climax of the love story and almost never something that happens near the beginning, which makes a story that doesn't do that naturally interesting. And I have no doubt Zerban can pull off such an "unusual" story.

Of course, that's also part of the reason I vote dating. I like having it used as a climax that signifies the end of a lot of trials and tribulations for the couple.

(also, this is openly a harem quest. If you're afraid we're getting locked into a single route before 5 of the people from the opening music video have shown up, you're being silly)

'Mee-ma-mo!' the familiar seems to agree.

"Are we keeping it? Tell me we're keeping it!"

"Y-yes we're keeping it," you answer haltingly, taken rather off-guard. "Like I said it's Abzu's familiar, they can see and hear through it so we can communicate if the need arises."
And they were roommates.

Oh my god they were roommates.

badabing badaboom, you're really cohabitating now, you've gone and adopted a... pet... together

As much as the idea of Eldingar awkwardly fumbling his way through a date appeals to me, bucking genre conventions appeals to me even more.

I love this quest so much. This was a great chapter.
I was thinking the experienced guy was the one to go to next. I Just want to hug that blue dragon with how sad some thing about him are, and getting a nice talk like this was good to see.

Holding out for one person is not for everyone, especially when you can enjoy wonderful people while everyone is still alive and living in the moment. Some people need that, but not everyone.

Jun-ho and Abzu need to meet. Jun-ho is adorable and needs more things to gush over, and Abzu needs more reasons to talk and surprise us.

All of the cute things are ours.

Hey, I'd be seduced by the talk Belial just gave. Maybe Eldingar has different tastes, but there's little harm for him in trying out the sexy stuff with someone who's nice and you're kind of attracted to and who knows what they're doing, right?

Interesting analysis on sex, relationships and why people can shy away from them, Zerban. Where do folks who aren't interested in sex at all fall in the incubus's experience?
