[x] Go over each area of the Academy
You pass by the security guard, with Claire giving him a wave and a smile. He presses a button, unlocking the door to the first part of the building. A long hall runs north to south, lined with polished lockers, and doors leading to various classrooms, bathrooms, and stairwells. to your right is a large counter, where a kindly looking older woman currently is sitting, her hawklike eyes glancing over some paperwork. To her right, you see a large wall of trophies, class pictures, and various other accolades, while across from the main office with the secretary is a large wooden panel covered in names. The hall is conspicuously empty, as the freshmen have arrived at the academy a bit before general classes have started up. It feels almost eerie seeing these halls bare of people.
"This is the Charles Claremont Wing!" Claire says, gesturing around. "This is one of the main class areas of the school, with an excellent view of the forest down the hill! This wing also has most of the school's labs, and it's various music rooms! And if you ever get hurt, you can head over to the nurse's office, where Nurse Joy will patch you right up!"
Nurse Joy? What is this, Pokémon?
"Over here we have the Main Offices, with Mrs. Humphries handling the front desk, as she usually does. Hello Alice!"
"Hello Dears. If you ever have any questions, or need administrative help, my door is open!" She smiles at you all.
"Then next to the Main Offices we have the trophy case! It's even got some things from..." Her face sobers somewhat, and she loses her exuberant tone. "From before the Terminus invasion. Across from the main offices is a monument to all of the students who lost their lives in the invasion."
You take a shaking breath as you stare at the names. The Terminus invasion was an event back in the 90s where the supervillain Omega, a ruler of some alternate dimension, invaded Freedom City, causing massive amounts of damage and killing lots of people. No part of the city came out unscathed, and it's defender, The Centurion, died. Even though you were born after it, it was something that you couldn't help but know about, a national tragedy. In somber silence, the tour group moves on, out of a door, towards the Quad in the center of the building.
You step in, and are surrounded on all sides by building. In the center of the quad, there is a massive circle of dirt, with a statue of a proud looking man standing on a plinth, with several wooden benches nearby.
"This is the main quad!" Claire says. "From here, you can get into any of the six main academic buildings. In the center of the quad is a statue of the school's original founder, Charles Claremont. Most of us students like to come out here for lunch when the weather is nice. Just watch out when it rains!"
The atmosphere brought back up, you all meander towards one of the other doors coming off of the quad.
"This is the Cooke Wing, named for one of the students who showed bravery during the invasion." Claire says, gesturing to around the long hallway you find yourself in. "Over there is the Student Supply, for if you need textbooks, and over there is the Atrium, a nice spot to eat lunch when it's too miserable for the quad. There's a statue of Mathias Cooke in there, and it's said if you rub the hem of his cloak before an exam, you'll get good luck!"
You raise an eyebrow at that, it does look like part of the statue is quite shiny compared to the rest of it. But you don't believe in any of that superstition. It's just like all those people who claim their powers are magic. You peer around, and find that most of your classmates seem to be about as bored as you are, which is almost a relief. You've managed to acclimate yourself to being in this group, no longer caring about the eyes that might be on you, as you now are just filled with vague boredom. Eventually, after a couple of questions, you move on, heading west down the hallway.
"This part of the campus is the Leonard Fox Auditorium, though we usually just call it Fox."
She gestures towards a large set of double doors, with hallways on either side of it, far to the left and right, obviously the double doors lead to a massive room, likely the titular auditorium. The smell of glue and wood fill the air as you walk by, reminding you of your dad's workshop.
"It's got the auditorium itself, obviously. Mostly it gets used for various events, like concerts, stage plays, and stuff like that. Though every Sunday, we get to have movie night!" She says, a big grin on her face. "To either side are various other classrooms, and spaces that the theatre department uses to prep for shows and the like. There's a dance studio, a woodshop, and of course, backstage!"
You notice that Jade is narrowing her eyes, staring at the doors to the auditorium like they owe her money. What's that about?
Believes she senses something in the auditorium, something supernatural.
Oh, just more... magic stuff. Well, whatever. You can always investigate later, for now, you're being led further south down the hallway past the doors to the auditorium, and through a set of wood-paneled doors. You enter into a massive library room, with numerous shelves filling your view, dotted with tiny tables, and nooks for reading. Across the library floor, you can see a set of doors leading into what look like study rooms, and a hallways that has a sign next to it, labeled "Records Room."
"This is the David Sloane Library." Claire says, her voice lowered slightly. Everything seems quieter in the library, even your footsteps, as you walk across the carpeted floor. "Over there are the study rooms, which you can reserve via the school website, or with the librarian. That way are the reference computers, which are connected to the greater Freedom City Library system. Over there are the records, a bunch of microfiche and stuff of old newspapers. By the entrance over there, we've got the audiovisual section, with plenty of DVDs and music disks."
You, are home. You have to physically restrain yourself from power-walking your way over to the 800s, as you take in the senses of the library. The smell of the books, the quiet shuffling of papers, and blowing of the air conditioning, You finally feel yourself really start to relax, though you know you're going to have to leave. And thus, you do, heading through a set of doors to the east.
You find yourself in a large cafeteria, with tables, both long and circular spread around. On one of the long sides of the building, there is a large lunchline, and a door that obviously leads to the kitchens. There are also several vending machine scattered about the walls.
"This is the Dianna Falk Cafeteria! They serve Breakfast and Lunch every weekday, usually something pretty healthy! The vending machines along the sides have snacks, some healthy, some not. A couple years back, Summers nearly removed all of the unhealthy ones, but there was practically a riot! As a compromise, we've now got both."
"What about meals on weekends, or dinners?" You hear Jade ask.
"You can get those from the Staff Cafeteria." Claire says, inclining her head slightly. "Students who are commuting to Claremont tend to go home for dinner, and for weekends. But if you're a full time Claremonter, then you eat here full time! You can also get food ordered to the front gate if you want."
"Now, we're gonna head outside to the gardens!" Claire says. "And then, we'll send you off to your dorms to meet your roommates!"
Do you have any questions before you head out of the academic buildings?

Sorry that this is basically all exposition, I wanted to work in some of your future classmates chiming in, but it just kinda didn't work well. Any advice you have I'll be thankful for!
