Conference Call: Redhead Redemption

It was mentioned in Dieci Hongler's Identitiy story that the City has thirteen common languages. This does imply that American and British English are considered different languages, unless of course there's one that didn't get an Association like Hebrew did.

hahaha... uh.

I want you to know that I am so sad. That you are wrong.
Oh really?
Pyrrha primarily speaks English because Rooster Teeth primarily speaks English.
Look again big boy

tbh the answer is probably just the fact that these are all media created on our Earth where English exists, and so the media also exists in a setting that includes English,

While the effort part of my effortpost might be off-base, I have already taken that into account because I am never wrong about anything ever! It was all according to Keikaku.

Joking aside, thanks for the response boss. These are interesting posts.

1. Would Kyoko witching out cause her to "leave" the node or would it count Ophelia as a continuation of her consciousness due to her soul not actually ceasing to be, only transforming?
The latter. PMMM has consciousness tied heavily to the soul. Grief Seeds are simply the final stage of Soul Gems. Witches are shown to have a form of consciousness, even if their mindset is warped to be alien or absurd. Ophelia would remain in the Node, though absolutely no one would be happy about it.
2. Having no experience with the other conference fics, assuming Ophelia stays on the node, would she retain Kyoko's memories and or consciousness due to the node?
Not memories nor consciousness. It'd be... it'd be complicated.

Emma talked to Scarlet about a somewhat similar scenario earlier in the fic, regarding split personalities and transformation of consciousnesses. I'd recommend checking it out again: Conference Call: Redhead Redemption Crossover

Based on the conversation you reminded me of, it actually doesn't sound to me like it'd be that complicated on at least on a purely "technical" level in regards to the node. It at least sounds less complex than the hypothetical Plural node user Emma and Scarlet talk about. In that if neither consciousness nor memories are protected or influenced by the node then the Kyoko user just becomes Ophelia, unless there's some stuff with familiars being able to share the connection, considering I suppose they are figments in/of her soul.

So I assume the complication arises more from well being a witch and all that entails in combination with being able to actually be communicated with. Maybe that could result in the potential of a plural system developing if mentioning of Kyoko to Ophelia in way she'd actually "understand" causes weird soul stuff to happen. Thanks for answering my questions, I'll be curious to see if any of this discussion ends up coming into play in the fic.

You know thinking about witches when writing up this post, it's kinda interesting to try and imagine them in relation to Undertale's soul mechanics. A witch looks monstrous, but has a human soul and one in a more powerful state at that. Makes me think of Photoshop Flowey, they're even kind of similar from a visual design perspective.
