Deus Pater (Exalted/40k)

"I… there was no time," the Admiral says, softly, questioning his own decisions even as he holds their reasons up for your judgement, "You could not be reached, and none could tell us when you would return from pilgrimage. The enemy presses ever-closer, and even a single day of delay could damn the system… we had to have new crew, to replace our losses, and there were… there was no other way…"

You frown, unconvinced. Too often do men such as this protest the necessity of their actions, insisting that their way was the only way even as they refuse all thought of another path. If warp travel is even half as treacherous as you have heard, then measuring delays in days and hours is pointless busywork at best… but even the most self-serving justifications contain a seed of truth at their core, a foundation around which the reasoning is built, and you would be ill-served by a refusal to deny even the most basic of information on the situation beyond the skies of Sanguis.
This seems odd to me - if you don't know how long the journey is going to take, you have no idea what delays are and aren't acceptable - in which case, the correct response is to treat any and all delays as possibly mission-critical.

As for the vote...
[X] Malleus.
This seems to most obviously demonstrate our legitimacy.

Also @Maugan Ra when the heck did we suddenly decide to declare ourselves heir of the Emperor.o_O
I've just binged the entire thing and that concept has never been given thought by ignatious in the canonical posts as of yet.

Good catch! Ignatius is probably going to freak out a bit himself once he realises what he just spoke in a moment of impulse.

(And then worry some more when he realises none of the Adepta Sororitas surrounding him even questioned it)

Ahh Solars. You can always rely on their impulses getting out of hand.

[X] Hereticus

Because it's one thing to just unleash the might of the God-Emperor on those who are truly worth of every single ray of purifying light. But an enemy that might have rebelled for legit reasons? Now that makes a good story.

Vote Called.

Looks like everyone has decided to go and throw down with some daemons. Also a Space Hulk. And there might be Astartes involved? Don't worry, I'm sure its one of the nicer Chapters.

That feel when you have a whole "Good News, Bad News" skit planned out and then realize "Wait, shit, some of these are good plot twists, don't want to steal them from the GM if that's what he had in mind"
