Chakra: The RPG: Leaf-nin Edition

[X] Judge: Separating the guilty from the innocent is not an easy job, nor is it always a clean one, as some criminals get away free, requiring Judges to take to the field and deliver the correct verdict using their advanced Ninjutsu skills. Now, how do you plead? Innocent...or Guilty? {Gains One (1) Ninjutsu Specialization, +5 Intelligence (INT) & Gains Trait: {The Verdict Is…}}

[X] Scribe: "Words have power." To most people this is just a figure of speech, but to a Scribe this phrase is an absolute truth. Be it the Runes of the Civilians, the O-mikuji of the Monks, the Inscriptions of the Samurais or the Fuinjutsu of the Ninjas, Scribes can rewrite the laws of physics with a single piece of paper. {Gains One (1) Fuinjutsu Specialization, +5 Wisdom (WIS) & Gains Trait: {Write It All Down.}}]

[X] Gladiator: In the Ancient days of Rome, the accursed were not simply belittled in the streets like today, no, they were forced to fight in giant arenas as Gladiators, bereft of armaments & armor, all for the amusement of the upper class, hoping to one day gain enough fame so the crowds may release them from their shackles. {Gains One (1) Taijutsu Specialization, +5 Endurance (END) & Gains Trait: {Sine Missione.}}

[X] Magician: How did you do that? Where did it go? What's the trick? Are all questions Magicians hear daily. The answer is, to kids, a highly sought after secret, but any half-competent adult could probably tell you it's 50% Chakra application & 50% Sleight-of-hand. {Gains One (1) Genjutsu Specialization, +5 Wisdom (WIS) & Gains Trait: {For My Next Trick…}}

Sasuke wants to min-max. "Judge" offers fighting skills and the intelligence to min-max better in the future.

[X] Analyst: Strength, trajectories, speed, an Analyst can tell all this & more from a single glance, helping to organise their cells to produce flawless victories again & again against even the harshest enemies. {Gains One (1) Tactics Specialization, +10 Intelligence (INT) & Gains Trait: {An Eye For Detail.}}

I can't see many inexperienced twelve-year-old picking "teamwork" over "rewriting the laws of physics", but Sakura's been hitting her head against the brick wall of Sasuke's disinterest for a while. Tactics would be more likely to help with that than fuuinjutsu.

[X] ...Sakura, she won't lead me wrong."

Naruto picks the title that sounds most powerful and respected and then Sakura because he admires her. Sakura goes with "Magician", because it sounds calmer and smarter than the other options and she wants Naruto to wise up and stop bothering her, not get even bouncier.

[X] Medic: When a person gets injured on the field, a Medic sees to them, making sure they can finish whatever job they were doing. But just because they're healers doesn't mean they are easy targets, as their famous Chakra Scalpels can just as easily kill as they can heal. {Gains One (1) IryojutsuSpecialization, +5 Charisma (CHAR) & Gain Trait: {Don't Mess With TheMedic!}}

I personally can't see Naruto doing Genjustu, the skill set takes to much focus and concentration for the finer details for him to really get into it, let's not forget his chakra control. naruto is a human not the fox so that comparison don't really mean much and Fuinjustu is a rare skill set from naruto's home land with only a small amount of people in the elemental nations that even have a clue about what it's true potential is, so I just can see sakura doing it even less than naruto, at least the skill set in in a skill set connected to his people.

honestly I can see naruto being a Taijustu, Ninjustu, or a Fuinjustu specialist
Sakura a Genjustu, Medical, Taijustu specialiest
Kenjustu, taijustu, Ninjustu, and Genjustu specialist since while he has good genes and normal chakra control.

Ah! You see, you're looking at it as this vote is the "be all, end all" of their style growth, not true, in fact;
If Sakura picks Analyst & gains enough Reputation with either the Yamanaka or Kurema Clan, she can unlock 2 different Genjutsu Classes for her next Rank Up.

ah, I see I thought it was like a one class system thing which they get bonuses to training the selected class skills while everything else gets a negative to training since its not from that classes skill set. so they're skills sets can branch?

yep, in fact;
If you want a Fuinjutsu Class for Naruto, he has to pick Magician, recruit an Uzumaki & find out about Kushina (Minato to for a better Class), all before Hiruzan dies

Yeah.....I'm not seeing that happen unless we SOMEHOW find Karin in the Chunin Exams. Not really interested in such a small opportunity.

International missions do exist, very rare, but they are a thing you can do, also, you can make Hiruzan survive the exams if you
re-ignite his passion as a Ninja, OR, warn Anko about the Fake Grass-nin.

Well that is nice to know, but I would rather have Gladiator Naruto. Both for the Taijutsu focus and because I like what it implies about him.

By the way when is the vote being called?

uh...I COULD call it now, but it's barely been a full day, is that enough?

eh, to hell with it! Sasuke & Naruto know what they want, even Sakura is pretty sure!
Votes locked!

[] ...Sasuke, he looks like he knows what he's doing."
Wins!
So, Kakashi now has an Assault Team on his hands.

Yesssssss. This is going to be so fucking epic! Taijutsu+SO MUCH YANG CHAKRA+Uzumaki Vitality=I'M THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH!

Oh I can't wait for Naruto to meet Rock Lee and Gai.

Sakura was always the smartest of the Konoha 12, except for Shikamaru, so I really want to see what she can do now.

Also Sasuke being a Judge? Oh I can't wait to see how this interacts with his thing with Itachi.

Also is this RPG thing normal for this verse? Because Kakashi seems pretty chill about it and Sasuke is a Gamer.

No, Kakashi was/is an ANBU Captain; he won't/can't lose his shit in front of 3 brats, much less his brats over something like this.

As for Sasuke, he's a gamer/otaku, NOT a Gamer, the reason he knows what's going on, is:
  1. He's played LOTS of games,
  2. He's read "The Gamer" Manwa.

...The Gamer manhwa exists here?

Well. I can now imagine Sasuke sitting in class with his ever-serious looks and pensive mood, dutifully reading his ninja textbook like the model student he was.

In actuality, he was reading the latest chapter of "The Gamer-nin"; hidden cleverly inside his copy of "The History of the Ninja World."

'Tch. So you learn skills from books? Hah! I can learn them just by watching! At least, I'll do when I get my sharingan...'

'Soon, I'll be able to curbstomp that man... I just need to keep leveling up...'
