Well, Retribution does involve us storming the bridge and committing violence on the Admiral.I would vote for Retribution, but i might be missing something. Would anyone here be willing to take a guess at the ways these votes could backfire?
SureI am unsure of what to vote for. Usurpation is the least dick way, but could stab us in the back. Judgement is a no go, its the very problem Cardinal set out to correct. I would vote for Retribution, but i might be missing something. Would anyone here be willing to take a guess at the ways these votes could backfire?
It is possible that the Admiral might attempt to fight this as a hostile boarding action. Fighting against his own ship and claiming that we have summoned a demon. This would require that the Admiral not have a close connection to his ship, but denial can happen.[ ] Usurpation - Command the spirit of the ship and take away that which the Admiral believes is his by right. When he humbles himself before you and acknowledges his own transgression, you will consider the possibility of forgiveness.
Enhances our reputation for mind control.[ ] Retribution - You will go to the Admiral on the bridge, and there in his place of power you will demonstrate the folly of his callous disregard. He will be broken, body and will, before you are done, and only then will you reforge him into a true servant of the Emperor.
Sadly this has the least possible downsides given that speaking standard language, but we are trying to change things not just be some new warlord. Also least upsides.[ ] Judgement - Life for life, and death for death. Slay the Admiral for his sins, and by the Emperor's own right claim dominion over this fleet. No longer will you tolerate the instruments of the Imperium to operate contrary to your will.
