The Dark Knight is part of the IS canon, right?

I was wondering if your SI group would be interacting with those nutjobs or if they were entirely independent.

Also if they knew where he was, how come nobody tried to apprehend him yet? I mean, an IS can be worn instantly while yours take time to put up.

''Up onto now the I.S have been the weapon of choice and why wouldn't they. They're faster stronger and make anything we have created up until now utterly useless against them.'' as the black knight armor walked in front of one of the cameras and simply statred at it, allowing the camera full view of its body, design and armament.

''Up until now that is. Built just like Heavy knight, triple reinforced chess, spine and head protection, allowing it to take considerable amount of damage. She has several forms of shielding, of course ladies and gentlemen I cant just tell you all. No you will get to see her first hand.'' the man said with a mocking tone, completely unaware that one of his would be clients had been tracking the transmission directly to him.

''Armed with an energy sword, that by motion alone is powered, meaning that the things batteries never run out. Her primary weapon is the automatic shotgun, that you can see placed on the holster on her back. '' the man said as the knight moved in in front of him

''Sir you should leave this place. I'm detecting, several objects heading this way as we speak, they will have eliminated all of my drones please leave right now'' the young woman inside the armor said as the screens became as the supposed clients banished

Yet even as he reached for the teleportation crystals he use to be able to get from place to place, a single white Infinite Stratos tore thru the ceiling of the room he was using

''Long live the Fifth Column'' he said, as he slammed the crystal onto his chest, enveloping himself along with the heavy armored knight with him. Only leaving behind a single flag with the emblem of the tween headed eagle.

Even as the I.S stared at the flag the pilot could not help but feel a sense of fear as she stared at the single golden bird befor her. When one head stared to the left and had its eyes open , the other head turned to the right and had its eyes closed.

''The target has escaped'' said the white I.S pilot as she stared at the flag for one last instant before returning to her companions that had finished destroying the drones

Meanwhile during this entire proses Ismael and Melissa had been having the time of their lives recalling the events of their childhood. Melissa would speak of Ishmael's first attempt to walk and him repeatedly falling over, yet even then he had refused to cry and how he learned it in a single day.

Ismael would return those stories with the few he had of his own primarily how they both would dress up and how she would always seem to try and wear a weird white wig and red lipstick all the time and how their ,mother would get so mad when she saw the mess they made.

Even as they spoke neither one dared to drink a single glass of the wine, Ismael had brought with him as if they both knew how this would end up.
Yet as Melissa was about to say something a single employee gave her a plate filled with small tacos the same she had enjoyed when they were kids. It was at that moment that reality hit her. This wasn't a way for them to catch up, this was her brother saying good bye.

Even as she took the first bite which was also her last of the first one she ate She could not hold her tears from flowing.

For in that moment she simply whispered ''I'm Sorry'' as her black armor Infinite Stratos covered her body, its white stripes somehow making the metallic Valkyrie seem graceful.

''I know'' Ismael answered as he slams his fist onto his chest ''We are the Independence'' Ismael announced as his armed boot crunched down onto the ceiling of the building, which could barely sustain his errors weights forcing him to continuously move . Which in turn made him seem a little crazy

''Ismael please'' Melissa said, hoping her words would reach her brother

Yet her words met deaths ears , Ismael began to charge straight at her, instantly tackling her causing them both to fall to the city streets below. With a thunderous explosion the combined weight of both of their armors met in ground warfare, with Ismael punching Melissa's Valkyrie I.S causing her systems to scream alerting her to the sheer power of her brothers armor.

This act alone caused her to have no other choice, but to fly into the air in order to put some distance between her and her brother.

Yet it wasn't until she stopped and turned to see her brother that her blood ran cold and that she understood just what a treat her brother and his group presented. For suspended in mid air with two small objects circling him was her brothers heavy knight armor flying right behind he.

The Independance had taken full advantage of the eye of the Hurricane effect that occurred around the armors sand used it as the foundation for a new type of flying technology. Its functions were simple really, the two small objects would spin keeping the eye in full power, then a jet pack with had been added to the armor would help it fly. Somehow this made it capable of an accelerated flight, that completely changed everything the world knew until now.

