Choice Paralysis(MTG Wiki Warrior/????)

Post 4
You decide that the grove will be well suited to the factory ruins. It's going clean up the pollution and hopefully, give you a place to stay.

You make your way to the hidden section, where people haven't been since the invasion. The corroded machines and the dead rat skeletons tell the story of how destructive this spill is.

You start the process of fixing that by summoning the magical grove.

The spell looks like a glowing drop of green. It flies from your hand like a slowly thrown baseball and splashes on the ruined soil. The splash spreads at alarming speeds, and small grass and shoots sprout from where the drop landed, spreading like a flood of green and life.

In a blink of an eye the place where an entire wing of the factory was, a grove full of the thriving vibrant grove. Filled with hundreds of magical plants. A web of complex life, an entire ecosystem in miniature. You walk among the soft grass, bare feet sinking into the silk soft grass and you pluck a glowing mango from a branch. Maybe it had been your hunger pangs but the trees are in full bloom, despite the early winter season in the central city. The branches hang low with ripe fruits and the flowers release their sweet fragrance.

Choose the Alternate Colour of this land can produce besides green and colourless.
[] Red
[] Blue
[] White
[] Black

After you gorge yourself on fruits and nuts and you fall asleep under the protective shade of the grove. You are awoken by the emergence of two more spells from your soul.

More ways of gaining mana, it seems the well of potential wants to tell you or something.

Thunderherd Migration
Sorcery
As an additional cost to cast this spell, reveal a Dinosaur card from your hand or pay {1 Mana}.
Search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.
The herds follow as new growth arises
(Will Definitely involve a a herd of giant magical dinosaurs)

Unclaimed Territory
Land
As Unclaimed Territory enters the battlefield, choose a creature type.
{Tap}: Add {Colourless}.
{Tap}: Add one mana of any colour. Spend this mana only to cast a creature spell of the chosen type.
(Will be shaped by what creature type is chosen. List in the notes)

After examining them for a minute you put them away from your mind today and then plan out what you want to do now.

The social security net in this city is mostly non-existent for a person without a social security number. You are unlikely to get a legitimate job. Maybe you can get an under-the-table job, the people of this city seem friendly enough that it's a distinct possibility.

But if you are honest with yourself, you don't really want to get a 9 to 5 job. You want to adventure, explore and grow. You want to cast your spells, help people if you can and build yourself a new identity, something that you can say with a look backwards in the future and smile without regrets. An Identity that couldn't be wiped away again because your mark on the world would be indelible.

So what do you plan for the foreseeable future?

[] Suck it up and get a job like any other adult.

In full transparency, I was manipulating your cards by rolling until some mana source showed up since this was the tutorial. But now that safety railing falls and you can get anything that I roll, which does include things that can and will end the world, like a super zombie plague, rifts in space-time and or genocidal magical nanomachines.

Well, it will try to end the world, and the justice league will most likely save the world in the end, you, however, wish the world ended if that happens, science cells are not pleasant places and neither is the phantom zone or the many hells in existence. Or if you really really really fuck up badly enough, lucifer himself might have to step in and believe me you DON'T want that.

That is the other thing since this is a superhero setting death is hardly the final and the walls of reality are fluid if you die continue in whatever afterlife your actions lead you to and you can certainly revive if you get such a card.

You can choose any that you want, yes even the Eldrazi if you want the eldritch mountains of madness.

You have choose a creature type for unclaimed territory. Something like dinosaurs or dragons or wizards or artifacts or theres a whole lot more, imagine a fantasy creature or job and that would most likely be a creature.

[X] summon unclaimed territory over whats left of the factory. choose artifacts as creature. your power seems to grow with time. Summon Mox Amber and then use our mana to cast Mad Science Fair in whichever land can hide it best. @Acolyte has it been another turn for the grove to untap? Asking because that would determine if we could cast mad science fair or not this turn.

Holding off on Thunderherd because that is going to draw attention plus it is our best source of mana fixing since we can grab a basic land for 1 of a chosen color and we really dont know what colors we need at this point. Going for Blue because of the basic lands Island or Mountain probably stand out the most so Blue or Red lets us cast cards requiring 2 of that color the easiest. White with Plains or Green with Forest probably hide the easiest, Black with Swamp would be the middle in terms of hiding a basic land

With my casting and picks we will have
50/50 for any color
2G, 2U, 1B, 1W, 1R

Do creatures summoned not obey us?

