Two Weeks into Turn
Writing down the name of the Motel you put it on a small wall in your room in the Clock Tower. With it just over two months since Waver got his command seal stolen, things were still a little tense. You knew that it was possibly a risk to stay in the Clock Tower, but you didn't have a chance to move your ProtoFrame to Japan do to it not being finished at the time. You had some ideas on how to develop that, but you would be taking a little while for that one to be finished.
As it is you had found a Motel to use as a secondary base while in Japan for the war, on the off chance that something happened to your house. You had also found a different place for where you would be while the museum heist was going on. You were using your connections right now to find a thief who could break into and steal the gun, and you were hoping to find someone that could make a replica to give put in its place.
You sighed as you looked at your notes for the ProtoFrame, you were were hoping that you would have the funds to get it done. With the expenses that you were spending on the thief, you had no idea if you would be able to finish what you were planing on doing with the project that you have going.
Time to get to work...
Three Weeks into Turn
You looked over your notes, with this line of experimentation...
You think that you should be able to get the ProtoFrame finished within the next few months. With the frame finished you should be able to get to work on the armor, which you can only hope will give you enough protection against the weakest of servants. Thought that was all theoretical at this point, you still needed to attach the two parts of the frame together. It shouldn't take to long, but it would take some time to gather the resources to do so.
You shake your head as you place your notes down on your desk for now, you would need to spend quite some time to finish that and you had some work to do. For now you needed to send out feelers so that you can find a thief for your job. No matter how much you wanted to finish right now, the armor could wait for now.
Two Month into Turn
"So, your wanting me to steal the gun of Oda Nobunaga?"
You looked at the screen of the computer that you were speaking with. The man or women on the other side was very professional about this entire thing, refusing to meat you in person. From what you had been told, this thief was rather experienced and had done a few museum thefts in the past.
Unfortunately they were expensive, and that was cutting into your research money. You had manged to get the two pieces of the armor to go together, you were just needing to finish up some of the runes that power the damn thing.
"Yes, I was told that you would be able to get it. I have gotten a replica made to make the time between the heist and the discovery take longer."
"A switch out job? Huh, all right. I'll bite. I'll forward a location that you can send the agreed upon payments and fake gun to."
With that the connection was closed, leaving you to look at the blank screen. You didn't trust them, but they were necessary for you to get the gun.
Two Months and Two week into Turn
You relaxed as best you could in your workshop at the clock tower. Things were starting to calm down around the clock tower, but from what you had heard while talking with others made you certain that both Waver and Lord El-Melloi have managed to preform there summonings by now. Thankfully Lord El-Melloi seemed to be intelligent enough to realize the danger of staying in the Clock Tower while one of his enemies was so close, so he was looking for an estate over in Japan. He was claiming that he wanted to get away from the students and focus on some of his studies.
Anyways, the thief that you hired should be finishing there preparations soon, so it won't be long before you have the gun. While you had initially been unsure if it had been a smart idea to hire a Magus to do the job, you eventually decided that it would pay of in the end and they were less likely to actually get caught.
Now all you had to do was wait for the thief to report back on the mission.
Three Months into Turn
"I'm sorry, but I have unfortunate news to give to you. When checking the gun.... well it was odd. Structurally it was
identical to the gun that you were wanting me to steal, it was
exactly the same! But it's history made
absolutely no sense! It was just...
There! The wood, the steel, all of it! It just...
spontaneously came into existence!"
You could here a sigh from the other side of the screen, all the while you were gritting your teeth in frustration. This wasn't good...
"Could you tell when it was... Made? Came into existence?"
"A year, maybe two years ago. Damn, this is a pain. Look, don'e bother sending the final parts of the fee. I was hired to get the gun and I couldn't. If you ever find it's location then contact me, I'll get it and then take the final part of the fee.... Actually, if there is anything that you want stolen like this, get in touch. I'll take the second part of the original payment as payment for any other artifact that you would like to be stolen."
There was another sigh from the other side, before they closed the call.
End of Turn
You looked at the metal hand that you had set up to act as your own hand, as it wrapped around the small block of concrete. With just a single thought you squeezed your metal hand and crushed the small stone into dust.
You grind at your success. You had finally managed to get the Frame perfectly constructed!
The metal encased your body and gave you a good half a meter, though it was closer to two feet for those that use that system. Stepping to the side as you turned your body, you could hear the loud
thunk, as you moved with the massive weight from the armor. You looked at the pieces of the armor that you had designed for the frame and that were laying about on the floor.
Unfortunately there was a slight error in the connection to your nerves, making it so that it would not be connected to your armor properly. It would take a just a few weeks of research and your would manage to fix it. At that point you would probably be able to stand up to the weakest of servants. Getting into a melee fight with ether an Assassin or a Caster would be something that you could possibly win. Though the Caster would probably tear you to shreds with its magic, which you haven't even started to get any research on a good way to fend that off. That would be something for after you've managed to get the Mk I armor finished.
Slipping out of your armor you started to figure out what you would do for now. The only person that had a Command Seal that was in London right now was Waver, as Lord El-Melloi had left for that estate that he bought a couple of days ago. Unfortunately you had not gotten information on where it was in the city, but you should be able to track it down.
Currently have 3 total points
None -> Minor -> Slight -> Small -> Average -> Large -> Greater -> Major -> Total
Suspicion is a measure of how suspicious you are acting, and how much attention you are drawing to yourself.
Every master has a Suspicion rating, going from 0 (no one gives a shit) to 25 (The arch director is watching)
For every 5 Suspicion points across all the masters, Alert goes up.
Suspicion goes down for each turn slightly.
Alert is a measure of how much Everyone is realizing that shit is starting to go down.
If alert gets too high, Panic ensues, and people know that there are command seals about. Command seals that could very well be used to summon servants of their own.