The worst part however wasn't the destruction of the tourist attraction building or the destroyed family. It was the fact that the video of Heavy Knight flying and engaging the same I.S in battle that hit the internet spreading the image around the world.

The Independence and in turn by public opinion the Fifth Column had returned

Nice one. Still a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, so keep going. The writing is also much more coherent than when you started, nicely done, but you can still improve.

She could see him as he stopped right in front of her. She could see him, the little boy whose bright eyes and smiling face, met her when she came home from school. She could see him, as the young man that screamed you took our strength, our ability to defend ourselves and called it equality. That enraged face that desperately sought out a way to free himself. She could see him the man that had broken free and stood up to the world, gathered an army and changed the people around him.

She could see the sharp edge body of his ceramic and Steel Knight armored body as it stopped in mid air in front of her.

Its gray\silver color contrasting her I.S smooth black and white striped colors. His body was the very definition of male power, built like a fortress and fully prepared for battle, in contrast to the many men of her day and age.

The exhaust from the jet pack along with the fire that it used for propulsion, gave him the appearance of having a pair of massive black wings that became red then orange as the got closer to his body.

This compared to her own green energy wings that illuminated the area around her, made him seem like a fallen angel.

On his shoulder he had a large shield that had the emblem of a cross, that read ''In God We Trust'' on the top while on the bottom it said ''May He Forgive My Sins''

''Do you feel it sister. Do you feel it, it's starting a revolution is starting'' Ismael said, as he held his lightsaber on his right hand while he stood slightly to the left so he could use the shield on his shoulder ''A long lost power has just been returned to us'' he continued

''What do you mean'' she asked\demanded

At that moment a little boy who was looking at the events from the ground as either Knight or Valkyrie were any higher than two floors of the ground was pulled by his older sister. So they could run away. Only for the boy to resist and scream that one day he would be like him, so then he wouldn't be picked on by the girls in his school.

''We've come to far, there's no going back now. Either we get together again or it all ends'' Ismael said as he charged at his sister

Sadly near yet far from this place Ichika along with Cecilia, were doing some patrolling as part of their training when they heard about the events that were going on and decided to try and interfere\help. So the moment they entered the city and had no other choice but to slow down lest they cause unnecessary damage, the members of the demolition team that had been on standby knew they were there.

Employees from a number of office buildings would later say that a strange black bubble appeared out of thin air and from it a young man ran out of it, then as he ran a smaller black bubble enveloped him and a massive giant in power armor replaced him.

They didn't slowdown for the desks or walls in their way, neither would the slowdown if anyone was in front of them as they simply ran around them.

Until they ran into the wall that separated the outside world from the inside of their respective buildings. In reality all of this took but a few seconds, as the speed of which these men ran was astounding.

The only warning that both the first male I.S pilot and his companion ever had, was the I.S academic orders for them to turn around, as the both of them could do nothing to change the current situation. Then a simple energy spike and the walls around them exploding.

The calm wind and quiet streets were replaced by the combined gun fire of the demolition teams, automatic shotguns and automatic grenade launchers. That bypassed the Infinite Stratos shields.

''Do you see it. Its starting ''Ismael said, as Melissa saw both the students grounded and under heavy weapons fire. In front of her was no longer her brother, no in front of her was a rebel leader, one that needed to be put down.

So as she charged her plasma sword and flew straight at him and he met her in mid air. The sheer force of the impact along with the Eye of the Hurricane effect and the energy of both weapons and shields . Caused a massive energy discharged that bubbled around them.

As the chunks of broken concrete, along with cars and people were lifted off the ground. Melissa could feel herself crying ''was this really the effect of the Infinite Stratos creation'' she thought to herself. In that split second an armored fist connected with her helmet, sending her to the ground. She couldn't do it, she couldn't fight her brother.

So as the Lightsaber was drawing near her as he flew at her, she didn't bother to move. Only that the attack never came, he brother stood right in front of her and gave her his had.

''It's over. No one know how this, oppression of us Men came about. But it's over'' he said as he drew his hand back and turns of his light saver

''Men don't trust women anymore. So you can pick your selves up. Maybe one day we can trust one another again, It's over'' he said as he turned and gave the order to cease fire

It was at that one moment that a simple act change the world, as heavy knight gave the order to cease fire a gunshot, tore thru his shields, guis armor.

