Turning as much as he could to face Sasuke again, who seamed to be simultaneously scribbling notes in his bento-rice using his chopsticks and flicking back & forth through his choices, all the while sticking his tongue out the corner of his mouth, making everyone stare at the usually broody Avenger, he added. "Plus, he actually looks happy for once & if he's having fun, I kinda want to encourage that...I miss the Sasuke from four years ago."

    Seeing this, Kakashi muttered. "Kami above, Obito was a goofball, but I've never known an Uchiha to nerd out before…"

    "Well Sasuke, will you gimme a hand since baka-sensei won't let me down?" Naruto asked.

    Not expecting the interruption, Sasuke jumped. "Huh! wha? Oh! Sure Naruto, just let me pick mine first, 2 seconds." Scrolling to his prefered Class, he tapped it & when prompted, confirmed his choice.

    Finally done messing with his screen, Sasuke stood up dusting off his white shorts & walked over to the training post Naruto was tied to, leaning against it's side so that he can see Naruto's screen, he asked. "Alright Naruto, which one do you want? Jester right?"

    Naruto bowed his head, slumping in on himself & sighed before replying dejectedly. "No...I want Gladiator…"

    Not used to hearing the Dead Last sounding so defeated Sasuke whipped around, eyes wide. "What's wrong Naruto? You don't have to choose that if you don't want to."

    At this, Naruto rested his head against his support while closing his eyes. "Yeah...I do, I swore that, no matter what, I'd never run away from myself."

    With confusion in his eyes, Sasuke asked. "What's that got to do with your [Class Advancement]-" He was interrupted by 2 new screens popping up in front of him. "Woah! Shit! Ok, so it's not intent-based."

    After quickly reading the tutorial & examining his Class Tree, Sasuke tapped out of the intruding screens & turned back to Naruto. "Sorry about that, I didn't realize that was a command, anyway, what does picking Gladiator have to do with not running from yourself?"

    Naruto frowned, before yelling. "God Sasuke! For the Rookie Of The Year you're dumb! Read the description & think about how most people treat me! Read it aloud while you're at it, it's not fair for you to know while the others don't."

    Recoiling at the beginning of his teammate's tirade, Sasuke's face briefly morphed into a rictus of rage, but as it went on, he seemed to stumble & freeze before glancing first at his fellow Orphan and then at said nin's screen."In the Ancient days of Rome, the accursed were not simply belittled in the streets like today, no, they were forced to fight in giant arenas as Gladiators, bereft of armaments & armor, all for the amusement of the upper class, hoping to one day gain enough fame so the crowds may release them from their shackles...oh…"

    Hearing Naruto's rant caused Sakura to snap out of her panic in time to see Sasuke falter before reading out the Gladiator's blurb, "Come to think of it, every time we had shared lessons in the academy & Iruka-Sensei wasn't there, Naruto was always sent out, we were told the Hokage wanted to teach him personally, remember Sasuke?"

    Still staring at the orange words as if he was trying to divine the meaning of life from them, Sasuke replied in a manner more like his usual self. "Hn, even when the Kunoichi weren't sharing our classes, if Iruka was off, he'd be kicked out."

    Hearing the academy's reasoning for sending him out, Naruto roared. "They DARED use that excuse! 33% of our class are Clan Heirs! If any of them bought that, I'm sorry, but the Clan Heads are neglecting their kid's political education! Ain't that right Sasuke?!"

    Nodding his head in the Prankster's direction, Sasuke confirmed the enraged statement. "Yes, if the Hokage is seen teaching anyone other than their own family and/or students the Ninja Arts, that is favouritism, which is grounds for expulsion. So you want Gladiator then Naruto?."

    Exhaling, Naruto replied. "Yeah, let's get on with this."

    With that, Sasuke reached out & tapped the chosen Class.

"Well, the other day when I was getting my Ninja Licence, I met Jiji's grandson Konohamaru who thought just 'cuz they're related, he's bound to be Hokage, so I beat it into him that if you want to be a Kage, or even just a good Ninja, there aren't any shortcuts...and I realized that I myself wasn't actually working that hard either, so I started to knuckle down on things I thought a Hokage needed to know."

    Chuckling as she picked her class, Sakura remarked. "Well, it looks like Hinata should place bets more often." Seeing the strange looks she was getting from the three boys she elaborated. "Shino often ran betting pools in class, even some of the teachers joined in sometimes, one of those bets was how far Naruto would get before realizing that being Hokage wasn't just flashy jutsu. Usually Hinata just ignored us, but this time she bet an entire 6-month Hyuuga acupuncture VIP Package that you just needed to verbalise it."

    At first i was going to go with Elemental Manipulation for Sasuke but then it occurred to me that we can get chakra paper rather easily once we get to chunin level. Top secret jutsu on the other hand are much harder to get.

    Damn, Sakura's options are good, I'm not going to be mad no matter what ends up winning. but this one seems awesome, and the most devastating in combat. (Something that she severely lacks in canon). it potentially lacks as much utility outside of it, but that is only if you are uncreative. considering some of the canon feats done using chakra it has to be an extremely potent energy source, now imagine turning that into pure kinetic energy, or thermal or...

    It is especially potent if it can lead to greater skills later, like being able to convert normal energy sources back into chakra, (thus circumventing her (relatively) low chakra supply) or draining/manipulating other things chakra.

    She should start carrying small pieces of metal (Balls of tungsten ideally) that she can then pump up with as much kinetic energy as one of Guy's punches, only concentrated into a much smaller area.

    Hell, assuming she found a way to survive it, she could use this technique to speed her self up or even 'fly' by applying kinetic force to herself.

    One thing Naruto has always been known for was durability with Tatsu-no-ken we can weaponize it to the extreme.
     
    Energy conversion is more fitting for sakura and to me has more potential then the space-time option.

    You do realize Sakura isn't on the level of naturl prodigy in speed or combat power as both of them right to use it effectively? sakura hasn't trained under Tsunada so she doesn't have super strength from her perfect chakra control. without it she's crap in Taijustu/close combat. even when she did learn how to fight she wasn't really that fast of a ninja.

    And you're point being? You claimed Space-Time had less potential, I pointed out we know of several mindboggingly overpowered Space Time Jutsu. I also disagree with the assumption that the way someone turned out is their predestined nature. I'd also argue that Sakura is a prodigy, we never actually see her struggle to learn anything, not even, like, physical things. Not try, sometimes, but she takes to things remarkably quickly every time we have the chance to observe.
