To what degree is Video Game Hacking possible?
It seems the setting is far too grounded for us to, for example, waltz up to a conveniently placed terminal and illicitly access a single unusually informative email.

Hacking is totally a thing.
But yeah, you'd have to actually find a computer that HAS the relevant information on it. Possible, but unlikely to find it on a completely random terminal.

I'm on board with cutting corners. I'm not sure if the crews or the Jotunn dock workers are more likely to have better information.