As everyone both fighters, news reporters that for reason are always attracted to these scenes turned to see who it was. A single I.S hung in the air, her green wings made of light and massive Lance like gun in her hand.

Had it not been for the sheer thickness of Ismael's armor that attack would have finished him. Yet as members of the demolition team saw who it was, to them it was just round two.

Elsewhere
In a high-security prison, one which didn't exist as far as the people themselves knew a woman walked. Normally the prisoners both men and woman would be catcalling her and making as much noise as possible, unfortunately, they couldn't do any of that, conside4ing they were all dead.

The orders had been clear, no witnesses, no small talk and no having fun with the inmates she liked, so she figured that if she had to suffer then everyone else did too.

As she passed the many dead bodies of both the guards and inmates alike she found her target happily playing cards with a few of her teammates. As she walked in, she could feel his eye looking at her long legs, well-formed thighs, curved waist, and large breasts.

The man's eyes had an impressed look as he saw her long black smooth thin hair and her perfect face, she knew she had him and the fool would do anything she wanted.

"Ah, I've seen better. So poker?" He said leaving stunned for a moment.
Hadn't this man been locked away for a while now? Had he had his casual with some of the girls in here? She thought to her self, yet that was beside, the point, she was here for official business and she wouldn't let her wounded pride get in her way.

"Mr, Smith?" She spoke his name letting it hang un the air, but the man didn't even bother to acknowledge her anymore, she was hoping to know if that was his real name or if he had simply discarded it for another, like the men she had met before.

"You are one of the Independence leaders and the only reason you were even captured was that your entire family was held, hostage. A simple trade, you come with us and they go free." She said, however, she could feel a cold chill in her spine, the man's eyes were now on her and somehow some way, she now understood he was only here because he was keeping his end of the bargain.

She swallowed and felt her through almost close up while doing so.
"I'm not going to lie to you Mr. Smith, we have several Independence members working for us and with us. We offer you a simple deal, help us bring the new suits into the world and we help you achieve whatever you want." Even as she spoke she understood that it was incredibly vague, but in reality, she was offering the man a blank check, there were no limits to the funds, so he could do whatever he wanted.

"No thanks lady, I'm waiting for the fireworks." Mr. Smith said to her.
For a moment she stood there trying to understand the man, however, she remembered something that had occurred earlier that day and she smiled.

"Heavy Knight or is it, Iron Knight, Steel Knight has confronted the Valkyrie he fought when your little group, first announced their existence to the world." She said hoping to get a reaction out of him, yet there was none, it was almost as if he was expecting such a thing.
"So they've started... Close the door when you leave." Mr. Smith told her, before acting as if she didn't even exist anymore.

There were insults and then there were insults. In half a second her me opened fire, each man had a prosthetic arm that had a simple pistol built into it for emergencies, she herself however simply smiled as she saw the fool be impacted with every bullet.

Yet there was no blood, no sounds of pain, that only meant one thing, he was alive.

"I hope you know how to pray because I stayed here for my family and now because of you that no longer possible." Mr. Smith said in a voice that promised pain and pain alone.

Slowly the room began to be enveloped in a type of bubble one she had seen many times whenever she studied the Independence teleportation technology, but that meant the man had the crystals on him the entire time, but he was only wearing a simple almost transparent set of clothes.

"Nanotechnology." Mr. Smith said before a black cloud enveloped the room and she heard her men scream before death took them. The last thein g she heard before a massive black fist struck her knocking her out, was Mr. Smith making a phone call.

"Hellow Mom, I'm sorry." He said.

A red light passed in the background of a once-abandoned room, at some point in time, this very room would have been light up by bright lights, help well-polished floors, clean furniture and would have been filled with people simply living their lives, doing whatever work they did.
Now all that remained was a dust-covered building, empty rooms that had begun to show their lack of maintenance and so much filth.

Yet the room itself was not empty, for a man was sitting at a table with a battery-powered lamp placed intro to of him providing light, fo him to see. In front of him was a woman whose face was hidden by the darkness of the room.

