So, here's descriptions for anyone not a Ben 10 fan and my thoughts on the alien forms, part 1.
Gray Matter, aka Galvan
Powers: Super-Intelligence to the Max, innate ability with technology, can stick to surfaces, slipper slime, frog-tongues, amphibious.
Weakness: Small, weak, intelligence does not mean infalliable, lack of knowledge can be impediment
Notes: Distinctly unsuited for direct combat, but their small size, movement capabilities and intelligence make them extremely troublesome foes, especially if they get access to resources they can use to build stuff. In other words, tiny-alien frog Tony Stark form with hiding abilities. Azmuth, the creator of the Omnitrix, is of this species.
Wildmutt, aka Vulpimancer
Powers: Enhanced sense of smell and hearing, forming a sort of radar/sonar, enhanced speed and reaction, enhanced strength and durability, sharp teeth and claws, prehensile limbs, can dig, adults have back quills that hurt.
Weakness: Can't talk, is blind, senses are vulnerable to being overwhelmed or blocked.
Notes: Useful in combat, but is the best at tracking, investigating or detecting hidden opponents. Regardless, useful in most situations.
Heatblast, aka Pyronite
Powers: Literal living lava/plasma and is thus immune/eats heat and fire, pyrokinetic, can generate extreme heat and explosions, native homeworld is a sun, can sorta-fly, can survive underwater for extended periods of time, immune to cold temperatures, enhanced strength and durability.
Weakness: Enough water or fire-retardant can dampen their fire power, though it's not fatal and they quickly recover once removed. Collateral damage prone, on account of all the fire and extreme body heat.
Notes: This the form you want to take if you want to fight Lung. Tough, strong and immune to his fire, and thanks to the Manton effect, likely immune to both things that affect fire/rock
and things that affect living things much like Weld. It's like Weld, Lung and Sundancer combined. Of course, the downside of that is, as mentioned, the extreme collateral this form can cause.
Goop, aka Polymorph
Powers: Living slime, can generate and shoot off slime in blobs or streams, slime can be made acidic or adhesive at will, can regenerate, heat resistant, shapeshift and doesn't need to breathe. Strong, can change density and doesn't breathe. [Anti-Grav benefits: allows the ability to fly at high speeds]
Weakness: Higher gravities then that of their homeworld cause them collapse and lose the ability to properly control their form. Omnitrix compensates by generation an Anti-Grav device above form, but the device is vulnerable to inteference. Isn't particular fast. Omnitrix has trouble being properly attached to body.
Notes: Extreme versatile and useful, it suffers a glaring weakpoint in the fact that Earths gravity is too strong for it, and so an Anti-Grav device is provided to compensate, which produces a huge weakpoint. The weaker bond between this form and the Omnitrix is also an issue.
Brainstorm, aka Cerebrocrustacean
Powers: Super-Intelligence just a bit below the Galvans, intelligence is more around analysis of the environment and enemies to create plans, electrokinesis with a side of technokinesis, can breathe underwater, can develop electrical telepathy and alteration.
Weakness: Slow, needs to expose brain for some applications of electrokinesis, easily prone to getting side-tracked and going on tangents/getting lost in thought(considering Taylors prone to this herself, expect trouble learning this form)
Notes: The strategist/tactician of the forms, there's liable to be a learning curve while Taylor learns to keep focused in this form, but once that's done, it's easily one of the most useful. Observe