If we summon a Sliver would it see us as a Sliver and share power with us?
They do obey you, but a magical nano tech that obeys you is still virulent. And there are cards like the sylex that canonically sunk multiple continents when used and was about to destroy a dozen one recently. I am happy for you guys to use them, its not like its a garunteed loss condition or anything. Just warning that i won't be shepherding rolls now.

As for thw silver bit, basically how i am ruling it you count as a basic human creature when it benefits you. There are cards that can make you count as a different type of creature. If you use that then they would apply to you.

why the hell not. And also better than summoning fucking dragons in a city in DC america. Or a magical nano virus or other bad ideas.

If you guys want it enough, then sure i can fucking make a custom creature type, which will benfit from cat, rogue and psion types. If people really want to.

But its not the winning vote yet.

Phyrexian and Eldrazi are things that would have All the Gods get invoved with real quick.

Slivers need love and must be summoned in the future.

You decide to act on your desire to take your destiny into your own hands and cast your second land here as well.

The second spell you cast this way is another land, just like the thriving grove. But it is different in that its form is indeterminate, able to be shaped by the caster's will and being connected with a type of creature to inhabit this territory.

You look around the abandoned factory you inhabit and an idea comes to your mind. How do you hide an addition of a magical land in the middle of a city, by camouflaging it of course. So you summon the land and align it to artefacts or magical machines. The spell bubbles up from inside you and seeps into the ground like spilled mercury.

A transformation takes place, the walls of the factory repairing themselves, the machines whirring to life and transforming into magical versions of themselves. The wires are replaced with crystal relays and the change ripples out beyond your sight. The machines are quiet from a lack of power but otherwise, they are ready to go.

That went better than you expected, so you do it again.

You cast your third spell and a glowing piece of amber coalesces into your hands. A chain is affixed to it, to be better worn as an amulet and you can feel a connection to it, the amber serving as a reflection of your nature and allowing you to pull any kind of mana from it.

You stare at the beautiful gem and its infinitely fractal inside before you put on the necklace and cast your first spell.

You feel the connection with the land and the mox as you draw upon their mana. The energy flows through you, a torrent of life and knowledge and coalesces into a Mad Science fair project.

It comes into being in the Unclaimed Factory, and you feel it connect to the Unclaimed Factory. The machine power up and you feel the chaotic energy of the magical reactor course through the territory. You know you have a working Chemical factory now so that's neat, now you just need some way of figuring out how to operate it and you should be good.

You feel another of your power surge and a new spell rests in your soul, something that allows you to draw more spells. That's an interesting revelation, your spells can affect your power, and you are sure that will be useful in the future.

Eureka Moment
{2}{Green}{Blue}
Instant
Draw two cards. You may put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield.
"At first, the equations were simply numbers. But in those numbers, I saw a story, and in that story, I saw a pattern, and suddenly it all fits together!"

Now, you are casting spells, You know magic is real because heroes like Etrigan and Doctor Fate exist and are part of the justice league. You don't know anything about your or the origin of your power except that it's magical.

So your best bet is to find and talk to a magical hero or scientist so they can help find out what you are.

How are you Going to find and interact with a magical Hero

This is a showcasing of something I am trying to see if they work. Basically, there will be Synergies between different cards and between cards and the DC universe. Things that should logically interact and improve each other. They will allow a card to act beyond its text description and expand the options you have.

For example, this Uncalimed Factory+Mad Science Fair Project will allow you to produce any chemical you or one of your summons can understand, yes that means you can mass produce healing potions or even things like Venom drug from DC.

Another example would be enchanting Superman with some sort of sun-based enchantment which will basically supercharge him and make him even more grossly OP than he already is. Or a speed enchantment on Flash if you really really want to destroy the multiverse from flash point 2.0 but even faster.

Which color won for Thriving Grove?

Also hmm we dont have any lands in hand so the 2nd ramp effect of letting us get a 2nd land in this turn does not really apply yet