With them were five individuals who kept watch over the exits and listened for anything that shouldn't be, they made sure that no one enters or exits the building.

"What no speech, not even the hole. I'll make you an offer you can't refuse." Said the man, in a way that suggested he really didn't believe he was in any real danger at all.

"No," said the woman in a cold voice.

"So what do you want or did you just want to look at me" he said not knowing that the way he spoke to the woman, made several of the guards actually worry, fo they knew the woman would sooner kill the man than let him continue insulting her, with his manner of speech.

"I'll be clear with you Mr. Carlos. My associates and I offer medicine, technology and secure locations for you and whoever you work for. We hope to be able to make a deal with you, of course, should you say no." The woman said but chose not to finish just to see how the man reacted, unfortunately there as no reaction.

"And what do you want in exchange?" Carlos asked.

"The technology if the Fifth Colum. The Infinite Stratos are an incredible marble of technology, however, we neither have the means of replicating them or completely understanding them, not to mention that so far only two percent of our fighting force can even use them."

"You and your group have found a way around that, however." She said, yet even if Carlos couldn't see her eyes, the woman's bloodlust was all too present, there was a personal reason for her to do this, one she was guarding with everything she had.

"Lady I'm not Fith Colum, I'm independence and before you start talking about an alliance, think about this. There's nothing more to this story then what you already think you know. So why don't you tell me who exactly you are." Carlos asked/ demanded.

"A new arms race has started Mr. Carlos and these two groups of yours, are in the middle of it. As for who I am Lieutenant Coronel Martha of the Soviet Union" Martha said before handing over a card that had a phone number written on it, before getting up and walking away, her guards each followed her, leaving Carlos alone in the darkroom with just the battery-powered lamp for light.

In an office building, a man sat comfortably the news of the events going on had reached him truthfully he didn't care, the outcome had already been foreseen and plans had been set up and backups for when something went wrong like they usually did.

He replayed a conversation he had in the past, it seemed so long ago now. Ismael had stood in this very office and struck a deal between the Independence and his company.

"What are you planning on achieving by all of this?" He asked the young man.

"Nothing. At the end of the day, the only thing we can do is just shake the people up and set in mind that we ain't as weak as those machines have made us look. That and bring our firepower against those that don't like their power being diminished."

"The peaceful transfer of power ensures a kingdom- an empire- the survival of a nation, but that would have soon fallen apart had we not done what we did. Simply look at the birth rate, or the bias against the male population, a rebellion was starting. If it wasn't then how did we get so many members." Ismael told him.

The man smiled, there was an end goal, for the goal was to simply change peoples mentality, that alone was a task for years not a grand act of fleeing moment.

"What about the other group?" He asked the young man.

"They want to collapse the entire machine, if the women and the idiots that follow them want to be the ones that rule. Then they can start from scratch, because the soldiers they stepped on were the ones that defended and helped build this kingdom. The men were the builders and now that the empire is built, they throw all of those people to the wolves."

"They want to destroy everything and set things back to zero." Ismael said.

"In the end, we both want the same thing, for this insanity to stop, but we have different methods." Ismael said before he left the room.

The man smiled it was time to see who would come out on top, was it the ones placed in the light of the world ruled by women who had replaced the men in the position of power, was it the men placed in darkness that had become filled with vengeance or would it be the ones that simply didn't care and had no end goal.

The news reports had begun to come in and eyes were placed to watch for things to come, those that had learned to move in shadows acted as their ears and it was for this reason that the world's militaries had changed. Long gone were the vast armies of yesterday, now small specialized struck forces were used.

Truthfully they were little more than mercenaries being sent to kill whoever the politicians or company executives didn't like, everyone loves to say that men start was, but no one ever complains about the soils of war.

No, they had just cast every person that had fought for their country and died, as nothing more than criminals. It didn't matter that the people those same men and boys, were people that publicly did the worst kinds of things imaginable and that behind closed doors, those supposed good people were doing things that left plenty of the boys under his command, so heavily scarred that they were never the same again.

Physically they were fine, but their minds and souls, no, they would never be the same again.

How many boys had returned home only to find their wives cheering on them, or that the wives had divorced them and forced them to pay for children that weren't theirs, all the while laughing because they could get away with it.

