There's plenty of berry bushes growing in the forest. You know this, because berries are easier to identify than mushrooms, and most of the berries you know of are safe to eat, even if they don't quite coincide with the species available in the Analog World.
After all, nothing here is really like what happens in the Analog World- there's always some sort of twist to it. Small things, like a change of color, or large ones, like how most of the wildlife can talk. The only edible things that were ever alive are the fish, and half of those are sapient.
Sometimes, you wonder what a scientist would think if they were to stumble across this world. Haruka doesn't count.
But. If you could acquire berry bushes, particularly those with thorns, and plant them around the entrance to where Elecmon and the babies are hiding... not only does it work as a food source, but it can double as a deterrent for anyone who's just casually sniffing around the place. Probably. So long as they aren't specifically looking for anyone, you're pretty sure it'll work out.
And if it doesn't... well. Odds are you'll be long gone by then. You'll likely never hear about it, unless Puppetmon's the type to gloat.
...So you'll probably be hearing about it. Okay, then.
That makes keeping the area safe even more important.
The problem with trying to transport something as large as an actual bush is that you need something to dig with. You weren't entirely expecting Elecmon's claws to be good enough to do the trick, but it is a problem, since you don't exactly have easy access to a shovel.
Puppetmon probably has a shovel, even if he's got no interest in gardening, but that wouldn't be very easy for you to get your hands on at all. You could probably do something with rocks, but then you'd need to track down the right kind of rocks, and that might take even longer than planning to sneak into Puppetmon's place, or assault it, or whatever you'd end up deciding on.
Technically speaking, Machinedramon's territory is probably within a day's flight, but that's a long way to go for a shovel, and also you might run into Machinedramon. If you don't, he'll still probably tell Puppetmon that you're hiding out in his territory.
Piedmon's territory is too far away from that, and also completely out of the question, because Piedmon. MetalSeadramon's is out not because of distance, but because you don't believe you'll find any good shovels underwater, and the ones you'd be likely to find on a beach would just be children's toys.
...Then again, you suppose that toys are better than nothing.
[ ] It's time to mess about with rocks for a month or so.
[ ] It's time to attempt to steal from Puppetmon. In no way can this possibly go wrong.
[ ] It's time to attempt to steal from MetalSeadramon. Somehow, you think you've decided on the worst idea possible.
[ ] It's time to attempt to steal from Machinedramon. If you're lucky, he won't even be bothered by it.
