[X] String Theorem
Name: Avana Eventer (String Theorem)
Personality: Cheerful and excitable on the outside, with curiosity and madness in the inside, Avana is a girl that wishes to understand the world around her and solve big mysteries, too! Just like her favorite mystery & crime novellas! Hopefully as long as her power would be as kind to cooperate with her, of course. She hates losing things, mental or physical, due to an event related to her power.
Sometimes, she gets caught up dreaming big or thinking large, and that sometimes leads to her getting in trouble, sometimes in BIG trouble. Trouble such as getting scolded for daydreaming while doing something important or accidentally getting hurt.
Backstory: Coming from the Eventer Family, one of the normal ones, but with a twist. Every 4 generations, a certain gene will manifest on one or more children, causing them to have superpowers. During times of extreme emotion, the gene will activate. Avana's powers activated during a time when she lost something important and she knew that she had to get it back or her family will be so so mad and she didn't know where or how. It was like a mystery, but she wasn't the protagonist, where she had intellect and powers, so she tried and tried and in a fit of desperation and realizing that she wasn't in a mystery novella, activated the latent gene in her.
Powers and Abilities:
Her power comes in two. First, the power to see imaginary bonds between everything, familial ties, emotional bonds, physical bonds, you name it! Shame that her power refuses to show her everything, just the parts that would be interesting, without instantly solving problems that Avana currently faces. This is due to a hidden mental block, stemming from Avana wishing to have an interesting life. So it wouldn't do for Avana to just have all the pieces handed to her, right? But even if Avana overcomes this mental block temporarily, the power would simply overwhelm her with all the information, causing her to pass out after a few moments. (Perfect for a temporary overcome my limits moment, where Avana uses this to asertain something instantly, in exchange for passing out or an information headache.)
Second, the power to make those bonds wiggle, at least that is what she calls it. As long as Avana can see it and is close enough to interact with it if it was real, she can manipulate it slightly. Which means strengthening or weakening the thread, strumming the thread to make it do something according to it's type, or entangling the thread around herself to make it always pass through her first. There are more applications, but Avana currently does not know how to do so. It's not like her power comes with an instruction manual, anyway.
Appearance: A tween girl with reddish brown hair, brown eyes, and light-brown skin. She usually wears red/black colors, with a focus on black shady colors. You can't snoop around if you are wearing something attractive, after all?
Personal goals and motivations: Solve BIG problems! Impress her family! Trouble avoidance! (and… make sure she doesn't lose anything in the process.)
Relationships: Her parents, Aran Eventer (Elder brother), Asamoa Eventer (Elder Sister), Dania & Sela Eventer (Younger Twin Sisters),

Design Notes/Reasoning:
Avan is meant to be someone that tries to satisfy her curiosity to learn and appease her desire to solve mysteries, like the novellas she reads. However, her intelligence doesn't really reach as far as the protagonists in the stories that she reads, as much as she wants to. This would eventually lead to Avana losing her childlish worldview, but having a latent gene that would give you superpowers interfers with that. However, Avana loves a good mystery, and instantly solving problems wouldn't make up for a good mystery, now. So subconciously, she makes her power seal away most of her information aspect, and it only shows the 'solvable' problem part, where she is given clues and she has to solve them.
However, due to her fear of loss, this altered her power to be able to 'manipulate' the bonds shown to her. This is to avoid falling into a trap of loss, as long as she uses her power to figure that out. Her power can only go so far, though, before it gives out, and Avana falls into a pit of her own making, if she ever does that. Some character development for her would be accepting that life isn't just a bunch of mystery novellas to solve, trusting her family to tell about her powers, and accepting that she'll lose things eventually, and that is okay. (Or go the I WILL NEVER LOSE ANYTHING AHAHAHAHA route.)