Now it looks like the world is changing once again.

Publicly no one acknowledged it, few were flat out ignorant, but as for the people in charge they were all aware of it. The people in the military everyone that had been dismissed like if they were a bunch of unwanted dogs, the same men that didn't have somewhere to return to and ended up homeless, had begun to vanish.

It wasn't just the ones that were homeless, those that had ended up in lives that were almost considered torture, it was them that had made the first call to everyone else and had begun to gather the troops.

The Militaries of the world had begun to hunt down and reenlist their soldiers, some men eagerly returned, with others barely held back from attacking the people that had gone to speak to them.

The Independence, that wants to change the system that has been created all the while attempting to destroy people's beliefs in certain things. It was for this reason that they seemed to do pointless things, senators, tech companies and even certain people were being felt with by them behind the cense.

They wanted to change things while trying to keep everything from falling apart completely.

The fifth column that simply decided things had gotten too out of hand and had chosen to completely tear down the system from the bottom up and from top to bottom.

In the end, he and what was left of the supposed deserters of the military all agreed on one thing, they just wanted money to live comfortably and the only skill they had left were those that they learned for killing, so they made that a business and so far business is good.

Right now he was looking at the targets that would be left in the air until someone could actually take them out, Ismael, leader of the Independence- Ichika, the first male Infinite Stratos pilot- Chifuyu Orimura, the first Infinite Stratos pilot- Joker, the leader of the Fith Colom- Tabane Shinonono, creator of the Infinite Stratos.

Mercenaries from all over the world had resided the same message, every one of them was wanted dead, no exceptions. It was strange that everyone that had placed these hits were the same people that were on the world's stage now, the military wanted them all dead, the Independence and the Fifth Colom wanted everything to do with the Stratos either destroyed or so damaged that it would take years to fully repair or even make one of the things.

Yeah, business is good.

The sounds of the machines helping him breath sounded in the background inhaling and emailing, while the heart monitor marked every beat his heart missed. Lance laid in his hospital bed trying to remember everything that had happened, unfortunately, he failed to do so, the only thing he could remember was the intense pain that came and went.

He remembered his sister, but he couldn't remember his mom and dad, sometimes he even wondered if he ever had them to begin with.

At times Lance wanted to get up and walk, only for his body to refuse to answer him, he may have not been able to see, speak or move, but he could feel and listen. He listened to his sister whenever she came to visit him, he listened to his old friends who told him about the events going on and he listened to the doctors that took care of him.

It was this way he had learned just how bad his body had been torn apart, apparently, every bone in his body was broken, the joints had been shattered in a form that only an intense specialized surgery could repair and his nerves system, that would have to be fixed using a highly expensive synthetic tissue.

According to the doctors, the only reason he was alive, was just how stubborn he was.

He listened as the door to his room open and he listened to the woman that took care of him, the same nurse that washed and inspected his machinery, he guessed that considering the sounds of buttons being pressed whenever she came in.

The woman would talk to him about pointless things, like the tv show she had watched, a book she was reading and a party she was evicted too, now the normally cheerful carefree voice of the woman sounded broken and Lance could hear her crying.

Ismael had fallen, it was no surprise everyone knew this could happen, but no one believed it, the leader of the Independence was someone that could stand on his own that would rise to the occasion when all others failed to do so and yet he now laid uncritical condition.

The doctors had to remove his entire arm from the shower down and were now replacing it with a mechanical one, apparently, bits and peases of metal had gone into his body, so more surgery was needed.
Yet despite this, the man lived, he was like a castle whose stones were broken but were now being replaced with newer stronger ones.

Lance felt the woman hold his had and for a brief moment he opened his eyes and found himself met with the woman's own light brown ones. The woman's eyes widened before she took in a deep breath and screamed.

"Doctor!"

The room began to fill with men dressed in white lab coats and Lance could see his sister looking at him from the opened door to his room.
"He's awake, prepare him for surgery." A doctor said before Lance felt a needle pierce his skin, but he failed to know where it had entered.

Even as Lance felt his bed move as the doctors rushed him into surgery, word had begun to spread about him being awake again, so much so that even in the depths of the research department Michael had heard about it.

