[DISCONTINUED] In the Beginning, There Was Man (WH40k x SC)

Well shit, I suppose I can't rely on Nagash to kill the Chaos Gods for good now.
Depends on how you look at it.

The "no connection" line was more towards the "No, you won't see Chaos Champions parading around with Chain-axes and Power Armour anymore" meaning than anything else.

But theoretically, the Warp is co-terminus will all possible Universes. And the Chaos Gods are unique Entities in the Warp, since all of the emotions they embody are automatically drawn to them. Thus, the Fantasy and 40K Chaos Gods are still the same, because they are fundamental emotions given sentience and sapience. They can't be different entities due to the nature of the Warp making the emotions that power them in 40k and Fantasy being the same.

But you shouldn't expect Sigmar to come to the rescue, because he's limited to Fantasy by his power base.

Hmm...

Surely the Emperor wouldn't want to abandon His Greatest and Most Loyal Servant?

I'm speaking of course of none other than Ciaphas Cain, HERO OF THE IMPERIUM.

Andromeda came to mind because it's a space opera, not because it's objectively good or whatever.

Cain died peacefully in his sleep. Let him rest. He earned it.

How about the Nanohavers ? i bet the Adeptus mechanicus would love to discover Lost logias and it would be cool to have later on Magical Girl Space Mariens who can wipeout entire cities alone.
And how would the TSAB look like after all these years?(if they still exist)

He died millenniums ago during the 41st m

I know, and I know.

However, I dispute the notion that he should be left to rest. He's Ciaphas Cain, for crying out loud, he's not so lucky as to just get a comfortable, uneventful afterlife :p

Besides, if he really is "at the Emperor's side" as the Imperial creed says of martyrs and heroes, then...

You do realize we aren't out the same year we left the 40k verse?

Right, okay, since this bug won't just leave my brain, I'll write it down.

I'm sure there are others, and several of those may be very "blah", but hey, it's a bunch of ideas instead of just like 2-3.

Yes! Thanks for the compile! Makes my life 50x easier.

His not, Cain gambled his way into Star Trek and got a vacation at Risa. Wiped the smirk from Tzeentch and foiled all four Chaos Gods and saved several thousand faithful souls while at it.

Honestly, if anyone thinks to bring Cain back, he'd need Jurgen and Amberley at minimum as well.
Cain succeeded as much because of all the people around him (Jurgen, Amberly and her retinue, the 597th) as he did because of his own skill and charisma.

If you want I can try to keep it updated with other suggestions that come along. Let me know when you want me to stop.

Some of those are a no go do to the fact that it would defeat the entire purpose of the exodus.

Yes please! You can stop onec the updates is out in a couple of hours. <3

Honestly Exalted, Eclipse Phase and really high end settings are out do to it the fact we wouldn't be able win in any of them at all. Any version of creation will automatically try and probably succeed in killing the fleet simply because of fact we don't have similar souls.

Cthulhutech is an maybe to me due to the fact we just came from a grimdark universe. Of course we might be able to survive there. surpreme commander is out do to the fact every fraction could curb stomp us in any planetary engagement. StarCraft would be fun for the same reasons Halo would. We could hold our own in htat one since the zerglings are more like a tamer version of the nids.

I'm not very interested in Eclipse Phase for the crossover, because everyone except the Jovian is some form of Heretek. That would lead to our population freaking out and starting to kill everyone. And yes we could easily do that with our fleet and our Space Marines and whatever high end groundforces the Mechanicus has with them.

Also I'm going to suggest Muv-Luv again. The BETA are pretty straightforward from a moral standpoint. We can probably all agree on killing them all, scouring the galaxy of them and then find their creators.

Gears of War should be pretty much the same, from what I know of it.

Stargate could be interesting.

Mu-luv would be boring do to there be nothing but Beta everywhere. Also don't forget they strip mine planets of resources.

Eh, Gears Of War is a lot of ground-side battles on a single planet. Perfect place to drop in Guardsmen or Space Marines but pretty boring otherwise for our empire-building space-fleet; there might be a few calls for orbital-bombardment but probably not.

Tech-wise, nothing interesting.
Imulsion, while being an efficient energy-source (at least to GOW needs), can be rather mutagenic, since its parasitic and sentient.
