It feels very different to me, though. Kind of like the difference between the "Black Divine" and "White Divine". It would feel very weird for people to conflate those, and yet I don't think I've seen that happen.
Those situations aren't the same at all. "Black" and "white" are English words, they have a clear meaning and are easy to remember (linguistically it's enormously common to have Black and White, Light and Dark, etc as opposing forces- it fits an ancient mold). By contrast the only difference is the presence or absence of "Tal". It's not impossible to remember but it's an objectively minute difference.

I don't see much point to emphasizing this. People make mistakes, focusing on it this much feels like a cheap gotcha.
 
Spitballing about the Antiva questline.

If the governor who shows up is both the only representative of civilian government and also the guy who sold them all out while the Antivan Crows unaccountable murderhobo approach is held up as ideal then we'll know this really is a Bioware game at heart. :V

Don't forget a certain someone before the end of either Act 1 or 2, but it's much more satisfying to tall to them imo.