Michael for his part smiled at the news, that meant one less life they would carry on their conscience, there is a line every scientist had to cross, do you want life or do you want to progress, if one chooses progress then they will encounter everything from human experiments to the stuff one hears about mad scientists.

But if one chooses life, then progress will be slow but all of the note and bolts will be tightened, it was for this reason that Michael knew that those that had created the Infinite Stratos were sociopaths, they hadn't even considered his human society would be changed, no all they cared about was whatever goals they had in mind.

If those goals were achieved didn't matter anymore, the consequences of their actions will be felt for years to come, one simply has to look to the empires of the past to understand that all of this had happened before and because of that the fall of this empire was only slowed down by the Independence.

Still, as he looked at the new designed of the power suits Michael couldn't help but smile, high-speed grappler would soon be back in full operation and with him, Lancer would rise once again.

27
Minutes became hours and all Michael could do was stare at the computer in front of him, from time to time he would have to correct lines of coding that would have crashed the suit's systems, but other than that he had little else to do. He could hear the researchers working on the possibilities of the implications of what some of the technology they had given to them could be used for, engineers argued about the design of the suits and what would be more practical for each one.

Michael couldn't help but let a smile cross his face, they had come along way from just using random wear houses and shady businesses that kept their mouth shut about who they sold their equipment to.

"Why don't you tell me about what happened during the three days." A man's voice said behind Michael.

"Never thought I'd hear from you again, It was my understanding that your group was going to stay neutral." Michael answered the man.

"Situations changed, even if we wanted to stay clear from all of this we ain't going to be able to. Especially now since the Valkyrie has fallen and the Knight was brought down." Answered the man.

"I don't see why I owe you anything considering that by all means you and your group are considered deserters, but sure why not... Look around you, look at the people here, look at the people out there and you will understand why all of this just kept going, even after the three days."

"..." The man didn't answer, he just wanted Michael to begin his story.
Michael for his part simply exhaled and began to speak.

"You know you really have to lighten up, look long story short, politically, socially and economically the who ordeal was a mess, on the surface most people wouldn't have been able to tell the difference but for anyone that owned a business or simply worked in any government job."

"... Well, you get the idea."

"Look, let's cut the storytime in half I have work to do, so we managed to get deals with companies using the few backdoors we already had, we sold to them plasma weapon designs, even a ways to purify water with ought having to use hard chemicals or expensive machines."

" Sounds simple right... Good, with that out of the way, it all started back when we fled the school. Ismael had given the order to leave grappler behind knowing that more people would show up and would take him to one of our safe houses, unfortunately, our armors and weapons were completely outmatched by the enemies."

"So we had no other choice but to use the prototypes we had already built before, let's be perfectly honest here, we both know that those guns, swords, and shields were defective and had so many bugs that we were lucky they didn't kill us."

"Ismael wasn't so lucky, that sword of his melted his armors hands just because of the amount of heat it was putting out, add to the fact that he was fighting his sister and its no wonder the guys still holding our alliance together even in the state he's in right now."

"Want something to drink, wine, I have both red and white, if that's not up your alley I also have some vodka." Michael said as he opened his desk drawer and pulled out several bottles.

"You started drinking again." The man said, there was no deep reason for it, he simply wanted to see Michael's reaction.

"I've seen a lot of things, boys killed for no reason, all because of some bitch pointing their finger and saying bad, our armors malfunctioning and breaking some of the people's bodies and the fact that I can barely shut it off anymore. I try not to think about it, all the things I've seen, but even when I close my eyes those memories keep coming back."

"It would be easier if it was just those memories alone, but sometimes, I can remember the fighting and seeing a bullet hit my armor, or my shields stopping a shot that would have killed me."

"But you know the worst part, it's seeing tho men under our command die and some of the soldiers and police officers shocked and frightens faces when we killed them. I can see each of their faces clearly." Michael said as he pours himself a drink by simply raising the vodka bottle and letting the alcohol fall into his mouth.

"You know, I thought we were the scum of the world for what we did to that school, turns out I was right. All of a sudden one of the companies called us beats the hell out of me how they got one of our numbers, but we needed the money so Ismael along with a struck crew went to meet with them."

