A/N: Felt like writing up a what could've been if the votes had gone differently! Enjoy this little thing!
Regina Jones looked long and hard at the screen in front of her. "You're shitting me." Disbelief rang as clear as a whistle in her voice, scoffing at this… admittedly impressive attempt in coercing her.
"I assure you Regina Jones, I'm completely serious." Karina Lee, or the thing that's pretending to be Karina Lee responded, grinning at the Fixer from within the screen of her TV. At the moment, the former Media turned Fixer crossed her arms as her stare turned into a glare, she does not appreciate when netrunners pull off this kind of shit yet her scans show that her internal systems were completely free of any outside influence. "I get it, I get it." Karina Lee raised her hands in a placating gesture. "It's pretty hard to believe. It's not everyday a commercial just up and starts talking to you, right?"
Well, whatever was happening. It's pulling off a really good Karina Lee impersonation, it had her mannerisms, her way of speaking and even her body language down to a T. "Rrrriiiiight." Regina dipped her head, "Well, whoever you are? You're putting on one heck of a performance, I would've loved to have you on my crew back when I was still in the news but I'm not interested." With a wave of her hand, she turned off the TV and went back to working on more important matters like-
"Aw come on, you haven't heard me out yet!" The TV turned back on, but this time, instead of the enthusiastic face of the host of Chip 'In, the beaming face of the Real Water model had taken her place, a glass of Real Water in hand. "Isn't that what Medias like you are supposed to do? To get the truth?"
"The media lies." She rebuked, not knowing why she was still talking to a commercial. "And I left the biz years ago." This time she made certain to unplug the TV, ensuring that her hacker couldn't mess with her again and also sending one of her runners a message to do a quick scan of her systems.
"You say you left it, but did you really?" Her TV turned on again, this time Blue Moon of the Us Cracks put her hands on her hips while the two thirds of the group were frozen in their pose for the commercial of their newest album and Regina, with her one good eye, stared at the plug that she held in her hand then to her TV, then back to the plug in her hand.
"What the f-"
