Doing Reaserch (Starcraft)

[X] A lot of machinery goes into harvesting and caring for the various fruit, that's a good place to start.

improving the machines around the lemons might also be a method to increase the lemon production

[X] Improving a Fruit Strain.(Lemons)

We must make them the bane of all zerg, not just zerglings

Lemons!
[x] Lemons!

Well if lemons as a fruit are profitable and are under threat than cooperate is going to want nothing more than to improve on them. You personally excessively strongly dislike the taste of lemons but well your thankfully not being hired to taste them. Corporate would have to give you a significant pay raise to make you even consider that.

Given current events it seems that the Zerg agree with you on that dislike. Odd that you'd agree with a swarm of angry killer bugs on anything but apparently you do. Really you have mixed feeling about that little fact the Zerg did mercilessly slaughter your home colony so even though you don't like lemons yourself you suppose you could consider this not aiding a fruit you don't like but instead a form of petty revenge.

Now.... how to improve the most hated of fruit?

You have 35 Points to spend.
[] Doom Lemons!: Lemons do have a very week corrosive element to them... you should totaly increase that!.... only if the tree is attack before the lemons are ready of course. 10 Points.
[] More lemons per tree: You could also make the tree that are present more productive... it'll take some effort to do so without risking quality or other favorable traits but it can be done. 10 Points.
[] New Flavor: Well you've heard new flavors can be interesting for people... may as well make some. Choose from Extra Sweet, Extra Sour, Ulta internse, Mild. Can be taken once for each flavor, 5 Points each.
[] Survivalist: The remaining Lemon trees are on planets that are less suited to there preferences... you can change that! 10 Points.
[] Isolation: Just what is it about Lemons that the Zerg hate so much anyway.... better investigate this. 15 Points.

Oh the harvesters won't like to have some danger to harvesting lemons.

More Lemon equal more profit for the Corporate Bosses.

Could give a demand for flavored lemons, especially for food and drinks.

Find a way to make more lemon trees.

[] Isolation: Just what is it about Lemons that the Zerg hate so much anyway.... better investigate this. 15 Points.
Finding out why the Zerg hate Lemons.

This both makes the remaining trees hardier, thus growable on many worlds, and it makes the existing trees more profitable. Also weaponizing lemons against the Zerg!

Discovering Zerg preference by observing which trees do they attack and which they ignore. Sure I don't spend 5 points, but that should subvert the Isolation trait as we use the scientific method like actual scientist.

Sounds as if this can increase our market share for people who do not necessarily like lemons.

More!
[x] More!

Well first off you increased productivity per tree, its an easy enough addition to make. Really the harder part is making sure no other major detriments of not work there way into the modified trees. Nature is such a finally tuned machine... ok countless years of human selective breeding is a tuned machine but its still one thats very easy to break either way, almost as easy to break as hopes or dreams in fact.

This combined with your additional tweaks for adaptability means that the company should be able to more than make up for the looses incurred because of Zerge attacks on the plantations.

Sadly your look into the nature of just why the Zerge has lemons doesn't produce fruit 'heh' you god find a rare chemical that when introduced to an Ultralisk causes spontaneous combustion to the point of not stopping until the beast is naught but a pile of ash... stills its obscure enough that you'd doubt an evil hive mind would pay any attention to it.

At least corporate is pleased with your work to the point of giving letting you choose your next project, the Zerge don't seem to know about the improved productivity of the remain plantations... well yet anyway so thats an issue thats not an immediate problem for now.

Still... what should you work on next?
[] Improving a Fruit Strain. (Choose from Lemons, Banana's, Blueberry's, or Watermelons)
[] Work on a new fruit strain... either one from earth or inventing a new one all together!
[] The companies security forces are having some trouble.... better improve there equipment.
[] Pest control is important... time to work on that!
[] A lot of machinery goes into harvesting and caring for the various fruit, that's a good place to start.

[X] The companies security forces are having some trouble.... better improve there equipment.

Security Equipment Made:
-Shock Trooper: Troopers modified to wear heavy armor and carry large prodes they are perfect for discouraging large beasts. 5 Points.
-Electric Fence: A powerful variant of the electric fence with a shock strong enough to fry Zerglings to a crisp... don't ask how that later part was tested. 5 Points.
-Sniper Rifles: Sniper rifles specialized for extreme ranged warning shots... also powerful enough to break a Hydralisks head right open!.... no asking about that one either. Shame only the troopers with the best aim are going to be able to use it. 10 Points.
-The Watcher: A specalized defense given a clear line of sight and burrowing detection over a long distance perfect for catching people trying to slack off! 10 Points.
Security Equipment Available:
-Predator: The robot cats are a decent enough design, you could probably streamline the maintenance and production of em enough for PF to put it to use in its regular forces. 10 Points.
-Mobile Security Deployement Machine: A random acyonmy you just though up... this is really just a stupidly armored APC to make up for the fact that troopers are squishy... even rioting workers could kill em if they get there hands on a good enough weapon... this will fix that. 5 Points.
-The Condor: A variant on the Old Vulture the Condor is best used to patrol a given area for intruders and is much safer than the Vulture of old... its still very unsafe in a combat situation of course but its still pretty darn good as far as over bikes go. 5 Points.

Lemon Upgrades made:
-More lemons per tree: You could also make the tree that are present more productive... it'll take some effort to do so without risking quality or other favorable traits but it can be done. 10 Points.

Heh, we just gave corporate a weapon. I wonder if this works on the Xel'naga?

-[X] Watermelons

Let's make the next trend. Also because I want to see what you do if them.

lol. Though, I wouldn't be opposed to seeding the universe with non-Zerg, non-Protoss and non Xel'naga life. Like we plant tasty fruits, vegetables, and nuts which jumpstarts evolution or results in plant people.
Security Equipment Made:
I think you need to differentiate what's been made and what's not been made to gain the bonus. I would recommend the box sliders system if only to account for areas we have not done anything with like other fruit strands.

edit: Sort of like, he becomes a Prometheus figure to newly evolved species or a figure in Garden of Eden stories.