"And lord behold, all of a sudden we had an entire research facility opened to us."

Michaels begins to laugh as tears begin to roll off his face. "I remember looking at several soldiers walking in and thinking to myself that we were betrayed and were now either going to be shot or forced to work for whoever this was."

"Imagine my surprise when those boys announced that they were there for training... They died fighting, the Stratos aren't human, no, they stopped being that a long time ago and it not until you face one that you realize just how much they are separated from us, they truly are."

28
The sound of the alcohol being swallowed was the only thing that could be heard as Michael tried to forget.

"Faces, names, hell even places are forgotten with time. Maybe I don't really remember anyone anymore and the only thing I can remember is how I felt, but dam it seeing those boys due..."

"We needed information, the drones are good but they aren't that good. So they can be hacked, destroyed and so on, making them easily capturable by the enemy." Michael said.

"I can still remember those armors, multiple layers of ceramic and metal, one or two basic shields and some weapons and the Stratos tore right through them all."

"They broke those boy's hands like if they were nothing and smiled while doing so" Michael said as he took another drink.

"What happened?" The man asked.

Michael whipped his mouth and lowered his head onto the table, as his drink began to affect him.

"A lot of things, direct combat, caught spying on important people and simply bad luck. We both know that not everyone dies a soldier's death." Michael answered the man.

"Sounds like if you guys were the ones an agonizing the Stratos and the governments" the man said.

"Pfff" Michael began to laugh.

"Don't you remember how, the police began to raid schools, sports teams, even computer and science groups. We had to go in there and get those people out, those girls, like their power and the cold looks in their eyes, was told us everything we needed to know." Michael answered before finally passing out.

The man just sat there looking at Michaels passed out form, he didn't say anything nor did he bother acting, there was no point in doing so, he just sat there thinking about his options.

The Fifth Colum wanted supremacy, the Independence wanted their freedom, the Governments and Corporations wanted what better suited them, what that was didn't matter at the moment and finally, the Infinite Stratos along with a big chunk of the world's population wanted to keep the status quo.

But what about those that simply said the hell with it, I can't side with any of you. This whole ordeal, is just trading one monster for another.
This was his group, a group of people that remained hidden in the shadows of every city and small town, unfortunately, even the shadows were being affected and so they now had to pick aside.

The man felt his cellphone ring, he had put it on vibrate so the damn ringing didn't disturb his conversation, as be took out his cellphone and looked at the text message, he understood that the decision had been made for him.

The scout sent to the government was dead, the one sent to speak with an Infinite Stratos was in critical condition and he was the only one in one peace.

As for the person sent to the fifth column, that person had completely disappeared, like or not it seemed like the best option out of all the groups was the Independence and that alone wasn't comforting at all.
So with nothing else to say or do, the man rose from his seat and walked out, he never bothered looking back.

He sat in front of the computer not knowing what to say or do, over five hours of nothing being recorded or being typed.

Finally, he began to speak. "To whoever is listening to this, I'm not going to apologize."

"I'll be the first to admit that what happens shouldn't have happened and that the events that followed were completely out of control"

He stopped speaking, but only to take a puff of his cigar.

"Perhaps you lost someone, or someone that someone you knew died or was crippled during the whole ordeal"

"Well guess what, nobody cares. Do you think so many of us would have existed if people cared about what was going on in the world."

"Who am I you can call me Michael and what you are going to hear are the events that occurred during this whole ordeal and why even if could have been prevented it wasn't,"
he said before he stopped again and took another puff from his cigar.

"And here comes the president of the [][][] Corporation, now" said a reporter.

He had kept the tv on, for other reason than to have something to keep away the silence, it wasn't that he didn't like it when it was quiet. It was the fact that when it was quiet he got bored and when he got bored, he would work and he was already dangerously close to depression.

He turns to look at the television and sees a man wearing a black suit, walks on to the stage, before a live video of a giant gulf ball was displayed behind him.

"Ladies and gentlemen, our esteemed researcher have been working in a new weapon capable of defensive and offensive capacity." The man said as he let the reporters do their usual pointless talks.

