Creating an Empire (Multicross God SI)

"Oh woe is me everyone I love is dead. Oh wait, there's magic here. I'm so glad I'm not a retard and am fully capable of creating liches out of all my friends were they willing to not, y'know, die. Homuculus bodies seems like a great idea for them to inhabit as well. Or having my VERY REAL GOD simply ressurrect them with some probing from me."

Problem solved.

"Or, you know, just visiting them in the afterlife whenever. I mean, my god seems cool with that ..."

For that matter, our loved ones die IRL too. Doesn't mean we descend into a heaping mess. Or can't make new relationships.

FFS, when you become old, and come close to dying? Your immediate family from when you were young will have mostly died off. Funny how everyone's not suicidal then.

Ah I guess that did kinda sound arrogant. But it's just something I remember hearing one time and it struck me as insightful, I mean it was in regards to a god 'born' at the beginning of time and how a regular person would have no common ground with a being like that. What would you talk to it about?
Human - "I like fishing."
God - "When all time ends I will still be here."
In all honesty it probably won't affect this quest for a while if at all. The difference between mortals and immortals mentally just kinda interests me.

There is a great deal of writing with regards to immortality that is very good at seeming wise. Seeming being the operative word. If it's a topic you find interesting then you'll have plenty of opportunities to see which ideas are more than fake wisdom. It can be fascinating to figure out which is which.

Okay, guys. Please chill with the passive-aggressive debate. Next chapter will be up this week. Just need to update W40K: DO and Darwinism and all will be good.

Also, anyone interested in BETAing for me? Any of my active stories could use help. Having someone look over them for mistakes and stupidity would be awesome.

YEEeEeEeeEeeSsSsSssSsSsssSs. SPACE DRAGON WILL RETURN! Honestly I have been as hyped for your stories as Xcom 2 or Space Hulk Deathwatch...

Im still waiting for a "If you build it he will come" moment
otherwise this is highly enjoyable and most excellent
also i really liked that dragonheart reference, most fitting

So we've got Asclaon and Caliburn. Will Durandal and Excalibur make an appearance?
Not as...well...I really like Durandal and Excalibur...

...I can say that certain other swords/weapons will make their own appearances, maybe those seen in FATE/Stay Night, Zero, Extra, Carnival and certain other anime.

Here are a few hints:
Sharpest nine lives you'll ever see.
Golden negation
Sever the contract

so um.... i know its a bit rude but are you continuing this or not
In the middle of the next chapter. Trying to find the best way to wipe a potential Chaos-analogue infestation from the planet without issuing an Exterminatus.

Any suggestions?

PS: I don't care if anyone necros my threads, but next time, just PM me so none of the others hounds you for Necroing.

Bury them in emotionless killbots?
Make it methodical, make it out to be nothing more than a chore/job that you have to do. You still have your warface on, so use it to your advantage, you are calm and collected, you have the capability to push them back while building more to add to the push.

Remember, there are few that can exponentially grow like commanders can. If given a 1 hour you have the ability to stand up to a blood thirster.

Edit: Fuck, wrong thread. Sorry about that guys.

Not a Commander, can only manifest near a large group of praying followers and I'm currently too weak to stand up to any other gods.

I'm trying to obey my timeline/outline, so as to not make this story simply a list of 'Yes I can do this'. So far, the best thing I can do with my powers against the Chaos-analogue is empower my Champion and Prophet (i.e. Altria and Jaune), but I've written the current boss as a step below a Bloodthirster. And as epic as my expies are, they aren't strong enough to tackle that yet.

Also, not a SupCom or PA commander. Currently a minor god, just as a reminder.

Sorry about that, I've been reading a lot of commander fics and I mixed up this one and, specifically, Machine Spirit.

But yeah, the only way I can see the Bloodthirster expie getting killed is if you give your champion all of your power to kill it. Though that might just kill him/burn his soul away.

It would be a good way to win but also lose someone important and maybe even hammer home to your Prophet that she will live while those she cares about dies.

Can you tell how your prayer system works?
Okay, here's the particulars, in a roundabout fashion. Just remember that I'm being vague in-story on purpose so I don't spend each chapter enumerating everything.

Let's say I'm using a Base 100 system. 100 = A full well of belief and prayer.

How I refill the Well:
- Prayers
----From Champion/Prophet = 5 per Heartfelt Prayer, 0.5 per Prayer
----From Blessed Followers (Paladins, Priests, etc.) = 1 per Prayer
----From normal Followers (Hands) = 0.2 per Prayer
-Battle
----0.1 per hour my followers are in battle, 10 per hour if my Champion/Prophet is leading the front.
----0.2 per enemy slain in battle, 5 per enemy if in Crusade
-Monument (Have none yet)
----0.5 per person praying

Using this system, it is assumed my SI has had a full Well, in addition to a surplus of 500~ due to the brief hibernation. All miracles he's done have been using the main Well, which has been refilled using surplus, which is being built upon by the stream of faith coming from his followers.

But this is just the theoretical. The actual system is a lot more vague in my head, since I'm using a narrative derivative of it.

Ok, so I got a bit of a problem with a few stories and with a suggestion from @RaneARE, well...

I'm stuck.

I'm stuck mentally on how to implement my plans for my stories...all of them, but more specifically on Destiny Online, Darwinism, Creating an Empire and Thousand.

If anyone wants to try and Beta for me, throw ideas at my face or even just take turns shooting my stupidity down, that'd be awesome.

P.S. This post has been reposted on my other Active threads.

Really, it's on where to send Altria after taking up The Sword. Do I send her right to the Hands or on a 'quest' to 'earn her place'?

Then there's Jaune in the forest with the redshirts and that girl, Faith...and her mysterious God that I know is watching.

Also, I'm partly split on creating a grand enemy that'll be my 'Worthy Opponent' or just focus on uniting a divided world through lots of Light and bloodshed.

Then there's the damn feeling that I should throw an alien invasion fleet at them, but I'm pretty sure that's a stupid idea.

You could have it as him getting this world to only praise him as the true god, then after that take his religious army to other worlds to make a peaceful multiverse under one god.

...to get this world to praise me as the One True God, I'd have to eliminate or consume the other very real deities already present.

Bloodshed is a certainty.

Is he way more involved with his followers than other gods? I could easily see his followers go on a crusade that's picking up steam with his constant involvement and other gods forming a coalition against him.