"As we all know the world has become a much dangerous place, so in a way of making sure that people can rest at night, our corporation has created the Baby Magnum"

"Its armor is so thick it can take a direct hit from a nuclear weapon and nothing will happen to its pilot. It's equipped with everything from missiles, lasers, rail guns, and even plasma weaponry." The man said before the reporters asked their usual questions.

The man simply answered them all until a woman asked a question, no it was more like she arrogantly said something and didn't expect the man to answer her.

"What's the matter, want to put the Stratos out of the job?" The woman asked

"If possible yes, we are a company and companies grow" the man answers the woman, never allowing his smile to fade.

What followed next were a series of videos, of the man's new toy fighting off ships, fighter jets and taking multiple missiles and various weapons while suffering little to no damage at all.

Michael just smiled, that thing was covered in guns and in any normal situation, it would be a nearly impossible weapon to stop.

"Too bad this isn't a normal situation." Michael said to himself, before closing his computer and deciding to go out for a walk

The hot sun was blinding, his house wasn't dark by any means, it was just the fact that even if he was in a fully lightroom, there is a difference between natural light and an artificial one.

The streets around his house were broken and all he had to do was turn the corner and he would find several police cars just parked there doing nothing. He took out a box of cigarettes took one out and light it.

It's hard to believe just how much things can change, before men would protect women, then women wanted more privileges and like fools, man gave those unearned privileges to them, the right to vote isn't a right at all, its a privilege for those who have earned it.

Hard to believe that it took this much crap to force men to realize just how much they were being played and still some refuse to believe what's in front of them.

The streets are quiet now, before a man could walk down the street and see children playing, now they were gone, abortions, the fact that women repeatedly divorced their husbands and eventually made them into slaves, made a lot of men, take one look t marine and cohabitation and say No.

Unlike a lot of teams, the team I'm apart of makes sure the law is carried out, either thru legal means, or less favorable ones, how, simple a man that was sent to jail and spent years of his life in prison, now had the chance to get his revenge on both the lawyer and the person that put the accusations on him.

"One-two-one -two" a group of young women run pass me, the recruits for the police force were training, a law was recently passed saying that women could no longer enter the police force without, actually acting like the police.

The reason was simple, it costs money to train them and a lot of women quit after their first real fight with a criminal, others simply took a leave of absence because they got pregnant.

He smiled at the thought of that, right now the world's militaries are struggling to get recruits, both better and new bloods, refused to show up, the same went for private militaries that operations had. It's hard to tell people that they make a difference, or that they matter when, you throw them out, just because something better showed up.

For a time the media made it seem like if the world's various militaries would start a draft, that was put down when each government eventually said the same thing.

We can't, we don't know how many people could, would infiltrate and the fact that we can barely regain our veterans, means that there are few things stopping a bunch of angry men from taking the base for themselves.

When asked couldn't the governments just put down the instruction and takedown the bases, by sending in a Stratos.

The spokesmen answered with something extremely worrying, if we did that any trust people had both with the infinite Stratos and in their governments would be instantly lost, at that moment even the most loyal of men, would know that they don't matter.

We can't do that.

Their speech went somewhere like that and so now the world finds itself, tilting toward chaos and I love it, revenge is a dish best served hot, so a person can watch their enemies burn, some people like it cold, but I prefer hearing my enemies scream.

I know what your thinking, what a jerk, think whatever you want but I've seen enough to understand, women don't love- don't care for anything but themselves and if I don't know that lesson before, it was sure shoved down my throat after all these years.

I was there when it became legal to kill babies that were born up to a year, I was there in so many court hearings where the woman left her ex-husband homeless and thought a penny. Those Judges and Lawyers deserved what those men did to them.

I stood next to men who only, after all, this hell went down actually spoke to their children and found out that their ex-wives told their sons and daughters, that their father didn't care for them. Every gift those men had sent, was kept away from those children and when confronted with the truth, those women both denied it and sent the police after those men.

To bad for the police they never could find those men and fortunately for the Independence, they ended up getting a lot more recruits, that had nothing left to lose.

I finally reach my destination, a public park, it's better to lay down on the grass and enjoy the sunlight, I need another cigaret, so I just take out another one and light it, its a calm day, but calm days only show up before problems come.
